Oh ok, so he is a Nationalist Nazi only when Trump and Russia is involved. That doesn't sound very principled.

I would never have pegged Roose as a passionate nationalist worried about foreign influence. That's pretty brave to endure baseless Nazi slurs for holding dear such a position.

That idiot who stood up and spoke is not only an ignorant waste of space for that room (well there were many empty chairs I guess he didn't waste much) but is almost 100% sure not a genuine left-wing progressive voter.
If I recall, many progressives were against the Iraq war even before it was revealed that the politicians voting for the war lied about the actual threats.
We have known Western Ukraine has been ethnically cleansing the Donbas since 2014 and we also have known since 2014 that Russia wasn't going to allow America to help fund the massacre of 14,000 civilians in the Donbas just so America could secure an energy monopoly in Europe.
That isn't propaganda, it's a matter of recorded history from 8 years ago.
Like I said before, do you really feel virtuous standing shoulder to shoulder with a thoroughly corrupt man like Lindsey Graham and nod vigorously with a grim smile on your face? There's no way I could stand even the smell of the man.

I just find it silly that you are in full agreement with a neo-con like Lindsey Graham.

What's so progressive about being a warhawk?

@RationalMadman
Have you seen the protests of progressives denouncing AOC for being a warhawk?
If I recall, you don't have a strong bias against progressives.

@RationalMadman
Because most of the neo-cons and neo-liberals have to promote anti-nationalism to push their globalist agenda. Why should people care about America when they are taught to hate America?
On top of that, America is funneling Billions of dollars to a nation that has and continues to ethnically cleanse innocent citizens in the Donbas as they have done since 2014 for the crime of being born culturally Russian. All so that America could have a convenient proxy war to funnel taxpayer money through the military industrial complex and back into the pockets of the politicians in charge.

Censorship isn't exclusive to fascism. We literally have Americans voting today to give the government power to censor Americans.

There's a bit of fascism in all of us. It's genetic to have tribal instincts.

It's also really weird that the same people who are worried about Russian influence actually think American Nationalism is worse than Nazism.
Why would these people care about a foreign country meddling in a nation they have zero pride in?
It just makes me think these people are just caught up in the doublethink and the doublespeak because it makes them feel important and accepted.

Clearly trespassing with muddy shoes desecrating the walls is worse than burning to death or falling 500 feet onto stone and concrete.

There's a lot of users on this site fixated on Russia and refuse to talk about the threat of China. It's possible China is trying to manipulate opinions weakening the USA and misdirecting blame to Russia.
I am pretty sure Shila is a Chinese agent.

If you live long enough in the swamp, you get used to it I guess. Even rationalize it.

This is what the term "fake news" actually meant before Trump hijacked it for his own political gain.
How do you feel about Chinese funded companies paying for ad time on news networks? Do you see how bad that could be for American citizens?
We are talking about a hell of a lot more influence than a few million dollars here.
Whatever your sources are feeding you as "misinformation" is likely exactly in line with Chinese interests.
He wants this country to burn
Well I guess that's mission accomplished, But I think he actually wants more than that.

I have to disagree with your opinion that employment rates are more impactful than inflation rates.
Employment rates are extremely misleading as they do not show the actual value of time/money. I think I read somewhere that many authoritarian centrally planned regimes like the old soviet union boasted very low unemployment, but it meant very little value for the average person.
Inflation on the other hand DOES have a concrete value and it's a measurable value directly impacting every person affected.

Oro is a very strong believer in the value of governance by technocratic oligarchs. You won't see any of his opinions sway one inch from that core belief.

Do you want China funding the companies that fund US media? yes or no?
Created:
The media, academia, and corporations are not foreign adversaries. Do you seriously think there is no difference?
Debatable. Many people living in America in academia, and therefore, also the media are in fact, foreign nationals.
Today's companies are also heavily dependent on foreign investors as well. See Nike for example on how it would be motivated to elect a "pro Chinese" president. And let's not even begin to talk about Soros or Gates both of who are heavily influenced by foreign nations.
The meddling of Russia should be the very least of your concerns.
I think I read somewhere that pharmaceutical ads finance up to 70% of most media outlets.... and you are concerned about Russia? Still?
It's like complaining about the song choice while the Titanic goes down...

Do you believe Russia interfered inn the 2016 election? Yes or no?Do you believe it is ok for the US to allow a foreign adversary to interfere in our elections? Yes or No?Somehow I suspect you will avoid answering these questions directly and reply with ones of your usual stupid one liners.
I think you know I have told you before that: yes, Russia spent around 100,000 dollars to influence the 2016 election to try to fight against Hillary's warhawk agenda. Did that make the election illegitimate? I really hope you do not believe that. I think in your reply to Cristo that you probably don't really think that.
Is it OK for the US to allow a foreign adversary to interfere in foreign elections? Of course not, but we also should not allow politicians a blank check to incite countries to interfere with our elections by interfering in theirs. There is a consequence for supporting warhawks like Bush and Hillary, and seemingly now the person controlling the Biden administration....and that consequence is war.

It protects all people from a tyrannical government that would use their power to torture people for confessions like they did in the 1500's.
Guilt or innocence has nothing to do with a tyrannical centralized government.

the same thing we do today in the sense that...
If anything, we are far less egalitarian today than in Jefferson's time. Lobbyists control the outcome of over 90% of all legislation today as our government is controlled by an oligarchy composed of the wealthiest population. At least in Jefferson's time, less wealthy landowners actually had a say.
