TRANSEXUAL PASTOR COMPARES CHILD MURDERER TO JESUS.
-->
@zedvictor4
Recreational sex is what they do after Church.
Yes,  speaking of her controversial sex scandal with televangelist Jim Bakker, church secretary Jessica Hahn claimed that Preacher John Wesley Fletcher was the one who first led her to perverted Bakker.
Alleged family friend Fletcher reportedly brought the 21-year-old New Yorker to Florida in order to meet Bakker ad help out in the church.
Hahn claimed that he checked her in at the Sheraton hotel in Clearwater Beach to meet the known televangelist. He allegedly gave her a glass of red wine after which she “felt drugged,” according to Crime Reporter Steve Helling.
She later claimed that the men had raped her for “about 15 minutes.”

Objjective morality?
Actually, Sweden is a highly secular nation and almost half of Swedes say that religion is 'not at all important', according to a survey by Pew Research Center. It seems Sweden is one of the least religious countries in the world, along with countries such as the Czech Republic, France, Japan, Australia, UK and the Netherlands. Only about two in ten Swedes say that religion is 'somewhat important' or 'very important', compared with, for example, seven in ten Americans.
Not all Swedes are comfortable with the at times prominent cultural role of the church either, and many people pursue alternative forms of ritual. For example, only about 23 per cent of weddings are officiated by the Church of Sweden today. In 1970, that figure was 80 per cent.

@SkepticalOne

It's actually. with divine authority, you cannot have objective morality.

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

TRUMP INDICTED!
A well-supported theory from social psychology, known as Terror Management Theory, explains why Trump’s fear-mongering is doubly effective. The theory is based on the fact that humans have a unique awareness of their own mortality. The inevitably of one’s death creates existential terror and anxiety that is always residing below the surface. In order to manage this terror, humans adopt cultural worldviews — like religions, political ideologies, and national identities — that act as a buffer by instilling life with meaning and value.

Terror Management Theory predicts that when people are reminded of their own mortality, which happens with fear-mongering, they will more strongly defend those who share their worldviews and national or ethnic identity and act out more aggressively towards those who do not. Hundreds of studies have supported this hypothesis, and some have specifically shown that triggering thoughts of death tends to shift people towards the right.

Trump says the judge in his Hush Money case “hates” him
-->
@IwantRooseveltagain

 Rex Tillerson’s alleged comment that President Trump was “a moron” brings to reality the words of HL Mencken in the Baltimore Sun (26 July 1920): “As democracy is perfected, the office [of president] represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move towards a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

Trump says the judge in his Hush Money case “hates” him
Trump in the past has tweeted that he would sue any of his past schools if they released his grades or anything else about his school years. Despite his boasts about his ‘high intelligence’ and his great schoolwork, no one can remember him as being an outstanding student. He received no honors from Wharton, which can be researched, as well as Penn. And for someone with the ego he has, if he had great grades, I would assume he’d want to splash that all over the place. While he may have fooled his cultists and the rest of his supporters don’t care since its just another lie in a long string of them which they could care less about, the rest of us can pretty well figure out what it was. O have no doubt he probably spent quite a bit of time on some double secret academic probation. He’s never shown great intellect, has shown absolutely no intellectual curiosity, talks like a 6th grader, reasons like a 3rd grader, if the rumors are true, has a very short attention span, and no one will vouch for his claims of being a good student.

Let’s remember Trump called for Hillary and Obama and others to be indicted
-->
@IwantRooseveltagain
Yes, the ex-president delivered remarks intended to focus on protecting seniors during an event in Florida in 2020, but it quickly devolved into a political rally. Trump at one point meandered into attacking his 2016 rival, who is a recurring figure in his speeches even four years later.
The mention of Clinton’s name prompted calls of “lock her up” from the crowd.
“Yeah. I agree with you. I used to just be quiet on that. I agree with you 100 percent,” Trump said, endorsing calls to jail his political opponent.

Actually, porn actor Stormy Daniels maintains that she had sex with Donald Trump in 2006. Daniels said a letter she signed under pressure in 2018, claiming the affair “never happened,” was a “lie.” But some conservatives are misleadingly citing that letter as proof that Trump and Daniels were never intimate and she was not paid “hush money.”

Before his death at the age of 76 on March 14, 2018, Stephen Hawking was generally considered one of the smartest people on Earth. He was a world-famous theoretical physicist and cosmologist who received many honors for his work in the field of cosmology, quantum physics, black holes, and the nature of spacetime.
So, when Hawking said that God didn't exist and added the sentence "I am an atheist” to that statement, the world took notice.

