What I don't understand about EU Nationalized healthcare

@Best.Korea
Sigmund Freud....

Sigmund Freud's statement "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" is often interpreted to mean that not everything in life has a deeper, hidden meaning or symbolism. It also suggests that people should not always try to look for hidden meanings or subtext in everything, and that sometimes things can be taken at face value.

There's a famous anecdote involving Sigmund Freud and a cigar, which is often recounted to illustrate Freud's theories about psychoanalysis.

Here's the story:
Legend has it that during a lecture, a student asked Freud, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, but why is it that sometimes a cigar is more than just a cigar?" This question was meant to challenge Freud's tendency to interpret everyday objects and actions as symbols of unconscious desires and conflicts.

Freud is said to have chuckled at the question and replied, "My dear colleague, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." This response has been interpreted in various ways. Some see it as Freud acknowledging that not everything has a hidden meaning, and sometimes objects are exactly what you expect them to be.

The point is, kids don't even know what to be "straight" means. They only know it's a bad thing because there's no reward for it.

You can argue that having food, shelter, and sundries that help mental health like entertainment all fall under "healthcare"

When a country goes full central planning, this is the end goal.

I'd be happy if we returned to a nation that enforces existing laws instead of being a nation that sells exemptions to the highest bidder.

Hey isn't it about time that IWRA or FLRW claims Trump cut taxes for the ultra rich?
It admitted Pelosi, who orchestrates the entire left-tribe show, does not want to tax the rich and wants to keep the current laws allowing insider trading for Congress.

five reasons it's stupid to vote for trump

@n8nrgim
 I think you'd struggle with that assignment, because it's pretty obvious that you lack objectivity. if you want to show you're capable, list five reasons to vote against bidden, and five reasons to vote for trump.

That's really asking way too much for a person of that level.

The level of person who went to college right after high school, was a Captain in the Marines, has been married for over 30 years, raised 2 college educated children, owns 5 houses and is in the top 2 percent of household income?
This sounds like something Biden would say during "Storytime with the POTUS"

Democrats have been promising taxes on the rich and an end to insider trading for longer than Pelosi has walked the Earth.

I already listed 5, but here is a list of 5 reasons to vote for Biden.

1) It will appease the Oligarchs in DC, and there might be less volatility in the economy.
2) He will likely die soon and his replacement will have to negotiate with Congress to get anything done.
3) After he dies, there might be a chance to end all the current foreign wars.
4) A second term might give Biden a reason to get new advisors that might steer him toward better policies for all of America.
5) Biden won't allow the far-left radicals to seize power.

Was Donald J. Trump ever a "racist"?
-->
@Hopey
Whites especially white males are the most hated ethnic group in America right now with Jews a close second. Trump had a lot to do with that because he basically allowed endless attacks on whites with no pushback as it kept him in power. Not one peep during the entire summer of love as whites were hunted for sport and kicked out of their jobs for saying the wrong things. If you think Trump was/is the white version of Malcolm X, you are very mistaken. Trump couldn't care less what happens to white people. Do some people think he does care about white people? Sure, that just makes them stupid, but it doesn't make Trump a racist.

This works because Trump has a superpower no other politician in our lifetime has ever had; he gets to spout completely baseless bullshit and it doesn't hurt him because his supporters don't care about facts and reality. It's all a game.
Trump's superpower is that he is the only person not calling his supporters "deplorable" or "ultra MAGA extremists"

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king, and there are a lot of blind people ignoring half the country in DC.

@n8nrgim
Ok here are my 5 reasons:

1) He is unable to identify corrupt and incompetent members in his own cabinet.
2) He is very divisive in his tone and messaging, often trolling his opponents.
3) He doesn't have a clear plan on how to handle China and the decline of the petrodollar other than to make friends with everyone in the Middle East.
4) He has no national agenda on reversing the economical damage green energy policy has done by wasting trillions in national capitol on unworkable and unsustainable electric technology and he has no plans on redirecting those resources into nuclear energy.
5) He has no way to convince a divided Congress to pass meaningful immigration reform that is not subject to the arbitrary whims of executive orders.

The difference here is not arbitrary. Why do you think 9/11 or the Hamnas attacks drew international anger and condemnation, yet we saw nothing like that when thousands were killed in the earthquake in Haiti or the tsunami in Japan. Why do right wingers care nothing about the guy who was shot and killed in Nashville but the guy who was killed in El Paso by an illegal immigrant becomes a national story?
And who decides what stories the mass media shows? You are right, it is not arbitrary. Very rich people pay a lot of money to manufacture outrage and to make sure the public isn't TOO upset about actual problems that they might be exposed to outside of that well constructed propaganda.

This question is of course, rhetorical. The answer is obvious.
Of course it is. No means no. Everyone has to attend those seminars.

Or you could gaslight people into thinking no actually means yes and see how that goes for them.....

And yet no one attacked the US Capitol on January 6th 2017. How odd
No, the left-tribe violently protested other days, most recently over Joe's Gaza genocide.

This is also why I take such issue with this constant reference to "the left". Right wingers....
You just contradicted yourself in the same sentence. Not all people that were violent on Jan 6 were even Trump supporters, and not all Trump supporters were violent, but don't let that stop you from being hypocritical about mislabeling groups and people in the most demagoguery partisan hack fashion....

but it was approved.

What’s the difference between emergency authorization and full approval?

Way back in January 2020, not knowing the full extent of the threat posed by Covid-19, the Health and Human Services Secretary declared a U.S. public health emergency. This action gave special power to the FDA to authorize medicines, vaccines and tests for use by the American public to fight the virus in an expedited fashion without going through the lengthy full approval process. The amount of data required for what’s known as an emergency use authorization, or an EUA, is at the discretion of the FDA.

The main thing the FDA considers with emergency authorization is, based on the scientific evidence available, that “it’s reasonable to believe that the product may be effective and that the known and potential benefit outweigh the known and potential risks,” explains Nicholson Price, a professor of health law at the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor. The medicine or vaccine also needs to be unique, there can’t be an existing alternative that’s already been approved. For vaccines, manufacturers were required to provide safety data that was “much closer to what a company would need for full approval for the vaccine,” he says. For emergency authorization, the FDA required two months of safety data versus six months for full approval, he explains.

Pfizer/BioNTech received emergency use authorization for its vaccine in December 2020, followed by Moderna a week later and Johnson & Jonson in February 2021. “It's close to incontestable that the EUA process made a huge positive difference in combating COVID-19 at least with respect to vaccines,” says Price. It meant that people could start getting shots in December rather than waiting much longer for full approval. “Those months made a huge difference.”

2 major points to consider,
1) The Coronavirus was way overhyped as a danger to young and skinny people and we now know the FDA and CDC were very wrong in their evaluation.

2) The effectiveness of the vaccine was also way overhyped even going so far as a claim that it prevented the spread of the virus. After millions of vaccinated Americans contracted Covid and every mutated strain, it became very clear the extent of that overhyping.

Lots of kids ain't falling for the bs these days.
The youth are very aware of how current policies are destroying their future success/happiness. They feel they have no future given our current trajectory.....

Illegal migrants vote neither red nor blue. They vote for increased Balkanization, no matter what side offers it. Most liberal culturally diverse cities are expressly subdivided into competing cultural enclaves, and the diverse cultures are even encouraged to do so.  Assimilation is discouraged with the accusation of "cultural appropriation." The more culturally divided a city is, the more violent and oppressed the dwellers are.
