Democrats had sought to impose a $35 monthly price cap on the cost of insulin for patients on Medicare and those with private plans. But Republican lawmakers blocked the part of the policy that would have extended the cap to private insurance coverage.

Yes yes, it’s all a commie socialist plot.  The real socialism was all that Federal money that went to Columbus, Ohio to get their economy going.
What a waste that socialism was.

Due to great need, the City of Columbus committed an additional $410,000 to the Right to Recover program serving people who lose income due to COVID-19 and who commit to isolate in their homes for 14 days to lessen the spread of the virus.

Last year, Democrats extended Obamacare’s beefed-up tax credits — which have reduced premiums for 13 million Americans — through 2025. Now, Biden will urge Congress to make the enhanced financial aid permanent, an ask he also had last year, as the uninsured rate sits at a record low.

I pay $150 a week for health insurance and I haven't been to a doctor in years. I don't feel like health costs went down with Biden

Well Republicans said you didn’t deserve a break. $600/mo for a family plan? Who is your employer? Do you take insulin? Do you have any extended family members who take insulin?

No president in decades has weathered his first midterm election as successfully as did Biden, but in the end, Democrats still narrowly lost their majority in the House.

Prior to FDR capping wages and forcing employees to create health insurance programs my understanding is that medical care was significantly more affordable.

It's not a family plan my wife's insurance takes care of the kid. I am not telling you who my employer is. I don't take insulin. Like I said, I am healthy. Democrats. When George Bush was in office I paid less than this in a month and got the same type of care.

You mean healthcare was more affordable when people died at 65 and we didn’t have hardly any miracle drugs? What a surprise

It's pointless. It costs 75 a week for the kid and 150 a week for adults. Add me to her plan and it goes up 150 a week . That is what the plan costs.

That’s a lie. Obamacare made it cheaper for the working poor to get health insurance.

But you pay 150 for your plan, why not just be on your wife’s plan?

It's not a family plan my wife's insurance takes care of the kid.
What does this even mean?

That’s another lie. The middle class isn’t funding Obamacare unless you’re talking about middle class people who weren’t getting insurance before and then they simply wouldn’t pay their bills  if  they got sick.

The way insurance works, if you hadn’t heard, is more people pay into the kitty than is paid out. The bigger the group, the more financially sound the insured group is. The less free riders you have, getting healthcare without paying anything, the lower the premiums.

Also, there’s a 1% tax on the upper middle class on income over $250,000 a year called the Additional Medicare Tax. So guys like me pay more so guys like you can have health insurance and not be a free rider. This money was used to expand Medicaid for the poor across the country in states that allowed the expansion.

He literally showed the government collected statistics to prove otherwise

If my plan costs 150 a week and hers would cost 150 a week to add me, please explain how the fuck it matters if I go to her plan

What does this even mean?

It means I pay for my own insurance and she pays for her and the kid. Hers before adding the kid is 150 a week once she adds the kid to it, it became 225 a week. If she adds me it will go to 375 a week . Pretty simple stuff.

Bullshit. Some nonsense from 2017. And Republicans have been sabotaging Obamacare since day one. Everything from ending the mandate, not setting up state health exchanges, and even prohibiting the advertising of the open enrollment period.

Why would a married couple do that? Is the truth you are divorced?  Do you work for the same company? Do you both use the same insurance company even though you have different employers? As usual, it looks like you are not being truthful. Why do you have only one kid? Can you not afford to have more than one?

Biden reversed it:

Now Biden wants to claim credit for what Trump already did, that which he refereed, and now uses his attempt to reinstate it as a gavel upon republicans?

Please. What a joke. What’s even more hilarious is the OC/OP’s author whining about it.
