In school's required readings, have there been any books that stand out in your memory, if so, why?
Yeah, a novel of Gabriel García Márquez, "one hundred years of solitude". It's the best novel I've ever read in my life, it tells a fantastic story of a family in several generations. Actually the Gabo (short of Gabriel) is one of my favourite writers, together with Roberto Bolaño. I have all his novels and other writings in my bookshelf.
