It is by profiting off the labor of the poor and working class.
Lol no, it isn't. You're absolutely delusional if you think the elite rich are wealthy because of labor exploitation. That might be how some people get to the middle class, but the elite rich are monopolists and rent collectors first and foremost with investments as far as you can imagine.
The main goal of the ultra-rich is to first destroy the competition by destroying the middle class (as they did in California) and their secondary goal is to convince poor people that they can never make it to the middle class no matter what life choices they make.
their money is at risk.
The stock market says otherwise. In fact, you can tell exactly who is making assloads of money over the lockdowns by looking at the discrepancies in public policy.
Small businesses can't have x amount of people in the stores, but you can have unlimited people in casinos.
Amazon is doing just fine with the elimination of competition.
Rich people don't give a fuck about you or Corona. It's just business as usual. Using the government to eliminate competition.

Also, much of the rioting is going on in swing states. People are not going to support violence in November, and will remember (or be reminded) who allowed the riots to get out of control.

Rich people want to go back to making money...
Lol, if the rich want to make money, they keep the poor at home and unemployed. That way they have no competition. It's the poor people unemployed at home that need to work for money. The rich can just live off of the unemployment checks the poor spend just fine.
It's in the rich person's self-interest to make sure as many people are not working or climbing the ladder to eliminate market competition, and they can use the government to force people to stay at home. Easy peasy. Big corporations are absolutely loving all the mom and pop shops going bankrupt due to quarantine. Easy monopolies thanks to the crony government destroying the competition for the rich.
Rich people still don't affect me personally since the government pays for my salary. If they wanna put millions of people out of business and solidify their monopolies, it doesn't affect my personal well-being in the slightest. I just feel bad for the other people who don't have jobs with the government and are not a part of the elite crony club.
The stock market is looking great for the crony elites right now... All that competition under house arrest. It's a scrooge McDuck paradise.
Rich will be as rich or more if Trump loses.
I guess you will be voting for Kanye then, since the rich win no matter who is elected in 2020.

Rich do nothing for or against me, Except pay my salary for my comfy lifestyle. I don't wake up miserable every day because someone a half a mile away lives in a mansion.
I really don't give a fuck about what the government does for or against the rich since I am not rich. I do care what the government does to me though.

Please show me exactly what rules the trump government has put in place to keep children safe.
Making them go back to school for one. CDC overwhelmingly states kids are suffering massive health risks due to quarantine along with child abuse.
Censored scientists on Youtube repeatedly confirm this along with actual Covid numbers for children the MSM is actively censoring as a political matter.
It most certainly is political once the censoring begins.

I lived through the aftermath of Katrina, New Orleans; and the corruption as the billions of dollars of aid flowed in was staggering.
Contractors were actually going out and raising a house an inch and then charging the federal government 60,000 dollars per house lift while kicking some of the money back to the homeowner client.
Disgusting.

@TheDredPriateRoberts
The whole deal about "probable case" is that any doctor can "feel" a death is covid related. When something is THAT subjective...and money is involved...you KNOW there is going to be a LOT of corruption. Such as in the case that the doctor "felt" that Covid might have been the cause of this man's motercycle accident. Who would be the person to say otherwise? There is ZERO accountability and oversight on this.

Created:

Dude. READ-THE-BILL.
Hospital gets the money ON A DISCHARGE. A death certificate is a certificate of DISCHARGE. You can't get funding for just sending in a COVID test result.
I swear, the mental gymnastics your cognitive-dissonance goes through are positively astounding. Has your brain EVER felt a moment of prolonged uncertainty?

