"Vastly different" is an overstatement not necessarily relative to the speed of light.
As I stated, their diets are both omnivorous and so comparatively similar relative to availability, though preferences are probably similar...Polar bears preferring seal to salad...Miniature poodles, tender meaty chunks in jelly to sauerkraut.
Larger dogs might enjoy a big meaty sausage.
Cats are a better example, but not of a big meaty sausage.
