Still think it's just white cops.

Barring the fact that you dropped about the states with the highest gun ownership having the lowest murder rates...

Australia banned guns and still regularly has mass shootings.

In fact, in 2022, YEARS after the gun ban was put into effect, Australia had its bloodiest year ever:

So. No. It isn't "gun culture" causing mass shootings. It is criminals having nobody to stand up to them.

The context of that video seems to be US shootings?

Nope.

"Criminals" having ready access to guns is gun culture.

A "criminal" is no more or less a citizen of the U.S. and therefore a part of U.S. culture.

And a nut-job who has ready access to guns will kill. Such is a consequence of gun culture.

And armed citizens (those that you regard as the good guys with guns) never have and will not, eradicate either the criminal or the nut job from U.S. society.

Such is gun culture.

I think you confuse gun ownership with gun culture.

The two are very different things.

Also, there have indeed been many times a good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun:

And there will have been many times when a bad guy with a gun stopped a good guy with a gun.

This is U.S. gun culture.

As is the lax approach to the ownership of guns in the U.S.

And who the good and bad guys are is largely irrelevant.

400,000,000. Enough guns for everyone.

And so 44,000 people died, so what, that's gun culture too.

I'm going to assume two things here. Correct me if I'm wrong:

1. You aren't American.

2. You get all your news from liberal sources.

"Gun culture" in America is the group of responsible gun owners who take gun handling classes, teach each other the proper way to store, handle, and clean a gun, and usually use their guns at the range or to hunt.

Gun culture teaches others NOT to use guns for mass shootings, that guns are dangerous and a lot of responsibility, and that, if you own one, you should be familiar with best practices for storage, handling, and usage.

THAT is gun culture.

All the bullshit where people just go buy a gun and kill people isn't gun culture. It's a product of our shitty socialist public education system, our liberal media telling people they are oppressed and everything is hopeless, when they aren't and everything isn't, and the glorification of "thug life" and people who use guns to commit crimes in the entertainment media. It is also a product of our fucking terrible approach to mental health. But none of that is "gun culture." There's a MAJOR difference between the two.

So before you go running off your mouth thinking you're so smart, you should take a minute and talk to people who are actually part of the country you're talking about.

Most of the problems we have in America today stem from a turning away from our founding ideals. It isn't guns. It's the media giving people a steady dose of fear, anger, and cult brainwashing that is turning our population into scared, angry, brainwashed people. And this is happening globally.

Almost everywhere it's been tried, gun control has failed to curtail the murder rate. And in many cases it worsened:

You have to see in the statistics if black people murdered by the police rate has increased during the last decade because I have a feeling this is getting worse as long as the woke culture is getting more influence on society.

I mean, being part of the woke culture makes you more "empowered" (favourite word of lefties), and eventually people will show this empowerment to the police, which is something they shouldn't do since the police has the monopoly on violence.

Culture:   The ideas, customs and social behaviour of a particular people or society.

So U.S. culture incorporates all customs and social behaviour of U.S. society.

Which includes all aspects of ownership possession and usage of guns. Responsible and irresponsible alike.

And not just the rose tinted view of a pleasant day out at the gun club with a fine set of lads and lassies.

Conservatively estimated at 400,000,000 guns nationwide and 44000 gun related deaths in 2022.

All statistics readily available on line to liberals and conservatives alike.

And me, I'm apolitical and moderate.

And all societies have criminals and a criminal culture.

But what we have is Police that deal with criminals

And not every Tom Dick and Harriet armed to the teeth, eager to take the law into their own hands.

Gun deaths in the UK. 150 approx. Including suicide, homicide and accidental. (Definitive statistics for 2022, hard to find).

Sporting guns are rigorously controlled.

Very few people own or use hunting rifles.

And no ordinary law abiding citizen owns or uses military grade automatic or semi-automatic firearms.
