What do you propose to do: orphan all of their children? Or "accidentally" arrange for their deaths as well
No of course not! I wouldnt suggest such a thing.
Snerp laughs to break the tension
But perhaps keeping the presence of you two a secret while horses are rented would be a good idea given certain Vistani do spy for Strahd.. 2 or 3 of us can rent horses while the others wait a distance ahead in hiding.
We should also stay out of sight as we leave town and perhaps stick away from main roads before we're a safe distance away from Ravenloft. Then we ride fast to Velleki.

Snerp can always do that after and if we get any information..
(The only information that I think there would be to gain from Maggie is which townsfolk are conspiring with her. But I suspect the shopkeep regardless.)

was thinking more of interrogating rather than talking, I should have used quotes lol)

So wait, why am I less likely to be Drafters partner/why is Pie more likely, if thats what the probability is referring to?
Pies mostly town, I'm scummy, but pie is more likely to be Drafters partner? I'm not following this

(yes windmill/Maggi though if we can question her (doubtful) that might be really beneficial for us, camp, yes
(If i had picked up a charm spell, maybe. But hard to imagine she is gonna wanna talk to us.)

Ireena, Ismark, Donavich the distance may help for a while but this must stop, this evil must be stopped.
My friend is not wrong, you'll just have to excuse him. He's quite distrustful at times and likely is worried the vistani might be spies for Strahd and send message of our travels. I hope you can forgive him for it.
But once we take you both where you wish to go, I at least intend on confronting Strahd. I have no plans on being stuck in this land forever. There is still too much of the world left to see!
Stopping by and putting a stop to Maggie seems sensible considering it is along our way.
Snerp sizes up Ireena, a serious expression on his face.
You look like you can handle yourself in a fight, I take it you can?

(so velleki is past the castle. Hrmmmmmm, I think we should make a pit stop at Maggie's. Then the Vistani camp for horses, and go to Krezk. Further away, less influence if there is something influencing things.)

I insist on securing her safety in Vallaki, first.
I think we could use all of the help we can get against Maggie and your sister looks the part of being a more than capable fighter. Eikka is one of the fiercest fighters I've known, and she is a woman 😤.
But if you don't mind me asking. Why does Strahd seek to capture your sister so depsperately? And would Krezk not sound like a better idea than Valleki?
Created:

@TheDredPriateRoberts
it would be to not stop in Vallaki and go to Krezk on the other side of the valley. I

(Ohhhhh, yeah that's right.)

(like I'm not quite following ur reasoning for moving on an ignoring the vampire and Maggie? If there is an "influence" [though i honestly don't get what you mean with this if it's not regarding Strahds curse] it's been highly foreshadowed as coming from Strahd. We are supposed to be taking Ireena to a place that is closer to Strahd?)
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@TheDredPriateRoberts
(Once we reach the next town on the out skirts perhaps the influence will be less and we'll find out more
(So getting closer to Strahds castle is going to reduce the inflience of the curse he put on the land? Ismarck verified that the letter was sent out by him. So are you suggesting he is working with Strahd to lure people here? And Ireena and Ismarck are merely a ploy? If so, going their course will be doing exactly what's wanted.)

@TheDredPriateRoberts
yes and windmill is on the way.....wasn't Maggi at the windmill?
(Yep)
Created:

(something just feels so off about this whole situation. The town has been noted as seeming mostly empty. Where is everybody else? Did they all die in the attacks? Why did Strahd not just send forces en masse and end it right away?)

(vampires are hands down more powerful than Hags. Its important to note that we didn't really stumble upon Maggie in the same sense that we did the vampire. Note in the course of this main quest no sign of a vampire?
Yet Maggie kept popping up, as in we were being lead to Maggie and hints kept popping up about her while we were in town doing stuff. Whereas the church being sus wasn't brought up independently fmpov. It was brought up as a result of me and eikka going there independently, and you bringing up that we did go there to Ismarck.).
Tl;Dr foreshadowing is leading us to Maggie, not the vampire.)

(Hallow... It's a 5th level spell, so would be likely to fail even if we got our hands on a scroll for it.)
Created:

@TheDredPriateRoberts
We have disrupted her plans, she is aware of us now. She has probably formed a plan and perhaps gathered reinforcements, it's probable she will come for us before we find her.
I certainly hope she is foolish enough to try. Reinforcements or not we cannot let a potential trap sway us into not doing something. Can we even call ourselves good, call ourselves heroes, if we do nothing and another child dies by her hands?
(Holy Ground? There's the "Hallow" spell. But Hags wont be affected by it. They're not undead?)

(plus a hag would be easier to take on than a vampire. Unless the vamp is a fledgling, in which case it'd be of similar difficulty.
It's also important to note that Hags are witches. Various spell components(such as powdered silver and/or spell scrolls) are likely to be found in her den(the windmill. Plus the stone she has can be used to sneak up on the vampire while he's sleeping and stake him in his resting place, which will neutralize him.)

@drafterman
What do you intend to do now?
We need to get silver pieces to make powdered silver so you can make holy water for us. We'll need it for your son.
Snerp turns to the rest of the group
But I implore you all that Maggie must be stopped. Any moment wasted could result in another child suffering a heinous end. We cannot let this go on any longer.

