Obama was half white. Are you saying Trump is also racist against whites half of the time?
An interesting phenomenon today is that most people who are half white will almost ALWAYS identify as Black because society provides significant advantages to people with Blackish skin at the present. EVERY mixed skin shade person would most certainly identify as white in the Jim Crow era if they could get away with it.
Here is the most famous case of appropriating a protected race.
Identifying as a white today is to invite aggression, regardless of the shade of your skin.

Not even debatable.

Who would have thought that Donald Trump, of all people, would be addressing the fact that the black community suffers the most from a breakdown of law and order? But sanity on racial issues is sufficiently rare that it must be welcomed, from whatever source it comes.
When establishment Republicans have addressed the problems of blacks at all, it has too often been in terms of what earmarked benefits can be offered in exchange for their votes. And there was very little that Republicans could offer to compete with the Democrats’ whole universe of welfare state earmarks.
Law and order, however, is not an earmarked benefit for any special group. It is a policy for all that is especially needed by law-abiding blacks, who are the principal victims of those who are not law-abiding.
Education, another area where something that is needed by all segments of the population, is especially needed by blacks and other low-income minorities. In other words, here again there is no need for a divisive policy of earmarked benefits, in order to attract new voters into a “big tent.”
No matter what policy Republicans follow, they are not going to win a majority of the black votes this year, nor perhaps even this decade.
Nor is that necessary. Just an erosion of the Democrats’ monopoly of the black votes can benefit both Republicans and the black community, who are currently taken for granted by the Democrats. Republicans may also get more white votes if they are no longer seen by some as racists.
Education is a slam dunk issue for Republicans trying to appeal to black parents with school-age children, as distinguished from trying to appeal to all black voters, as if all blacks are the same.
Education is an issue with little, if any, down side for the Republicans, because the teachers’ unions are the single biggest obstacle to black youngsters getting a decent education — and among the biggest donors to the Democrats.
Among the few signs of educational success for low-income minority children in the public schools are the KIPP and Success Academy charter schools. But teachers’ unions are bitterly opposed to increases in the number of such schools, and Democrats do what the teachers’ unions want, because money talks.
As long as blacks vote automatically for Democrats, while the teachers’ unions insist on getting their money’s worth, it is all but inevitable that the education of black children will be sacrificed in the public schools, wherever Democrats are in control.
Republicans have nothing to lose by taking on the teachers’ unions, which donate more than 90 percent of their money to Democrats. Again, Republicans may not win a majority of the votes of even those parents who have children in the public schools. But that is where any inroads into the black vote can begin.

"I've seen no hard evidence that Trump is a racist. And, unfortunately, we’re living in a time where no one expects hard evidence. You just repeat some familiar words and people will react pretty much the way Pavlov’s dog was conditioned to react to certain sounds.”

@Unpopular
I still don't see what self hating whites, whoever those people supposedly are, has to do with the checks and balances of the United States government.
Because those who can control the narrative and create evil labels for the groups of people that are in the way of uncontested power will ultimately bypass those checks and balances. The laws mean nothing when the political narrative saps the will of the people to enforce them.
Congress doesn't have to worry about not delivering solutions when the people are too distracted fighting among themselves in the streets.

Many of the self-hating whites are reminiscent of the Jewish collaborators with the Germans thinking it would somehow stave off their own extermination.

@Unpopular
now they're the ones fighting white supremacy,
A white supremacist nation wouldn't allow flag burning minorities to participate in the Olympics.
America is objectively today run by minorities who wield the majority of power collectively, and it's unlikely to change before a massive Balkanization of the nation as has happened every time in history when a nation becomes hyper tribal. Half of the white population actively professes to hate their skin color, but won't actually go any further than that such as give up their property and job to a non-white. It's a sure recipe for Balkanization; especially as the political parties have taken nearly every policy and labeled a religious condemnation to anyone that questions those policies. A regression to a nation of competing tribes is inevitable baring the emergence of a common enemy.

We should probably replace the National Anthem with this.
Then we can come back and complain endlessly how America is an anarchist nation with an anarchist Anthem, if it is still around.

Not really. While I would agree that this is a "step-up" from the previous scheme, as I understand it, this initiative is sanctioned with Federal Funds, which will inevitably create a Federal criterion which all schooling options must meet.
Just like a Casino, Washington DC never loses.

I think it's implied when I say the vast majority of rich Whites oppose school choice I also mean to say the vast majority of rich White Democrats.
And of course, it's the rich that actually dictate political policies.

I don’t think I could put into words how in favor of it I am. It’s probably my #2 issue right now and I really hope that the next republican president does something with school choice. I’m extremely biased on this topic because I know that 1) I want to have as many kids as I can afford and 2) they will not be attending public schools.
The simple fact that the vast majority of poor Blacks want school choice while the vast Majority of rich Whites oppose it is enough for me to support it.

Capitalism also rewards people who invest in themselves to make their labor more valuable. It might take you 241 hours to fix your computer, but someone who spent 6 months previously studying how to do it could do it in one hour, capitalizing on the investment they made in themselves to be better than you are at fixing computers in general. What this creates and encourages is a diverse workforce of specialists who have invested in themselves to produce just a few things efficiently, but collectively they all produce efficiently.
People who refuse to invest in themselves typically desire a communist society so that their shitty labor output will be the same value as one who took time to invest in a specialization.

Most of them don't even read the laws they sign because they are too busy reading the checks given to them by the lobbyists.

I'm just pointing out the irony of using the products of capitalism to criticize capitalism.

The rich have been getting richer for many years at the expensive of;1} poor and middle class,2} the ecological environment that sustains humanity on Earth.
The Highest GINI inequality scores among all the states in America measuring the gap between the rich and the poor are split between California and New York.
This is because the rich in those states own Politicians as capital to a high degree. California in particular has some of the worst air quality as a direct result of poor forest management under the control of those purchased politicians.
Purchasing politicians isn't a core function of Capitalism. The Rich can purchase politicians under any system if they can get away with it.

Did you get to choose what electronic device to own to type that claim or were you forced to create your own device?
I find it ironic and silly that anti-capitalists use high technology that they personally own to explain why the means of owning said high technology is bad.
Many of the anti-capitalistic arguments seem similar to the philosophy of a Luddite, wishing for a time where nearly all of the purchasing choices and the responsibilities that accompanied those choices were extremely limited.

Imagine zoning regulations and the scarcity of productive development affecting the value of a minor quantity of land.
Land wouldn't be valuable if you could just build a house or a factory anywhere you wanted to.
There exists beautiful land all over the world with much more picturesque beaches and perfect weather that you could buy for a few dollars per square foot. There just isn't any economic development anywhere nearby. The idea that people mainly choose to pay alot to just live in a pretty place is the most fucking ridiculous idea ever.

example of a constitutionally guaranteed right
Non-citizens and dead people don't have that right, The only way to ensure a citizen's vote won't be nullified by a non-citizen is through election safeguards and ensuring election integrity.
This is the reason why a majority of Minorities and Democrats want ID. To make sure their vote counts. Opposing ID or an equivalent form of election integrity is not only subverting Democracy and the will of the people, it is also unfairly suppressing the very minorities that overwhelmingly demand voter ID.
Americans have a right to fair and secure elections and elections that are free to Americans only.
