Me personally, I don't have much of a personal grudge against the government. In fact, due to the government's incompetence, they paid me an outrageous amount of money to quit my job, and they had no authority to stop me from making 10x my investment in crypto. So I am basically semi-retired due to essentially a government fuckup.
I just feel bad for my neighborhood when people lose their standard of living due to people in DC that don't care about them.

You'd be surprised to know there were less than a hundred actual shootouts in the 1800's despite what Hollywood taught you about American history, but far more were killed by the American cavalry.

It's not even that. It's the idea that dealing with a quirky president is somehow more devastating to a country than, say, double digit inflation.
Or a president in 2014 that ignored Syria and Russia as they made huge land grabs.
The priorities of some people are off the scale as if they have never had a day of actual suffering instead of the apparent manufactured suffering as seems to be the universal case of all TDS "victims."

Maybe you are too busy rewriting history to understand the implications of Putin having been able to celebrate in the streets in response to Obama's failed threats in 2014. The entire reason why there is a situation in the Ukraine right now is a direct result of this historic diplomatic failure of epic proportions.
Like I said before, I would rather have America's enemies laughing at us over them marching troops across allied territory. If they wanna laugh and stay home peacefully, the world will be a much better place for America. Celebrating victories over America isn't the kind of laughter I want to hear.

I have to say I'm pretty enraged at the powers that be for letting something like this happen, especially in an environment with rock bottom interest rates.
The ultra rich have a lot to gain from the destruction of the middle class. It reduces competition and increases their potential market share. All of the policies from QE to opening the border back up to paying people to not work were planned by ultra rich lobbyists. Politicians were just doing as they were told so they could keep their jobs.
Until people get mad at lobbyists in DC, none of this is ever going to change no matter what party is in charge.

For some reason the generic ballot underestimates Republicans in almost every election.
It's a known phenomenon that the polling giants are located in Democrat strongholds so it's hard for them to get accurate samples of polling.
It's also hard for them to word questions in a non-leading way as well.

I don't agree. As Dr. Sowell noted, race baiting is an extremely lucrative career in America and there is no logical reason to think that one jury verdict can change that.
As long as there exists die-hard followers of the religion of racism, there will always be race-baiters looking to make a buck or win public office.
There's no logical reason to expect the usual people won't erect a temple in his honor after his sentence is up.
