Whichever side one chooses to take I think that religion can be more defined as having evolved from an ideology and not just theory alone whereas evolution is nothing more than a theory, albeit one that has been all but dismissed anyway.

I didn't say it wasn't real, I said it's myth. The Bible is myth like any other religious text. There is no proof any of the stories that happen in myth happen on Earth. There is a reason for that. And don't call me names again.

Abraham was an idiot. I agree with zedvictor on this and rarely do I do so. Seek psychiatric help if this is genuinely occuring for you. If you can't afford it, reach out to a loved one and beg. This is dangerous, extremely so.
Don't you think that it is highly disrespectful to make such gratuitously insulting remarks when obviously you are in need of (no doubt, more) the same treatment that you recommend being dispensed to others?

Thank you for such an eloquent description. I am very new to this sort of thing and, scanning through some of the posts I do detect a slight brashness with some members who I would presume come and go anyway and most would be of an unsavory persuasion.

I am afraid that you made a fundamental mistake with your topic which is merely a link anyway.
The text therein states:
The natural world contains about 8.7 million species; it did not state "contained".
Noah's Ark occurred eons ago when there were considerably fewer species in the world. Also, most species were and still are minute insects.
Notwithstanding, if one were not of a particular biased and uninformed persuasion and committed to read and comprehend the authoritative text of the Bible one would not be so prone to making such glaring errors.

You may not, as you quaintly iterated, "run" with perchance and randomness, however the theory of evolution does, and you did quote such.
If one had been educated beyond a particular equableness one would realize that Blasphemy is not merely a concept utilized by an elite few, it is bona fide word as realized in the Oxford Dictionary.

The Bible is myth not fact. No proof Jesus is a real person. If they are saying his body rose up then I suppose it did there. But that is not a thing that happens on Earth.
The Bible is real and it is only the self-righteous who could ever claim otherwise. It is the most coveted book in existence. That the body of Christ rose is undeniable and I think your point clearly explains the confusion many heathens find it difficult to understand; the resurrection is purely a spiritual thing and has no worldly application whatsoever.

We are also somewhat ordered by evolution, and conditioned by the past and limited by our physiology. So whether or not, we ever have total freedom of choice is debateable.
That is a rather blasphemous and prejudged statement to say the least. How can such a contrived theory order what is done when people of your ilk like to reiterate at monotonous regularity that everything that takes place is by perchance or, as they like to put it, randomly?

I think it important to remember that if we adhere to traditional values women will realize their place in society and behave appropriately. Also, may people confuse the word "beating" with "iron rod" which has always been acceptable for men to use when controlling the spurious impulses of women.
