The study I pulled up was that per volume, about 2/3 of the sodas purchased through SNAP were canned.

The top commodity bought by SNAP recipients according to your source is milk!

The top 10 sub commodities by expenditures was the same for SNAP and non-SNAP households

You are better off sticking to larping Fanchick since you are so bad at lying.
To a loser like yourself, everything that normal people do seems unbelievable.

Having a good paying profession, getting and staying married, owning a home (or several homes) having children, being a military officer and pilot all seem incomprehensible to you because you have done so little with your life. Sucks to be a substitute teacher who lives all alone.

They also buy a lot of processed and precooked frozen stuff as well, which is far more expensive than home prepared meals.
Ya processed food and frozen dinners costs more than fresh meat and vegetables. Only in your alternative reality world SubTeach

I would encourage you to reflect on your words and consider the impact they may have. It's essential to communicate respectfully and avoid belittling or hurting others. Practicing empathy can be helpful in this situation.
Did you get this script from your therapist as a coping mechanism? Is it helping, lol?

I would encourage you to reflect on your words and consider the impact they may have. It's essential to communicate respectfully and avoid belittling or hurting others. Practicing empathy can be helpful in this situation. Take the time to understand the perspective and experiences of others before making assumptions or passing judgment. Treat others with kindness and respect, regardless of their life choices or circumstances. Remember that everyone has their own unique journey, and it's important to be supportive rather than judgmental. When engaging in online interactions, be mindful of the potential for misunderstandings and hurtful exchanges. Take a moment to pause, re-read your message, and consider its tone and potential impact before hitting send. Instead of comparing yourself to others or criticizing their life choices, focus on your own personal growth and development. Celebrate your own accomplishments and work towards your goals without diminishing the achievements of others. By fostering positive and respectful interactions, you can contribute to a healthier and more positive online environment.

Engaging in deceptive behavior by pretending to be someone important for attention is not advisable, and I would strongly discourage it. Such actions can have negative consequences and are detrimental to both your own reputation and the trust others have in you. It is important to prioritize honesty and authenticity in your interactions with others. Pretending to be someone important can lead to misunderstandings, strained relationships, and a loss of trust. It undermines your integrity and ethical conduct, as deception goes against the principles of honesty and transparency. Building genuine connections based on your own qualities, experiences, and interests is far more meaningful and fulfilling than seeking attention through deceitful means. Rather than relying on impersonation, focus on developing self-confidence and self-acceptance. Seek validation through recognizing your own achievements, improving yourself, and celebrating your unique qualities. By doing so, you can build a sense of authenticity that will attract genuine connections and respect from others. Respecting the identities and boundaries of others is crucial. Pretending to be someone important infringes upon their rights and privacy. It is important to treat others with respect and avoid misrepresenting yourself as someone you are not. Instead of seeking attention through deceptive means, explore healthy outlets for self-expression and recognition. Engage in activities and hobbies that genuinely interest you and contribute positively to your personal growth. By pursuing your own passions and interests, you can find fulfillment and genuine appreciation from others. Being true to yourself, acting with integrity, and seeking attention through honest and meaningful means are essential for personal growth and positive relationships. It is far more rewarding to develop self-confidence, authenticity, and genuine connections than to rely on deceptive behavior for attention.

Exhibit 6: Top 100 Commodities for SNAP Households by Expenditure

SNAP Household Expenditures
5.44% Soft drinks
3.85% Fluid milk products

You're looking at the charts of sub-commodities which are hybrid mixes and separate from commodities.

Commodities is the major category.

Well, the Chapter 5 Conclusion of the study says:
Overall, the findings from this study indicate that SNAP households and non-SNAP households purchased similar foods in the retail outlets in these data. The findings hold true after assessing food expenditure patterns of SNAP and non-SNAP households using multiple categorization methods. Both groups of households spent about 40 cents of every dollar of food expenditures on basic items such as meat, fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs, and bread. Another 20 cents out of every dollar was spent on sweetened beverages, desserts, salty snacks, candy and sugar. The remaining 40 cents were spent on a variety of items such as cereal, prepared foods, dairy products, rice, and beans.

They are similar. They both buy soda.

But the question of this thread posed by Prefix asked if SNAP people buy more soda. The study conclusively stated that this is the case per chart 6.
In regards to milk, Snap consumers purchase around 1.4 times more soda than milk.
Non-Snap consumers purchased an equivilent amount of soda and milk at about a 1 to 1 ratio.

You seem to be answering a question that nobody asked.

Maybe "lazy" isn't the right term.
What is the right term based on your soda theory?

Non SNAP households also would include older consumers over 60 who would be less likely to drink soda. Who’s on SNAP? Young families, single moms with kids, right?

Is the data adjusted for age?

You are listing a bunch of words that are synonyms to lazy.

So lazy is appropriate? Or perhaps fat?

  • apathetic   as in they aren't concerned that milk is cheaper than soda ( which only a fool would believe otherwise ), they will buy what they want because it's just monopoly money anyway.
  • careless       as in they don't care that milk is cheaper than soda ( which only a fool would believe otherwise ), they will buy what they want because it's just monopoly money anyway.
  • etc etc etc

You think poor people think that way about money.? To poor people, money is a precious commodity.

as in they aren't concerned that milk is cheaper than soda
We have determined they are about the same, from 3 to 3.4 cents an ounce.

So is gratitude. There is also poverty of the spirit.

Biden and McCarthy near a deal.

“The new rules would apply to recipients up to age 54 who do not have dependents, raising the current limit of age 49. However, the bill would include some new exemptions for former military service members and people who are homeless, a source said”

So awesome, the Republicans took the economy hostage out of concern over people 50 to 54 who are getting food stamps and not working. What a great accomplishment!

In a free market, government wouldn't be able to hold the economy hostage.
