In April 1975, the Khmer Rouge overtook Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, toppling a U.S.-backed, right-wing government. The insurgents were driven by Marxist ideology and their army was led by a man called Pol Pot, who had earlier lived in France and became a member of the communist party there. Upon returning to his homeland, he quickly rose up the ranks of the country’s clandestine communist movement.
When the Khmer Rouge took power in 1975 (known in the country as Year Zero), millions were immediately sent to work in labor camps in the countryside, on the idea that this was a step toward the creation of an agrarian utopia. Mass killings primarily targeted the middle class and intellectuals — such as doctors, lawyers, journalists, artists and students — as well as ethnic Vietnamese and Cham Muslims. Private property, money, religion and traditional culture were abolished, and the country became known as Democratic Kampuchea.
The death toll during that period wiped out up to one fifth of Cambodia’s population at the time.

Khmer Rouge was far more brutal than the KKK and killed many more under Marxism.

Not a single politician involved in undermining the authority of the presidency lost their job over the last 4 years. The message is VERY clear. If you want to keep your job in Washington DC, stop trying to fix problems and start pointing fingers.
I guarantee if I was a Washington DC politician and I wanted your vote, I would be pointing my finger exactly where your focus group told me to.

You can't ban the laundering of money to crony politicians. Take Hunter Biden as a glaring example of how easy it is to launder money amidst all the "bans"

There was some talk about herd immunity last summer and some discussion about whether you could catch and transmit Covid once you already fought it off and recovered. Doctors were saying from all circles that even though you were immune to the effects of Covid, you could still carry it and pass it on to others. The same is most obviously true regarding vaccinated people, but people would rather listen to political scientists than actual science.
Scientists are frantically sounding the alarms about the asymptomatic spread of Covid, but politicians won't have any of it.

Vaccines are not 100%, so they will still carry and pass the virus on to others.
Vaccines are only needed to protect those who can't do it naturally. The virus is always going to be here regardless.
That's why the statement saying healthy young people need to get vaccinated to protect the elderly is pure bullshit propaganda.
Also saying schools can't reopen until all kids get vaccinated is pure bullshit propaganda of the most insidious kind.

There used to be a social consequence for disrespecting elders, namely, the denial of collaborative participation where the rude person isn't allowed to learn from their elders. Today there are no consequences for bad behavior.

You are correct, but moving on does allow people to make relevant personal risk/reward calculations. And now that we have a vaccine to protect the at-risk people, there is no need for the status quo beyond naked plays for power. Viruses will always be with us. Shitty politicians don't have to be.

Banning political opposition isn't helping those states either in serving the interests of their public. Aren't both New York and California governors about to get banned by the voters? That news will probably get banned too in social media for the good of people who really know what is best.
Scientists who are not properly woke or who might challenge political power will be banned as a matter of course before someone gets any funny ideas about who is in charge and why they are in charge.
