Invitation to Mafia Championship (Season 10)

Hey everyone!

Those in the know may recall that we've been involved in an inter-website mafia championship in previous years, and it looks like another one is just around the corner. The link for it is given below, and the tournament is supposed to start on April 22nd. We've participated before and I hope someone will step up to the challenge and join the competition this year. Note that the Google Doc details some of the requirements, including a good amount of activity in a forum mafia game on a daily basis. Let me know if you have any questions and I can relay them.

I'm seriously tempted and I like the setup, but it's way too much of a time commitment. I just don't got it to spare.

DART could hydra the whole tournament, I'd definitely give a look in at that. 

I just know I have been scum the last 3 times I played and you have basically called the scum team DP1 of all 3 games. You also have an IDGAF attitude so are very difficult to scum read. 

As good as I think I am at this game, I already know I'm not the best. At least where it comes to application. I'm a theorist and I like the fun reads. I am not about the grind.

There are some monsters out there. 

I have also threatened every recent mod with AFK if they make me mafia. I don't think the MafiaUniverse folks would let me get away with that. It's just too much work.

I can do it, but only if I get one of the later games in Round 1. 

If I somehow make Round 2, I’ll need one of the early games, ideally the first one.

If by some miracle I make finals, I’ll need to be subbed out.

I don't think I'm particularly good, but even setting that aside, I just don't have the time to dedicate to it.

Hey Mharman!! There tends to be quite a bit of flexibility in scheduling, and we could definitely get you into a later round 1 game/possible early round 2 game! For the final round, it has both more and less flexibility in the sense that we can cater a little more to your preferences with fewer players, but scheduling for an exact 15-player game will always involve compromises... anyways we can always talk about it if/when we get there, in a few months!!!

Also just in general even if you don't feel like you're that good at the game, it can still be fun to play with people from other communities so don't let that stop you, but also up to if you want to play in the first place!!!!

This tournament is intended primarily as a social event tobring communities together, and to that end we have an active spectator chat onDiscord where people from other communities are spectating their ownrepresentatives.
