Whose moderation style would most closely resemble the following:  "Is the forum on fire? If yes, delete and temp ban those involved. If no, fuck on with your day"

My vote would go to that person

We should take turns to act as sort of executive officer for the week but all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs or by a two thirds majority in the case of more important issues.

Mike, his arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft the bannhammer from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that he, bsh, was to carry the banhammer. That is why he is your mod!

Listen. Strange site owners lying in ponds distributing hammers is no basis for a system of moderation. Supreme moderator power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical electronic ceremony.

This doesn't sound like a mod system moreso than Athenian democracy.

It's more of an anarcho-syndicalist commune.

well we aren't really rolling out new policies on a biweekly basis is the thing. We just need someone with extra powers who can enforce the CoC. A mod seems like a more ideal system than a commune imho.

You get elected executive officer. Describe to me how you rule during your term.

Monty Python is kind of before my time. My grandpa loved it though. He even bought Monty Python and The Holy Grail the computer game.
