Surprised nobody has posted about this yet, but will Smith is a bitch. I have been to a comedy show where an attendee has 3rd degree burns on their face and the comedian was giving him shit for it, and he laughed hysterically. 

Chris rock makes a hair joke, and tries to trink Jada like a normal human. What we all want when we are sick by the way, and will acts like a sissy and smacks Chris Rock. 

Chris Rock handled it better than I would have, and I am surprised at how much of an alpha he looked like in front of a tearful Will Smith.

The law should apply equally to all persons.  If some non-celebrity had jumped on stage and assaulted the host on live television, that assailant would be in prison right now and facing some significant charges.  When Smith's name was called  to rec'v best actor award, the just result would have been for Smith to be in custody, unavailable for awards.  Perhaps his wife could have stood up and given a few remarks on the heartbreak of alopecia in his stead.

The law should apply equally to all persons.  If some non-celebrity had jumped on stage and assaulted the host on live television, that assailant would be in prison right now and facing some significant charges.  When Smith's name was called  to rec'v best actor award, the just result would have been for Smith to be in custody, unavailable for awards.  Perhaps his wife could have stood up and given a few remarks on the heartbreak of alopecia in his stead.
I feel like I've walked into an eclectic bunch of mountain hermits who can only be understood by each other. You take turns being crazy. Here oromagi says something sensible but in another thread he's denying the space program (and obvious BoP).

That's disgusting, that a comedian mocked an audience member for having third degree burns.

As for this issue, I not only think the joke did touch on going too far but of all celebs who would do this, I cannot believe Will Smith is the one... seemed so fun-loving.

I am not a stranger to high-functioning sociopaths and narcissists masking very well but he really fooled me.

This is also why I avoid comedy aimed to ridicule victims of things, I am much more about stand-up that targets specific tropes and situations.

I have heard people point out that he was laughing until Jada told him it wasn't funny, and she has him on a leash. Women tend to get men in trouble this way, but he is ultimately in control of physically attacking someone

I defended his right to promote pedophilia here, something that 90% of people would want him banned for, if he was more open about his views. When you go see a comedian you almost have to expect there's going to be no holds barred. I've seen comedians with cerebral palsy and there's a guy that comes up on my Facebook that's a stutter they are hysterical. There show is them making fun of themselves. Comedians don't mean half of what they say and the other half of what they say is to just get a rise out of people.
