Since the other game is still going for some reason, and looks like will probably last at least another 24 hours or so,I don't see why we can't go ahead and start so everyone who is dead in the other game doesn't have to wait an absurdly long time for no reason.

Standard rules apply. I won't answer questions that contain hypotheticals about how a role would or could work. I will gladly answer questions in your own role pm about your own role though. Theme split isn't a major aspect of this. There is a theme split, and i'll leave it up to you if you want to figure it out. While I don't think it is neccesarily a tough one, it is kind of abstract. 

As I said in the sign ups this is a simple 2 v 7 game, no third parties included. Mafia were not given fake claims. Good luck and have fun!

Vanilla is honestly not the kind of claim you want to make at the start of DP1. There are claims that affect town deeply and should be mentioned here, but Vanillas generally want to keep themselves hidden as much as possible and provide some distraction from potential power roles. Essentially, at this stage, it would have been best to keep this secret.

That being said, please, do not give your character claim. Scum can choose between any number of comedians, but we do want to avoid giving them indications of who they shouldn't choose. It wouldn't be the first time scum got CC'd for choosing a character who was already in the game as town.

I'm gonna write up drlebronski's claim as a Noob Town move. He hasn't played in enough games to understand the metas and such and in the last game, he tried to get me to claim my Tracker which is heavily anti meta as town. This alligns with what he did last game and so I have a lean town on drlebronski because of it

This is his third or fourth game and in each we’ve told him not to claim.

I specifically remember telling him in my Roman Battles Mafia to not claim unless asked. I have an FoS on him at the moment.
