Why nobody is pro democracy

What is the best way for China to be the World Leader? Get the USA to elect a downright moron as President and a foreign sex worker as First Lady.

I had an out-of-body experience when I took MDMA in college. This shows that NDE's are just chemical reactions in the brain.

Teaching about evil without teaching why it is evil

The oldest ever man to father a child was reportedly Les Colley (1898 - 1998, Australia), who had his ninth child a son named Oswald to his third wife at the age of 92 years 10 months. Colley met Oswald's Fijian mother in 1991 through a dating agency at the age of 90.

Remember that Trump will be bankrupting SS and Medicare by giving tax breaks to the rich.
Shouldn't the top tax rate be 90 percent like Eisenhower had to pay of the same percentage National Debt that we have now ?

It seems most likely that these people who claim to speak in tongues are just speaking gibberish. They’re definitely having a genuine religious experience, but that doesn’t mean said experience is rooted in reality. It’s a psychological phenomenon.

The fact that humans use multiple languages shows that there is no afterlife.

How do you make a dog smile? Tried-and-tested tricks include a nice, stinky chew or a soft, cozy bed—but dogs like the simple things, too. Just say “who’s a good boy?!” and watch the reaction.

"We're Going After Criminals"
Jesus’ message about immigrants is rooted in compassion, empathy, and action. Through key teachings and parables—like the story of the Good Samaritan and the words in Matthew 25—Jesus consistently calls His followers to welcome and care for the stranger. His message is not vague or abstract; it’s deeply practical, urging believers to see every person, especially the outsider, as worthy of love and dignity. These teachings challenge Christians to view immigrants not through the lens of politics, but through the lens of grace, reminding us that when we care for the vulnerable, we are, in fact, serving Christ Himself.
What’s more, Jesus’ message echoes the Old Testament command to love and protect the foreigner, rooted in Israel’s own history as immigrants in Egypt. From the Golden Rule to the command to love our neighbor as ourselves, Scripture paints a consistent picture: love knows no borders. But understanding this call is only the beginning. Keep reading for a deeper dive into how Jesus’ words can shape not just our beliefs, but our actions—right here, right now.

Modern music is shit
This is from reddit:
I'm a fan of classical music mostly but I like some classic rock that I grew up listening to and even some 80s stuff for nostalgia. But modern music, essentially from the mid-90s forward, is total garbage. Every single song is some auto tuned bullshit with computerized instruments or usually no real instruments at all. It feels like 80% of the stuff made now is some form of rap/hip hop/some other ghetto style. Hardly any of the big names have actual nice voices or sing well, it mostly just sounds like wailing into a microphone. The songs that are being written for today's "artists" are so simple and stupid that I can't imagine how anyone likes them.
I see no redeeming qualities in the music of Beyonce, Kanye, Taylor Swift or any of these other big name musicians. Almost every song I hear sounds like total shit with no melodies.

Buddhism vs Christianity
Buddhism is not a religion in the sense in which that word is commonly understood, for it is not “a system of faith and worship owing any allegiance to a supernatural being.”
Buddhism does not demand blind faith from its adherents. Here mere belief is dethroned and is substituted by confidence based on knowledge, which, in Pali, is known as saddha. The confidence placed by a follower on the Buddha is like that of a sick person in a noted physician, or a student in his teacher. A Buddhist seeks refuge in the Buddha because it was he who discovered the path of deliverance.
A Buddhist does not seek refuge in the Buddha with the hope that he will be saved by his (i.e. the Buddha’s own) personal purification. The Buddha gives no such guarantee. It is not within the power of a Buddha to wash away the impurities of others. One could neither purify nor defile another. The Buddha, as teacher, instructs us, but we ourselves are directly responsible for our purification. Although a Buddhist seeks refuge in the Buddha, he does not make any self-surrender. Nor does a Buddhist sacrifice his freedom of thought by becoming a follower of the Buddha. He can exercise his own free will and develop his knowledge even to the extent of becoming a Buddha himself.
The starting point of Buddhism is reasoning or understanding, or, in the Pali words, samma-ditthi.

Buddhism vs Christianity

In his book The God Delusion, Dawkins argued that religious faith is “persistent false belief held in the face of strong contradictory evidence”, and thus delusional.

"We're Going After Criminals"
Without immigration, the U.S. population will shrink starting in 2033 in part “because fertility rates are projected to remain too low for a generation to replace itself,” the Congressional Budget Office said.
The reduced projections from last year were the results of a decline in projected fertility rates over 30 years from 1.70 births per woman to 1.60 births per woman and less immigration because of an executive order last June that temporarily suspends asylum processing at the border when U.S. officials deem they are overwhelmed, the budget office said. Replacement happens at a rate of 2.1 births per woman.

Are pro-illegal immigration still pretending they don't support slave labor?
While an established state church isn’t a main threat nearly 400 years later, some of the Pilgrims’ concerns still haunt many Americans. Like those English colonists preparing to set foot on North American soil, we remain afraid of those we perceive as different than us–culturally, racially, ethnically, and the like. But the tables are turned. We are now the ones striving to protect ourselves from a stream of illegal and “undocumented” immigrants attempting to pursue their dreams in a new land. Our primary method of protection? Separatism. Like the Pilgrims we often remain unwilling to welcome those we define as different. We’ll look to them for assistance when necessary, rely on their labor when convenient, take advantage of their needs when possible, but we won’t welcome them as neighbors and equals in any real sense nor do we seek to provide reconciliation and redemption to people eager to embrace the potential future they see among us.

Tao is very incorrect religion

Taoism specifies no belief in an Almighty God but does assume sentient spiritual beings. It emphasizes right actions but does not proscribe many beliefs.
