In a Feb. 17 meeting in the Oval Office, Biden met with nine labor leaders in the Oval Office to discuss his coronavirus relief package and infrastructure plans. McManus, was one of those leaders.
"I brought up natural gas specifically to him, we spoke about pipelines ... and he says, 'I'm all for natural gas,'" McManus told E&E News of the meeting in a story published in March.

Putin's pipeline would supply natural gas from Russia.
Natural gas is a fossil fuel, though the global warming emissions from its combustion are much lower than those from coal or oil. Natural gas emits 50 to 60 percent less carbon dioxide (CO2) when combusted in a new, efficient natural gas power plant compared with emissions from a typical new coal plant .
So you can see why Biden would want it.

Hitler was a humanist. He did not look to the Christian God but fashioned God in his own likeness by borrowing what he wanted to from the Christian religion.
That is true, Hitler believed that Christ was a mixed-blood; he who was born, according to the Führer, from a Roman soldier and a Palestinian prostitute named Mary.

Yes, in the early American colonies, religion was a tool that settlers used to promote a lifestyle that was the opposite of that of the Native Americans. Clergymen depicted Native Americans as infidels who lived savage lifestyles primarily because of their lack of protestant religion. This was not the case, but it was successful in driving settlers towards religion as they came to fear the unknown and the dangers that lay ahead of them on the frontier. Several newspapers even went as far to assert that people settling the new frontier should only live with members of the same religion as they might become corrupted by the savages if they did not.
A death toll of  100 million figure has been documented by the authors D.E. Stannard, author of American Holocaust, D.E. Stannard has said, "The destruction of the Indians of the Americas was, far and away, the most massive act of genocide in the history of the world." . And apparently it didn't take long for the Europeans to get this genocide started.

There has never been a mass organized killing by atheists. The Soviet Union and China substituted worship of divine beings for worship of their dictators, and therefore do not count as atheist. They also didn’t kill even half as many of their own people as is popularly claimed.
Religious people, on the other hand, have been murdering each other and atheists for at least the last 10,000 years, probably longer but we don’t have records going back further. Christianity alone between the crusades, holocaust, conquest of the Americas and genocide of native Americans, the religious wars following the Protestant Reformation, and numerous other conflicts, has killed around 2 billion people in the last 1500 years. Catholics and Protestants didn’t stop killing each other until the Irish Troubles ended in 1999.
All religion is based on lies and has the potential for extreme violence. Humanity would be better off without it.

A study published in the journal Neuropsychologia has shown that religious fundamentalism is, in part, the result of a functional impairment in a brain region known as the prefrontal cortex. The findings suggest that damage to particular areas of the prefrontal cortex indirectly promotes religious fundamentalism by diminishing cognitive flexibility and openness—a psychology term that describes a personality trait which involves dimensions like curiosity, creativity, and open-mindedness.

@Benjamin
There is no scientific evidence indicating that God exists. We all know that. For example:
  • God has never left any physical evidence of his existence on earth.
  • None of Jesus' "miracles" left any physical evidence either.
  • God has never spoken to modern man, for example by taking over all the television stations and broadcasting a rational message to everyone.
  • The resurrected Jesus has never appeared to anyone.
  • The Bible we have is provably incorrect and is obviously the work of primitive men rather than God.
  • When we analyze prayer with statistics, we find no evidence that God is "answering prayers."
  • Huge, amazing atrocities like the Holocaust and AIDS occur without any response from God.
As Albert Einstein once said,  “The word 'God' is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation, no matter how subtle, can (for me) change this.”

@janesix
A magnetic compass points to the earth's magnetic poles, which are not the same as earth's geographic poles. Furthermore, the magnetic pole near earth's geographic north pole is actually the south magnetic pole. When it comes to magnets, opposites attract. This fact means that the north end of a magnet in a compass is attracted to the south magnetic pole, which lies close to the geographic north pole. Magnetic field lines outside of a permanent magnet always run from the north magnetic pole to the south magnetic pole. Therefore, the magnetic field lines of the earth run from the southern geographic hemisphere towards the northern geographic hemisphere.

I assume you are talking about the claim that was made by George Papadopoulos, an adviser in Trump’s 2016 campaign who erved 12 days in prison for lying about his attemps to allegedly connect other campaign staff with officials representing Russia. He was pardoned by Trump near the end of Trump’s term as president.
In an April 12, 2021 tweet, widely ahared on Facebook, Papadopoulos stated:
"Biden is now withholding $150 million in aid from Ukraine as tensions with Russia grow. I mentioned this a couple weeks ago. He wants to pressure Ukraine to drop all criminal investigations into him and his son, Hunter. Where’s the media on this extortion attempt?"
The Facebook post was flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed.
There is no evidence Ukraine is conducting criminal investigations of the president or his son.
Federal law puts restriction on aid.
Congress approved and President Trump signed a bill appropriating $275 million for what is known as the Ukraine
Security Assistance Initiative. The secretary of defense can use the money to provide assistance, such as training and intelligence support, as well as weapons to Ukraine.
In March, the Defense Department announced  it was releasing $125 million of the aid in training, equipment and advisory efforts as part of the U.S. commitment to provide "defensive lethal weapons to enable Ukraine to more effectively defend itself against Russian aggression."
The remaining $150 million will be provided when the Defense Department "certifies that Ukraine has made sufficient progress on key defense reforms this year, as required by the National Defense Authorization Act," the announcement said.
"The Department encourages Ukraine to continue to enact reforms that strengthen civilian control of the military, promote increased transparency and accountability in defense industry and procurement, and modernize its defense sector in other key areas in line with NATO principles and standards."

