1 nuclear power plant costs $4 billion to build.
Maybe for the government to build. Modular fission reactors are not that expensive. And even if it were, it's still lots cheaper than the current green energy subsidies over the years. If the same amount of propaganda directed at saying the world is going to end was instead directed at promoting the nuclear power industry, there would be nowhere near the amount of costly regulation in place, and we can once again be allowed to build nuclear energy cheaply like we did back in 1970.
But propaganda isn't created by the people. It's created by the ultra rich controlling a socialist government, and nuclear power isn't nearly as profitable at any construction cost compared to the ongoing "renewable" green energy scam.
As bad as you guys think Capitalism is, Socialism is simply giving a loaded gun (authority to kill) to ultra rich Capitalists. This is why we can't have nice things like nuclear power.

if you run the numbers, the hundreds of rabbits you would need to raise and slaughter to equal 1 cow (about 300) is a shit ton of labor. Plus, rabbits tend to kill each other if you herd them in too closely like you can with chickens. This requires lots of hutch space. Cows are pretty cool with being close together.
Rabbits are great for providing small scale amounts of food as you don't have to worry about freezing a ton of meat for long periods. For large urban centers, it's sub-optimal production on a large scale. It might be a different story if genetic engineering creates a farm friendly rabbit like it did with today's cow. The rule of thumb is that if it can thrive in the wild, then it's probably not an efficient farm livestock.
There's 770,000 cattle farms in the USA and about 5000 rabbit farms.

Most people really don't care that the climate changes. Greenland was once actually green, and we are coming out of a little ice age period. We are also near the tail end of a balmy El Nino cycle. We are set to have a nice cool El Nina cycle sometime next year.
What's not scientific consensus is whether or not we should revert to pre-industrial standards of living by lowering our global energy production in order to live in a pre-industrial climate. There is yet any compelling scientific evidence that a colder planet is objectively a better climate for all life including humans. Nor is there compelling scientific evidence that lowering global standards of living by lowering energy production is objectively optimal for the progression of the human species.

There's also the issue of modern women all chasing the same man. Modern women find 80% of men below average.
So when the top 20% man has access to 5 girls, they will all get used and abused due to the modern woman's insistent greed for the top 20%
