There were many reports about a second wave occurring. If they don’t like Trump, they could’ve predicted the wave and adapted better. You can plan for these events looking at statistics
how would they do that exactly? In order to adapt they need to make significant changes, many of which would require additional funding. For example denmark installed lots of extra sinks, massively increased cleaning (which would require more hiring), cut class sizes to allow students to spread out more, staggared recesses to keep kids apart, mandated they could only stay in specific groups (no changing between groups during recess) etc. Alot of the changes that would make this work require more training and more resources. You can't do that without government support, which they aren't getting.
Give me a fucking break. Teachers aren’t even doing 1/2 the work they normally do in a school setting, yet are making nearly 80-100k a year and are not getting paycuts.
They are adapting to a global crisis the same way everyone else is and you want to punish them for that. Jesus, that is brutal.

So basically, most cases are direct transmission from bodily fluid. But some evidence has come up that some cases may be caused by airborne transmission. So they aren't even stating definitively that a single case has been transmitted by airborne transmission. Just that there is some evidence that some cases might be caused that way.
That is a very, very long way from the argument you are trying to make.

your example wasn't a lie. It was a minor error that was quickly corrected. And the scale of lies and misinformation is critically important. If I convince people of 1 minor falsehood, that is bad. If I convince people of hundreds of falsehoods ranging from mild to extremely serious, that is obviously a much bigger problem.

no it isn't. Everyone lies sometimes. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. If you make it a completely black and white issue then you ensure there can be no discussion. Either even the most minor of lies is an immediate punishment (at which point most users wouldn't use the platform) or we have to allow lunatics to peddle lies 24/7 and mislead millions of people. It is not a black and white issue.

The 2 are in no way comparable. 1 is a clear and ongoing attempt to mislead and misinform the american people, the other is a simple mistake that they quickly corrected. If you think those 2 are the same, then you are delusional.
