Well, Ishmael was born and brought up in Abraham's household. Some 13 years later, however, Sarah conceived Isaac, with whom God established his covenant. Isaac became Abraham's sole heir, and Ishmael and Hagar were banished to the desert, though God promised that Ishmael would raise up a great nation of his own.

Yes, the Republican party, known for its strong stance against drag queens, is being represented by a candidate who wears more orange makeup than any drag queen and a vice-presidential candidate known for his heavy use of eyeliner. This raises an interesting question: If someone paints their face for a performance and dances, does that qualify as drag? Trump is known for his heavily made-up appearance and his dancing at rallies, sometimes to the Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.” So, could Trump be considered a drag queen?

Donald Trump - king of budget deficit
-->
@Best.Korea

Remember that when we had a similar National Debt after WWII, the last smart Republican President raised the top tax rate to 90 percent.
Eisenhower explained it this way: The super rich could avoid the high taxes by investing their money in things that make America stronger. If they wanted to avoid high taxes, he said they could invest in business expansions and higher employee wages. They could give a million or two to tax-exempt non-profits that feed, house and clothe poor people of America, among other things.

103 Earthquakes in One Week in West Texas
From the first large quake of magnitude 4.9, the county has experienced a total of 103 earthquakes, including 12 of magnitude three or more, said Justin Rubinstein, a geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, California.
The rash of earthquakes is not naturally occurring, as Texas, in general, is not a very seismically active part of the country. Instead, it is"almost 99% likely" to be linked to local oil fields, Rubinstein said.
“We can say with confidence that these are related to oil and gas extractions," he said.
The temblors are very likely linked to new forms of oil and natural gas drilling technology that allow companies to drill not just down into the earth but horizontally along an oil formation.
They are reaching deeply buried oil and natural gas deposits that are the decomposed remnants of plants and animals in ancient oceans. When the oil comes up, the salt water, which can be millions of years old, also comes up.

"Weird" take by the establishment elites.

Most of the religion references in Project 2025 concern the access of religious organizations to government funding without having government regulations attached. If enacted, these proposals would upend long-standing church-state protections that bar direct taxpayer funding of religious organizations without significant safeguards in place.

Yes, that was from the mid 1800's. THE CORPUS OF SUPREME COURT OPINIONS FROM 1850-1880 CONFIRMS THAT AN UNBORN CHILD IS A PERSON WITHIN THE MEANING OF THE FOURTEENTH AMENDMENT TO THE U.S. CONSTITUTION.

I would in general say my comments are probably true because one of the indicators of intelligence is the ability to formulate thoughtful questions and religion is full of glaring contradictions and inconsistencies and a defiant attitude towards reconciling those questions.

Who has a higher IQ, Pastor Jim Bakker or Albert Einstein? Remember that Einstein in 1954 said:
'The word God is for me nothing but the expression and product of human weaknesses,' Einstein wrote to Gutkind, 'the Bible a collection of venerable but still rather primitive legends. No interpretation, no matter how subtle, can (for me) change anything about this. '

Researcher Helmuth Nyborg and Richard Lynn, emeritus professor of psychology at the University of Ulster, compared belief in God and IQs. Using data from a U.S. study of 6,825 adolescents, the authors found that the average IQ of atheists was 6 points higher than the average IQ of non-atheists.

@ADreamOfLiberty

The prevailing scientific hypothesis is that the transition from non-living to living entities on Earth was not a single event, but a process of increasing complexity involving the formation of a habitable planet, the prebiotic synthesis of organic molecules, molecular self-replication, self-assembly, autocatalysis and the emergence of cell membranes. But you think God did it 6000 years ago, right?

Vance's opposition to affirming one's identity is complicated by his decision to change his name, not once, but twice. He was born James Donald Bowman and took the surname Hamel from his stepfather before finally choosing the name Vance to honor his grandmother, The New York Times reports.

Trump doesn't want a secure border. Remember that Donald Trump urged Republicans  to reject a bipartisan Senate deal trading tough new border security measures. He is a low intellect conman. The only people stupider are his supporters.

In a 2000 book, Mr. Trump suggested, for people under 40, raising the age for receiving full Social Security retirement benefits to 70. Before that, he said he was open to the idea of privatizing the program, even if he did not like the concept.

@IwantRooseveltagain
In an ad from Priorities USA Action, parents of a disabled child said Trump "mocked" a disabled reporter at a campaign rally. Trump did mimic the man’s oddly angled right hand while flailing his arms and shouting in a strange voice. Disabled people and advocates said the candidate clearly was mocking him.
Trump’s excuses for his comments are at odds with the evidence. Trump said he didn’t remember the man so he couldn’t know he was handicapped. But Kovaleski said he and Trump knew each other well because the reporter regularly covered the New York businessman for years. Archived reports support that.
Trump also talked about the reporter with familiarity as a "nice reporter" and a "poor guy" who "you gotta see."
PolitiFact says, Trump’s denials that he did not mock -- or even know -- the disabled reporter don’t add up. We rate the ad’s claim True.

Yes, he was a registered Democrat at one time but he switched parties because he knew that only Hillbilly's would vote for him.
Trump was registered as a Democrat for more than eight years in the 2000s, according to New York City voter records made public during his 2016 campaign for president.

Andrew Jackson (1829-1837) was a risk-taker president who was very good at drawing crowds and well liked by much of the public.
A polarizing figure, Jackson waged a political battle against the Second Bank of the United States, a private company which operated as virtually a government-sponsored monopoly. He also pushed for the forcible removal of Native Americans, resulting in thousands of deaths. The American electorate handed him a huge victory for his second term.
