Most reliable sources on Slavery says it was a mixed bag. Slaves were very expensive. Maltreatment wasn't something owners could afford, so starving their slaves to death would be like starving their working livestock (horses and cows and oxen) to death. Similarly, punishing them to the point where it affected their work output was the exception, not the rule. The worst cases of punishment usually revolved around escape attempts. Much of the worst punishments actually came from the slaves themselves that the owners appointed to do so.

Have you ever stayed at a retirement home for any extended length of time? It's fucking depressing. Everyone is just waiting around to die. Mostly alone and in a lot of pain. Think about this for a second...if we allow Dani to live, then the potato MUST go to a townie. We know she is not pgo so someone could watch her and confirm a townie maybe.

I wanna know why Dani lied about PGO now.

He apologized for doing it, but said it was his first time making a game around this role, and wanted to maintain balance thinking it was way too powerful to apply to 2 people, which is why he felt it necessary to change it up. I told him I understood and decided to try and use it to either score with Dani who usually dies NP1 or try to see if Dani's explanation of the role matched up with the list. I did not anticipate MOD updating the role list, which kinda leaves me hanging as to why I demanded you guys wait on Dani.

I said "I might have to disclose some stuff" meant I would have to explain why I lied about Mason due to the change, but then I decided to wait till the next day and get Dani's reaction and see if it lined up with the role list. I didn't expect the Mod to update the list.

Post 403 is about the time where mod changed the mechanics on the hot potato to not protect me.

Originally he said I was protected with the bomb on NP1 but then decided to change that after I fake claimed mason.

Also, the mod just confirmed to me via PM that he updated his role list to reflect the current status and mechanics of the role. So you guys know the mechanic now, and it doesn't matter anymore what Dani has to say. I won't get any analysis from it now.

I lied because the mod had an original plan on how the potato worked, then suddenly decided to change the rule because he thought it was too powerful for town.

But he changed the rule after I lied to bait the NK towards me.

Regardless, Dani is scum if she is available and does not say anything.