The 10x deadlier is covering the entire population. You appear to be correct that it is not particularly deadly to children. However it is still quite dangerous to 20-40 year olds. Alot of people in that category still get hospitalized and can have permanent injuries from it even if it doesn't kill them. Pretending like covid isn't dangerous to people under 40 is incredibly irresponsible and is getting people killed.
What is much more dangerous is pretending Covid is as dangerous to healthy young people as it is to Older at-risk people. It's not, and the numbers back it up. Yes it's much more dangerous for at-risk people. No, it's not more dangerous to children and healthy 20-40 year olds.
It leads to the continuation of policies that hurt young people as the CDC has constantly pointed out. The CDC knows what is dangerous, and irresponsible. The current policies of quarantining healthy children are.
Created:

@HistoryBuff
ok, but all they would have to do is show his diagnosis of Covid. They do not have to show that covid killed him to get the funding. Therefore there is no reason for the deaths stats to be inaccurate.
Lol what are you talking about? You can't get a dead person to sign discharge papers. It's not like they can get up and walk out of the hospital. SMH. The funding isn't given on admittance. The funding is given upon discharge.
Created:

@HistoryBuff
it is about 10X deadlier than the flu.
Not to children and healthy 20-40 year olds. Numbers clearly back that up.
Created:
-->
@HistoryBuff
Whether they die or not is irrelevant to the funding as far as I can tell.
It's immediate proof for the financial claim. A death is counted as a discharge from the hospital.

@HistoryBuff
You keep assuming that you have sufficient evidence to decide it is safe when that evidence simply cannot exist yet.
Well then you can easily take the contrapositive of your own claim. You are making risk assessments when you have no clue how fatal Covid is. Why would you listen to politicians who are lying to your face when they claim the science is on "their side?"
The fact of the matter is that there are DOZENS of preliminary studies that give us a very good idea about how Covid works, and we don't have to operate like a government agency and wait 10 years before someone in authority can safely tell you what to do with zero liability. Well you can I guess. Most people are much less robotic.

It's this bill sorry.

Since i don't think this research has been done yet.
I love your assumptions of your own ignorance. Fascinating.
It's one thing to state "I haven't seen the research yet" and then quite another thing to form an opinion based on the belief that "because I have not seen the research, it most certainly cannot exist."

It is true that a section of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (or the CARES Act) calls for higher compensation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the care of patients with a primary or secondary diagnosis of COVID-19. The measure is found in Section 3710, and the increase is 20%.

Created:

@HistoryBuff
so there was a single error in counting people who have died? There have also been lots of doctors who say deaths have been under-counted because they didn't have enough tests to be able to use them on dead people.
Asymptomatic people already have inflated the covid death numbers. Many dead people tested with even a faint residual of Covid got marked down as a Covid death.
You had to know that was going to happen when hospitals got rewarded with Federal dollars for inflating death counts of Covid.

@ILikePie5
Then don’t stand in front of them when they’re talking lmao. Better yet, no one should talk. It just spreads the virus even more.
That's a common misconception. The viral loads of infected people talking or breathing are far, far lower, almost undetectable compared to a cough or sneeze.
Go look it up.
When masked people cough or sneeze, unless they have an airtight fit, massive jets of air coat the cheeks and face areas with the virus which everyone immediately then spreads around with their hands, gloves or no gloves. Scientists are just way too afraid to admit they can't really do much to stop or slow a virus from running it's natural course through herd immunity.

Think about ewhat happens when people in cloth masks sneeze and cough. It goes right onto their cheeks, and they almost ALWAYS touch their face with their hands RIGHT AFTER.
There's a reason why theres no conclusive science that cloth masks work at all to stop transmissions.
People spread it slower during normal flu when they coughed on their sleeves...at least they didn't transmit the infested saliva all over their hands then.

@TheDredPriateRoberts
Exactly. For the past 6 months, the most important thing the public needs to know, namely the number of healthy people 10 and younger dying from Covid, and the number of healthy 20-40 year old parents dying from Covid is the one thing the "Experts" are either not telling us on purpose, or that info is being censored.
If you ask a foamy mouthed CNN watcher this, their answer is "OF COURSE, LOTS OF YOUNG HEALTHY ADULTS AND YOUNG HEALTHY CHILDREN ARE DYING!"
If you ask them for exact numbers, they just wipe their spittle away for a moment and demur, "ASK CNN, THEY GET PAID 50,000 A DAY TO CARE ABOUT THIS AND ME."
Yet this is exactly the info the public needs to reopen the country. It's almost like..dun-doo-dunnnn... the Media is spinning a narrative and censoring info to make sure the country suffers till around... I dunno.. say Nov 3? When things can get back to "normal?"