Also on the final exam, we engineers scored in the 90th percentile and the pre-med students in the class all scored in the 30th percentile. The grades were curved so that we engineers received an A and the low scoring med students all got B's. We engineers were invited to attend this medical school after our graduation as a part of a special research project. I had no interest.

While acknowledging that the development of the fetus is complex, especially after 26 weeks gestation, considerable development is still to occur, even after birth. The fetal pain literature is criticised for tending to exaggerate fetal development. Finally, the difficulty of explaining the subjectivity of pain in materialist terms is discussed. Pain is suggested to arise with development of the necessary neurological, cognitive and emotional structures. Pain experience is placed at approximately 12 months of age, though this is within the context of a continuum of awareness rather than a straight ‘on‐off’ switch. The major moral implication of this stance is to place the burden of proof for analgesic use onto clinical measures, rather than relying upon the, so far, poorly supported assumption of pain awareness.

Your reference does not state what you said.
Summary
The implications for clinical practice of the neurobiological evidence presented in section 2
have been considered. Interpretation of existing data suggests that cortical processing and
therefore fetal perception of pain cannot occur before 24 weeks of gestation. It is reasonable
to infer from this that the fetus does not require analgesia for interventions occurring before
24 weeks of gestation. Diagnostic or therapeutic procedures that involve the fetus directly are
very uncommon but do occur and can be associated with a stress response. However, this does
not indicate that the fetus is aware or can feel pain. The case for administering analgesia before
an invasive procedure (in addition to maternal general anaesthesia) after 24 weeks when
the neuroanatomical connections are in place, needs to be considered together with the practicalities
and risks of administration of fetal analgesia in continuing pregnancies and the
uncertainties over long-term effects. Evidence that analgesia confers any benefit on the fetus
at any gestation is lacking but should be a focus of future research that will need to include
medium and longer-term as well as immediate outcomes. However, the need for maternal sedation
before fetal interventions such as transfusion or feticide is still recognised, as it provides
both maternal and procedural benefits.

They key point is:
"However, this does
not indicate that the fetus is aware or can feel pain."

A fetus cannot feel pain, they are ony reacting to stimuli.  A heel prick from a needle used for amniocentesis, for example, can result in the fetus recoiling, much as an adult would to a painful pinprick.
Studies have shown, however, that the recoil is more of a reflex controlled by the “lower brain” (which is involved with more base functions like breathing than with consciousness) or the spinal cord and does not necessarily reflect an experience of pain. In fact, the same response can be seen in anencephalic infants, who are born missing large parts of the brain. As the JAMA review explains: “[F]lexion withdrawal from tactile stimuli is a noncortical spinal reflex exhibited by infants with anencephaly and by individuals in a persistent vegetative state who lack cortical function.”
Put another way, the experience of pain is different from what is known as nociception. Nociception refers to the body’s ability to perceive harm — this can be achieved below the level of consciousness, as with reflexes. A paper published in 2001 in the journal Bioethics explains the difference: “[W]hile nociception is neural activity, pain is an unpleasant feeling. It follows that while pain requires some level of consciousness, nociception does not.”

Neither the Mexicans nor the indigenous tribes declared sovereignty of any portion of North America above the northern Mexico border
Not true, The Constitution of 1824 officially established the United Mexican States. This included 525,000 square miles in North America, including the land that makes up all or parts of present-day Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. The Mexican–American War (1846–48) took this territory from Mexico. Hopefully Palestine will learn something from this.

Starting with the Bible and supported by archeological findings, it is clear that Palestine was occupied by non-Jewish Semites long before the Jews claimed the "Promised Land," and long after. There is not even evidence that there were twelve tribes of Israel who occupy the land claimed by modern Israel. The book of Joshua is full of bloody gore on how God delivered on his promise, but there are no sources outside the Bible that verify that the whole of Palestine was conquered and occupied by Jews.
If the Book of Joshua is to believed, then it means that justification for a Jewish homeland is based on land taken by war 3,300 years ago and lost by war 2600 years ago. By that logic, Americans should give the southwest territory back to the Mexicans and the rest to the nation back to the Indians.

Because it did not happen: the story is a myth.
There are no eyewitness accounts of the times of Jesus for obvious reasons.
The gospels are not eyewitness accounts. They were written decades after the alleged Christ and were written by ghost writers from oral tradition, (legends).
Claims that others i.e. Josephus testifies about Jesus are a desperate reach for validation. Josephus was not a contemporary of Jesus; he never met Jesus.