So essentially Double_R thinks like Stephen Hawking and Greyparrot thinks like Joel Osteen.

XTC’s Dear god,

Dear God, hope you got the letter, and
I pray you can make it better down here
I don't mean a big reduction in the price of beer
But all the people that you made in your image
See them starving on their feet
'Cause they don't get enough to eat from GodI can't believe in you
Dear God, sorry to disturb you, but
I feel that I should be heard loud and clear
We all need a big reduction in amount of tears
And all the people that you made in your own image
See them fighting in the street
'Cause they can't make opinions meet about God
I can't believe in you
Did you make disease and the diamond blue?
Did you make mankind after we made you?
And the devil, too?Dear God, don't know if you noticed, but
Your name is on a lot of quotes in this book
And us crazy humans wrote it, you should take a look
And all the people that you made in your own image
Still believing that junk is true
Well, I know it and so do you, Dear GodI can't believe in
I don't believe in
I won't believe in Heaven and Hell
No saints, no sinners, no devil as well
No pearly gates, no thorny crown
You're always letting us humans down
The wars you bring, the babes you drown
Those lost at sea and never found And it's the same the whole world 'round
The hurt I see helps to compound
The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
Is just somebody's unholy hoax
And if you're up there, you'll perceive
That my heart's here upon my sleeve
If there's one thing I don't believe in It's you, Dear God

A new study of sleep, religious affiliation, and perceptions of heaven found that atheists and agnostics are significantly more likely to be better sleepers than Catholics and Baptists. Preliminary results show that 73% of atheists and agnostics reported getting seven or more hours of nightly sleep, which is recommended by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine to promote optimal health. In contrast, 63% of Catholics and only 55% of Baptists reported sleeping at least seven hours per night. Atheists and agnostics also reported experiencing less difficulty falling asleep.

When I worked at a research facility, my boss said that he would only hire PhD's who were Atheists because they had superior reasoning ability.

Scientists differ on the degree to which fish can have consciousness. Some researchers argue that they cannot have consciousness as their brain is simple, lacking a cerebral cortex, and they have little capacity for learning and memory, a very simple behavioural repertoire and no ability to experience suffering. Others contest this view, pointing out that, despite the small size of the fish brain, detailed morphological and behavioural analyses have highlighted homologies between some of their brain structures and those seen in other vertebrates, such as the hippocampus (linked to learning and spatial memory) and the amygdala (linked to emotions) of mammals.

Proving Atheists Wrong.

@ADreamOfLiberty
Alright, what about light implies time travel (effect preceding cause)?
   A spacetime diagram showing that moving faster than light implies time travel in the context of special relativity. A spaceship departs from Earth from A to C slower than ght. At B, Earth emits a tachyon, particle that travels faster than light but forward in time in Earth's reference frame. It reaches the spaceship at C. The spaceship then sends another tachyon back to Earth from C to D. This tachyon also travels forward in time in the spaceship's reference frame. This effectively allows Earth to send a signal from B to D, back in time. A longer explanation can be seen at: https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/13001/does-superluminal-travel-imply-travelling-back-in-time/615079#615079.

Why I don't understand the left with abortion
-->
@TheUnderdog

Clearly, life begins when you draw your first breath. That is when God places your soul in your body. Your soul enters your body with your first breath and it leaves with your last. The body is just a vessel — your being, your humanity, is your immortal soul. That's what the Bible says, and for the life of me I cannot understand why so many people, especially supposedly religious people, get this wrong. There is no question, no moral ambiguity. Abortion destroys an empty vessel, it does not kill a human being. That is not to say that a fetus isn't alive, because it clearly is. So is a cow, or an earthworm, or a tree. However, simply being alive does not make something a human being. Having a soul is what sets us apart from other living things. Otherwise, every farmer and every lumberjack would be a murderer. And so would all of the rest of us who eat living things. Even the hardcore vegans would be murderers since they eat plants and plants are alive too.

Yes, the ARC triangle is a fundamental cornerstone of Scientology philosophy. Represented by one of the two interlocked triangles in the Scientology symbol, L. Ron Hubbard devised the relationship between affinity, reality and communication very early on in the days of the Dianetics boom of 1950. It became one of the most easily explained and talked about principles of Dianetics and Scientology and is cited extensively throughout Hubbard’s counselling techniques. It’s so convincing, that even years after leaving Scientology, former members swear by its accuracy and workability.
