Yeah but to get to that emissivity, you would have to move the earth to Venuses orbit so that the 70 degree Celsius (158 degrees Fahrenheit) temperature can start breaking the carbon out of the limestone. Hollywood made billions of dollars debunking this idea of "optimal population of a species based on human whim" with the entire Jurassic park franchise.

So the interesting thing about the reefs is that it assumes 2 things at once with your question.
1. There exists a specific optimal population number for coral reefs.
and
2. There exists a corresponding optimal climate for that optimal population.
If you think about how natural selection works and how populations of life have never been static at any point in Earth history, the absurdity of either of those claims becomes abundantly apparent. We don't really know the optimal population level for any species of life on Earth, including humans, so to speculate that the population level of the coral reef if off is pure speculation as well. Natural selection is the only mechanism to measure sustainable populations, and even then, the optimal population point is forever changing.
In Short, George Carlin said it best.

The Earth has had more CO2 in the atmosphere and has been warmer before (google Permian age). Polarcaps have melted many times.
All of the current doomsaying is pure guesswork and divination since we have no past data to rely on regarding human meddling. But what we do know is that Mega asteroid impacts that drastically changed the Earth's climate in a matter of hours didn't destroy all life, so it's safe to assume the people claiming that a drastic climate change over 150 years could cause the total extinction of life are full of bullshit. Absolutely.
If you still believe that lie, you need to go read some more books on Earth history.
As far as humans go, we survived a great dying due to a drastic climate change shift about 80,000 years ago with zero technology, so there's zero reason to think humans would or could go extinct today.

Why upend it to invite more fraud though? Especially when there's sketchy data on the success rates of catching fraud and convictions. Easy as possible shouldn't mean swiping left on your phone so that the chain of custody of your vote is absolutely non-existent.

The point is there is a limit to how easy you can make voting for people while keeping their vote secure, and what critics don't understand: it's not from the perspective of the vote counter but the vote caster that defines the level of vote security. Elites can scream all day long that the vote is secure, but the voters won't believe it if they can't see what happens to their ballot from start to finish. Most people in a democracy do not trust authority to do the right thing without public pressure.

Filling out a ballot in the privacy of your own home is far less subject to intimidation and voter fraud and computer tracking of mailed ballots is far more secure than hundreds of polling booths with various standards and ethical limits.

Canvassers are literally going door to door handing people the ballots they took (stole?) out of their mailbox and handing the ballots to them at their door asking them to fill them out. That's clearly pressure and a form of intimidation. People have a right to ignore mail in ballots without harassment at their own homes.
No city council selected these people to handle legal documents and harvest ballots.