@drafterman
(sounds good)
Snerp finishes digging the grave, and lays the childs body in the grave. He pulls out his lute to play another hymn, but his fingers stumble across the strings and he begins weeping again, the words of a prayer and vow coming out instead, his throat choking up as he does.
I'm sorry. I hope the Morninglord offers you his protection in death. I swear your death will not be in vain, and Maggie will die, or I will die trying...
Snerp grabs the shovel again and fills the grave in, tears still streaming down his face. When he is finished he follows the group back to the church.

As others bow their heads in reverance. Snerp starts playing the Song of High Noon.
🎶O Lord of Light, forever in our hearts
Always inspiring us in our arts
Seal our hearts with your blessed sun
O joyous day, when the heavens open
Seal our hearts with your blessed sun
O joyous day, when the heavens open
Zenith of the Sun
We thank thee for all thou hath done
We raise our palms to this holy star
Hear our chanting from afar
We raise our palms to this holy star
Hear our chanting from afar
O Lord of Light, illuminating the path
Saving us from the darkness beckoning wrath
We carry out your will, Dawn Lord
Your light, your loving ways are forever adored.
Saving us from the darkness beckoning wrath
We carry out your will, Dawn Lord
Your light, your loving ways are forever adored.
Zenith of the Sun
We thank thee for all thou hath done
We raise our palms to this holy star
Hear our chanting from afar🎶
We raise our palms to this holy star
Hear our chanting from afar🎶
When he finishes Snerp bows his head as well and speaks a short prayer
May the Morninglord shield you from darkness in death, and take in your soul to bask in the glory of the dawn eternally.
Snerp then grabs a shovel that is presumably near the grave and finds an empty spot in the graveyard and starts preparing a grave for the small child.

Yeah, I don't understand how people are construing this as a negative. Free trade isn't categorically beneficial
True, its not categorically beneficial. However the US is in a position fmpov where we do benefit greatly from free trade. I do agree that it doesn't make much sense to me how this is being construed as negative and or being brushed under the table. But such is the nature of the loony left 😂

Canada has caved and joined. 1.2 trillion worth of trade shifting to US. But everybody is actually winning out of this. 👍👍
Trump is legitly doing better than most any other president on economics and trade fmpov.
Meanwhile, Chinas butthole is almost fully puckered cause we've secured deals with most of our major trading partners. The big ones of EU, South Korea, and Mexico/Canada are done. Wonder when we're gonna get around to the Phillipines and Japan 😏.

Hello Donavich, or should I say, Dawnbringer. Nice to see you again. I hope you haven't redirtied the place after the cleaning i did last night. I must wonder, why are you looking so pale? You certainly looked tired and distraught before, but pale?
That's concerning considering your son in the undercroft. Did something happen Donavich? I really hope you didn't let him out out of fear we would come back to kill him, especially when I said I had every intention of saving him...
Snerp cautiously observes the surrounding, looking inside from the doorway to see if the church has remained semi-cleaned.

I can see ur point with the fluff posting. But GP has been fluff posting quite a bit too, no?
What are ur thoughts on Pie seeming to be hyperfocusing on theme?
Created:
Posted in:
Wanna hear from Danielle and Vaarka. But right now I'm ok with a GP or a EthanG Lynch.
It's important to note that VTNL'ing actually won't result in the loss of a maximal lynch being an even playered game. So unlike in an odd player game where it does, deciding to VTNL has little harm. I always prefer DP1 lynches, but as I said in the previous game, VTNL'ing in an 8 player game would not be a poor decision. It'd be neutral fmpov
Created:

EthanG's reads are honestly the only one I don't like. He says GP is too hyperactive to be scum, but there is a difference between a hyperactive scum and a hyperactive town. GP hasn't been producing substantiated reads, and only voted when sus'd for not doing so.
Not to mention, if GP is hyperactive, then so are two of his other FoS's, myself and Drafter. Who have posted just as much if not more, and are actually fully contributing to the game with substantiated reads.
Also, for someone who hasn't played the game before, it's quite odd that he has such clarity in knowing player and game meta.
Def sus'sing EthanG at this point. I find it interesting he points out pie as town, but unlike every other read, it's the only one without substantiation. Seems like EthanG may have been trying to slip his teammate into his TR's.
Speaking of teammate, I'd def like to see some behavioral analysis from Pie. I've always considered focus on theme while largely staying out of behaviors in analysis to be a scum tell, and that he did that has made me kinda sus.

I actually missed where Drafter soft claimed, but can see ur prolly right that he did with the "yee haw" in his first post.
The EthanG read is also in line with the Supa/RM read from DP1 of the previous game.

Eikka is lukewarm aboit that plan at best. If we had a revive she would want to save it in case one of you get yourselves killed
(But consider, the cool bonus we got from the house was for doing a good thing(burying the kids properly). Merely killing the vampire, especially considering the heavy hints the priest would kill himself["have nothing to live for"] would not fmpov be the good thing. It'd be neutral at best.
Saving the priests kid though? Not just the good thing, downright heroic. Bet it gets us a sweet perk, or potentially better. 👍)
