Almost there, she's about to break!
I drop my lute and pull out my bow. Taking aim at the creatures mouth, I loose an arrow the moment I see the mimic open it.(fire arrow at mimic.).

I say after we finnish of this mimic we camp right there in the doorway. Even if it takes twenty in game hours I'm not sure how much more we can take.)
I don't think it quite works that way. Best we can do right now is a short rest to heal, but a long rest is otherwise unavailable 😂. You still have a coupe spell slots, I have one. Earth is out but thats fine cause he has chill hand as a cantrip. We're not in bad shape by any means fmpov 👏)

I think we are about to get into something much larger than we've encountered so far, we should be at full strength, or as close as possible.
(I agree, but at this point short resting will just heal us a little bit. Not much else to do for awhile, so we gotta make do with what we have after getting the heal from short resting.

(if i don't succeed on the acrobatics check, I'll probably die xD. Cause I looked up mimics, advantage on attack checks against grappled enemies, and 1d8+3 damage on attack. I'd need a one to be rolled not to die 😂.
Inb4, the bardic inspire +1d6 on the acrobatic check saves me 😂).

I do an acrobatic check to escape the grapple. If that succeeds I scramble away from the mimic, out of attack range. If it doesn't, I kiss my own ass goodbye as a bonus action.

I don't quite understand in regards to the OP, how throwing money at other nations to take migrants, is solving the issue that creates that migrancy in the first place.
Wouldnt a better idea be to restrict illegal immigration, and open up H1-B visas for say education purposes. Then following that up with incentivizing returning back to native countries by offering say, low interest small business loans or the like?
Another alternative, end the welfare state and open borders. Without a welfare state, you dont need to limit legal immigration, just vet for security purposes. I'm all down for that. Ending the welfare state and opening borders would likely sway migrants looking for a handout from not coming here, but keep the people who just want the opportunity, coming. Which would be 🔥💯👌

When you have a welfare state, you can't have open borders, or even a large amount of immigration. The nation goes bankrupt.. being anti-immigratoom does =\= xenophobia. Immigration is not a charity, no country is required to take in any migrants whatsoever, and most do not.
Refugees are a different story, but still not required to take them all. Most countries take in barely any, for example, Canada scaled up their intake of refugees and the US scaled back. Guess which of the two still takes in more? That's right, the US.

As always in Socialist countries, if you have money, you get treatment. If you don't, you wait. This is an issue even in more extreme versions such as China. Dying at the hospital is sad, don't act like it's an issue with privatized systems, when in socialised systems, you die waiting to even get into a hospital.

The ghouls slash sends me backwards, and I use that momentum, as injured as I am, to roll out of the ghouls range. I come out of the roll and take aim quickly, loosing another arrow.

(well, him being a paladin would give us another heavily armored player. I don't understand why you don't go rogue? If ur wanting to be a thief, actually being one would probably be a really good idea 😂😂
Plus we do have a tank in a human fighter. we could honestly use a ranger or a rogue. Rogue being the more standard choice of the two. But Ranger is a very good alternative(ex: Drizz't Do'Urden) to that class.)
