Nice jibe.

Nonetheless some things are obvious.

And the flat Earth thing is what it is.

An antiquated pseudo theory that relies upon an infinite conspiracy between faceless conspirators.

A box is a box and perhaps you are stuck in a particular fantasy box.

You can see why lots and lots of peoples wanted to dig deep holes straight down but.
Its so darn appealing.
I mean .
It must of been so appealing.

Yep, as a kid my dad would say if you dug a deep enough hole you would end up in Australia.

Lucky I didn't.

Can you imagine breaking through?

Whoosh, straight into outer space.

LMAO sometimes Shila is genuinely hilarious:

You are out of your league. You couldn’t even  fill your membership details and left all personal information marked ‘unknown’.

I was told if you go deep enough you end in china.
Except every hole i dug i ended up in Australia,  your old man was smart.

I can so imagine breaking on through.
Ya head popping up upside-down.

I've  dug a 4 foot hole max id say.
A  (4 feet hole )  at the age of 9 or 10  is a big fucking hole .

I have stood next to a few 6ft holes in my time and i am always blown away by how deep that appears to me.
Im 6 foot 2 whatever that has to do with it.

Hey zed.
I bet you blow your mind the first time you stood at the crease of a full sized cricket pitch.
It appears like you would have ages to see a cricket ball make it to you.
It appears massive hey.
I bet you can still remember it like yeterday

First time you stood infront of a full size football / soccer goal  you think how the fuck can the keeper get from one side alllllllllll the way to the other.
It appeared MASSIVE HEY.

The hight of a basketball ring wasn't that special.

I did an experiment and i found
A cricket pitch 35 years on still appears massive to me.
Standing at one end.

Maybe getting  a few full tosses might shorten it.
Anyway.
I bet you can remember them two things.

Yep, knocking balls about with bits of wood or kicking bags of wind around.

The things people do to pass the time of day. And even more stupid is that people will get excited just standing around watching.

No hunter gathering these days you see, just pop down to Aldi or Tesco.

Don't think I saw full sized goal posts or a proper cricket pitch until I was 11 and went to big school.

Big school was daunting enough.

Sheltered rural upbringing you see.

And then there was the freezing cold outdoor swimming pool.

10 feet at the deep end, and the shallow end was up to your chest.

Super scary.

Yep, as I stated the Earth is clearly spherical.

So, do you suggest that I re-enter some bogus profile details like your bogus profile details.

French Canadian Catholic........As if.
French Canadians are the majority population in Montreal, which is often said to be the second largest French-speaking city in the world (after Paris)

You have even less information to confirm your own identity.

Within this context, it's not possible to confirm either my identity or your identity.

Perhaps next time you visit the U.K. we can meet up for a cup of tea.

Why would your life change in a simulation?

You cant change reality. A simulation is a product of arbitrary fake outcomes based on the whims of its creator.

Sure, but does that change how you should interact with people. Like, a conscious AI versus a person, they're both conscious and feel, why not engage with the same moral calculation?

I refuse to continue this absurd conversation. If you think your life is a simulation then so be it. I wont try to convince you otherwise.

I never said my life is a simulation. I don't think the question matters at all is my point.

I've come to realise that everything  is actually an internal simulation of an assumed external reality.

If one considers the processes involved in producing a sensory understanding of everything.

In terms of a visual understanding of externality, it is impossible to see anything other than an internally created image converted from an external light source.

In other words, a simulation.

Same applies to all other sensory input.

This is true, though I don't know if it affects how I live my life at all.

How should we define "flat"?

Because if we can't define Earth's surface as "flat", then my "flat earth model" would therefore fall flat, ironically.

Inefficient. So is geocentrism.

You think both geocentrism and Flat Earth are not wrong, just inefficient? What’s your criteria for wrongness?

If it is self-contradictory. Geocentrism and flat earth neither are self-contradictory.

It is just using Earth as the reference frame of motion as well as using the earth's surface as the reference for flatness makes everything difficult.

Well, it's how you live your life.

So normality in that respect.

And therefore you don't naturally consider it.

It's only when you think about that you realise all sensory input has to be converted into internal electro-chemical data, before it can be understood.

We can never be 100% certain that we do actually interact with our surroundings in the way that we think we do.