The green new deal

4. The GND ignores that even green-energy turbine [hydro, geo-thermal, tidal, wind, plus solar panels, plus electric vehicles] use fossil fuel products [oil] to lubricate the moving parts, and fabricate all plastic parts, and all of them would literally seize if fossil fuels were to be eliminated, because nobody has yet invented AlGoreGooeyJuice.

Vegetable oils can and have been used as lubricants in their natural forms. They have several advantages and disadvantages when considered for industrial and machinery lubrication. On the positive side, vegetable oils can have excellent lubricity, far superior than that of mineral oil.
Lubricity is so potent that in some applications, such as tractor transmissions, friction materials need to be added to reduce clutch slippage. Some crude vegetable oils tested at UNI-ABIL have passed hydraulic pump/wear tests, such as ASTM D2882 and ASTM D2271, in their natural form.
Vegetable oils also have a very high Viscosity Index (VI); for example, 223 for soybean oil vs. 90 to 100 for most petroleum oils. Restated, the viscosity of a high VI oil changes less than that of a low VI oil for a given temperature change. The oil’s viscosity does not reduce as much when exposed to high temperatures, and does not increase as much as petroleum oils when exposed to cool temperatures.
Another important property of vegetable oils is their high flash/fire points; 610°F (326°C) is the flash point of soybean oil compared to a flash point of approximately 392°F (200°C) for mineral oils.

Most importantly, vegetable oils are biodegradable, in general are less toxic, are renewable and reduce dependency on imported petroleum oils. Additionally, using lubricants and greases made of soybean oil helps reduce soybean surpluses and helps stabilize soy prices for American farmers. For most industrial machinery users these products offer considerable public relations benefits and goodwill within the agricultural community.
UNI-ABIL has licensed 16 formulated lubricants, greases and base oils made of high oleic soybeans that have been genetically enhanced for stability. These products meet and exceed industry requirements, and many do not cost much more than their petroleum counterparts. If these products can compete in performance and price, their environmental benefits will make them even more appealing to users.
Products currently available from soybean oils include: tractor transmission hydraulic fluid, industrial hydraulic fluids for process and machinery applications, food-grade hydraulic fluids and greases, greases for use in automotive, railroad and machinery applications, chainsaw bar oil, gear lubes, compressor oil, and transformer and transmission line cooling fluids. Currently, field tests are continuing on two-cycle engine oils, metalworking fluids and other specialty lubricants.

Melania Trump previously said that she graduated from college in Slovenia with a degree in architecture and design. However, this was proven to be a lie.
The FLOTUS also claimed that she studied at a university in Slovenia, and sources revealed that this may not necessarily be the case either.
In the book “Melania Trump: My World,” Donald Trump’s wife’s brief biography reveals that she studied at the University of Slovenia. After her graduation, she started pursuing her modeling career in different parts of the world.
But according to Snopes, there is no such thing as the University of Slovenia or University in Slovenia. Slovenia is home to a slew of other colleges, including the University of Ljubljana, which other publications claimed was Melania’s school.

CBS News reportedly looked into the school’s list of graduates, and they found out that the FLOTUS had not made it to her graduation day. After she was busted for lying, the first lady’s bio page on her husband’s government website claimed that she paused her studies to advance her modeling career in Milan and Paris.
Blaz Matija Vogelnik, Melania’s former professor, also said that the FLOTUS did not graduate from the University of Ljubljana.

In May 2017, President Trump, Melania Trump, and Ivanka Trump visited Pope Francis in Rome. A news clip captured the Pope asking the first lady in Italian what she feeds her husband.
Melania Trump did not appear to understand the question until a translator repeated it in English. The video was posted by Inside Edition.
During the same trip, Melania Trump visited a children's hospital but did not speak Italian aside from rudimentary phrases, while speaking in English with the children for the rest of the time.
Even when she said some Italian phrases, she employed the incorrect conjugation. The video was posted by Rome Reports.
Also, when President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump visited France, a video of the event was posted by The Telegraph, and it was captioned "Melania Trump speaks French" but it did not capture her saying much more than "Hello" and the phrase "My name is Melania" in French.
There are no videos of her speaking German. She attended the G20 summit dinner in 2017, and she talked to Russian President Vladimir Putin, who can speak English and German, but it was not reported what language they used while conversing.
According to AMERICAblog Editor John Aravosis, who is also multilingual, if Melania Trump is really distinctive among all the U.S first ladies with her fluency in multiple languages, she would at least demonstrate her skill by briefly engaging locals in conversations in their native languages when she went to Europe with the President, but she didn't.

Yes, lately, strong research suggests that an incorrect amount of miss-timed secretion of male hormone during stages of fetal development may create a transgendered individual - whether male or female. Biologically, nature will produce a female unless male androgens are supplied at the right times and in the right amounts. There are physiological and mental gray areas between male and female "absolutes". Additionally, there are some theories arguing a genetic model of causality.
Dr. Norman P. Spack, the co-founder of the Gender Management Services Program, a clinic that provides treatments to delay puberty in children questioning their gender, feels that we should look at a transgender identity as a medical condition, not as a psychiatric disorder.
As he explained during a Harvard Transgender Awareness Week event, "These people aren't crazy. It's a medical condition."
