Freedom is about having the autonomy to do what you want. There are 2 types of freedom. Liberals tend to focus on positive rights and conservatives negative rights. When Americans refer to freedom, they are usually talking about negative rights.
Positive rights are things you would call "freedom from". When FDR created his new bill of rights, it was about positive freedoms. Things such as freedom from poverty, freedom from hunger, freedom from the threat of nuclear war.
Negative rights are basically rights that would be afforded to you, if you live in the forest around no other humans. Freedom to say whatever you want, freedom to do drugs, freedom to saw off a shotgun etc.
When Americans say freedom they usually mean the following.
1. Freedom of autonomy to go where you want
2. Freedom of speech to criticize government
3. Freedom to live a life where if you are ethical, you don't even notice the government even exists
So freedom is not about the option to go outside if you do what your government commands, such as getting a vaccine. It would be freedom to go outside unconditionally. Freedom to choose whether to get a vaccine, based on your own weighing of AL risk and reward and understanding of the facts.

With homosexuality not being genetic. It's a sexual preference. I believe there could be genetic predisposition, but it is a preference thing. For example, eating pizza and liking it, isn't really genetic. It's a cultural thing and people love it, but it is preference. With sexual preference it is the same. Nobody is born loving fat chick's, it just happens, same with homosexuality. A preference. You won't find a gay gene.
It doesn't mean it is necessarily changeable. If you love pizza you aren't likely to start hating it, and if you hate the taste of sushi than you aren't likely just to start loving it

It really is true. I won't pretend all anti vaccine mandate people are the same, and it should be noted that those against the covid mandate are probably mostly for all the other currently required vaccines, but these so called anti Vaxxers come in 2 varieties. The most common variety is type 1.
1. Believes that vaccines should not be mandated. Many of these people are vaccinated
2. Believes the vaccine is dangerous and people should be warned
It ia possible to have some overlap in those groups as well, but there isn't much overlap.
I can see type 2 believing everyone is sheep, but type 1, most likely doesn't. It seems like you are just assuming their internal thoughts based on stereotyping antivaxxers. It used to be that we stereotyped people based on gender or skin color or religion. Now days this has been mostly replaced by stereotyping a wide range of people who share a similar opinion on a subject, with the opinion arrived at through a wide variety of opinions.

The law of accelerating returns is why we get the runaway AI. Kurzweil noticed a type of pattern in history where information technology would double every so often. Moore's law was an expression of this law of accelerating returns and now that we are reaching the end of Moore's law, AI is doubling in capability really fast because of some tricks.
This is specific to information technology and I am struggling to explain the concept, but the law of accelerating returns is why we would have a runaway AI. Technically we could reach a singularity without AI though. Singularity is just one word for the phenomenon. Another might be "intelligence explosion". It's called a singularity, because we can't make accurate predictions beyond that point.
The point is that informations technology increases at a predictable rate. It went from doubling every 10k years in the middle ages to every 100 years as you can see from the year 1900 to 2000. In the year 2000 it was doubling every 6 months.
Once the singularity occurs the doubling will be even faster. Maybe every minute. Kurzweil explains it better. This is my best attempt.
However even if this runaway AI doesn't happen, I still think we are on pace to hit an explosion of intelligence before my 100th birthday and probably somewhere around my retirement.

Why do you think it would be a 5 day hold. They were asked generally about forced containment. The containment would have to be indefinite, as the Covid virus is not going to stop existing. They didn't ask about internment of infected people, they were asked about forced internment for unvaccinated.
