“ Psychologically one can determine if one is really trans or if he is just acting.”
Actually no. (Good) Psychologists don’t really do this, and the (best of the) trans community doesn’t either. There’s no litmus test for trans.
When someone comes out as trans, we celebrate and believe them. Sometimes they change their minds later on. No matter, we celebrate their freedom to explore themselves.
Identity is more important that what someone is arbitrarily assigned at birth. There’s no wrong way to be trans. We simply believe and respect how people want to identify.

Didn’t you know? We trans folk are out to conquer the world and turn all the good boys into catgirls and good girls into awkward dads. We will ban freedom of thought and replace it with our Karl-Marx approved sex toys for toddlers. We will erect a Spencer’s on every street corner and abortion clinics in every kitchen. We are legion.
Personally, I disagree with the notion of a s&g point. I think it is ageist (kids who can't spell should be allowed to debate too!), classist, elitist, etc. Who cares about spelling or grammar in a debate anyway?
I’m glad your stance is Con. I just mean, don’t forget that you are representing the trans community to all the cis debaters reading this. It’s a lot of responsibility, and I wish you the best of luck as you debate this important topic.
I think we fundamentally agree that people generally shouldn’t be jailed for misgendering people.
Did you finish the article, where it explained how jail time almost certainly wouldn’t happen?
Also, does not apply to the general public—it refers specifically to care workers who are using pronouns to bully their patients.
Your understanding of the bill is misleading. No one is going to jail.

Who has gone to jail for misgendering someone? Do you have an example? I personally don’t think people should go to jail period.

“ I agree, Trans folks would be more authentic as transgender if they did the surgery”
That’s a big no-no I’m afraid. We are equally valid regardless of what our bodies look like.
Damn, you’re right! I thought you were in this debate lol
“ I agree, Trans folks would be more authentic as transgender if they did the surgery”
Is from your first response to 9.9.9
“Psychologically one can determine if one is really trans or if he is just acting.”
Is from your last round

I’m too new
Alas, I cannot vote yet.
You’ve figured us out! We are actually all evil.
Maybe men should just stop worrying about what women aspire to?
Nice job! I particularly enjoyed the William James reference.
This is the high school LD topic, isn’t it?
Thank you!
Seldiora, you called me a “he”. Again.
Did you forget again? Or is it because I’m trans?
I respect that.
You can actually save a whole bunch of characters by linking website to words (hyperlink) when writing your round!

Looking forward to reading this
I might be willing to debate you on this sometime.
Thanks! I like debating unpopular opinions. I feel like they can really change the ways we think.
Yeah, you’ve got it! I, Pro, am arguing that the prison system should be done away with in the United States.
Would you like to change that? :^) I bet a debate would be fun

Something tells me this "pro" who is challenging the top 20 is in for a treat. And I love to see it.
Intelligence, please remember that when you debate this topic, you are representing a lot of people. Good luck.
I would like to remind you, AGAIN, that I am a “she” not a “he.” I am beginning to think this is intentional.
Surely you’re a strong enough debater to not have to noob snipe, lol
I see! What a cool design.
@RationalMadman @SirAnonymous, many thanks! I look forward to debating you and getting to know you better.
It’s not a big deal—just thought I’d mention. Especially since there are so few women debaters on this site.
I’m actually a “she” not a “he” :)
