When wanting to help comes from a place of . "I have to help these people because they are inferior and need help from whites. This is why meritocracy is bad" than yes it is a bad thing .

We know this is how white liberals disproportionately feel also, because of studies showing liberals are more likely to talk down to blacks by using smaller words than conservatives are.

We also see evidence of it in policies they suggest that ask people to consider race in hiring

This can be seen in early cave paintings, where hunters are portrayed completing a successful hunt, this is intended to influence the potential for future successful hunts.
Cool, thanks for supporting my assertion that there is an evolutionary advantage by mentioning sympathetic magic which would obviously compel a belief that makes it more likely to persevere in the face of what looks like defeat and not to mention the known benefits of the placebo affect.

@bronskibeat
I’m going to start with a nitpick: Your blog is claiming here that 3% of black men commit over half of the nation’s murders and non-negligent manslaughters. Those numbers don’t add up. As of 2020 there were 199,100,00  black men living in the United States. 3% of 19.91 million is 597,300.
You are misinterpreting what this means. By 3% he means 50% of the 6% of the population black males represent. I believe he is specifically talking about a demographic of 18 to 25 year old males. He isn't saying that all 18-25 year olds commit the crimes only that those crimes predominantly come from that demographic.

This is also why the left wing inherently have less racists, a wing based on helping the struggling cannot be as hateful to the struggling, generally speaking
The difference I believe is that liberals employ a type of happy face racism. Where they view minorities as children that need babies while conservative racists are hateful. The racism in the liberal party is more widespread though less noticable.

I like that Jordan Peele did a great job of taking apart liberal types of racism in the movie "Get Out' if you haven't seen it, great film like all of Peele's films and asks very deep questions.

Is to whether there would have been any religious conflict between polytheistic groups is as far as I am aware unlikely, as if you believe in many gods it is easy to accept the gods of other tribes.

The main reason for early tribal conflict would have been about resources not religion, obtaining resources would be beneficial to survival.

Obviously the conflicts would more likely revolve around resources and other similar things. We're are talking about the advantages of a theistic belief system for evolutionary purposes.

It is unlikely that early tribal groups would die for God as there is no evidence for monotheism in these early groups,

The type of belief system that supports cowards get punished in the afterlife or that a God will ensure victory even when certain defeat looks imminent is not any less likely to be polytheistic than monotheistic religion.

That's right. If rape was a crime with 'victims', how come the 'victims' never feel like telling anyone about it? In fact, they're often dead-silent about it!

Women's fantasies usually revolve around being "ravaged". You're actually doing them a favor

I’ve Started The Keto Diet Within The Past Week.

@sadolite
Its not what you eat, its how much you eat. Science shows that food intake A couple of steps above starvation is the best amount. The body uses all the nutrients available in the food you eat. Its also good to not eat for 3 days twice a year. Not eating for just one whole day does wonders. I've heard it called the "rat diet" I live by it and eat whatever I want.  I have weighed the same amount give or take 5 pounds since I was 25. Being active of course is an absolute must. My job takes care of that.
These are all true. Keto is just a strategy for accomplishing these things. Fasts for example are easier once your body enters a state of ketosis and doing keto every winter will help tell care of some of the addictions that crop up with eating

Stupid. This guy through keto can reduce calories and the amount of his diet consisting of processed foods, while increasing his consumptions of healthy foods like avocado, eggs and chicken. What is faddy about any of those things?

It also doesn't make sense you filling on fruit as ketosis happens more efficiently in an environment of heavy protein intake dominating the diet.
Actually heavy fat. The focus on lowering carbs is not good enough if you are getting the same amount of your macros from fat. Lowering carbs without replacing them can result in what's called rabbit starvation.

A keto diet emphasizes the consumption of animal products while limiting many nutrient-rich vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. As a result, keto is low in many vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
Fiber is not necessary in an all meat diet. As far as minerals and vitamins are concerned, you not only get more say in a pound of beef than you would in a salad, but there are nutrients not found in anything but meat. For example a lot of branch chain amino acids.

Restricting carbohydrates prior to or during pregnancy is linked with increased risks of birth defects and gestational diabetes,
Maybe if the pregnancy isn't found out soon enough it can affect it, but I have found studies like these usually are looking at the people with 30% carb intake vs what they consider a normal 50% carb intake and calling 30% low. 30% would not be considered ketogenic and the people who get 50% of their calories from carbs have a lot less processed food in their diet normally.

If you eat meat for a week, your cholesterol levels are going to go up in many cases and you may get heart disease.”

Your LDL does significantly increase on a law carb diet. Cholesterol is not the only factor in determining risk of a heart attack and researchers have found other markers of how likely you are to have a heart attack go down, so your overall risk chances are reduced despite the higher cholesterol

  • fatigue.

Not true you actually have so much energy on the keto diet you can get away with less sleep and general rest

  • low blood sugar.

Well yes, but your body converts fat to glucose for a more sustainable energy without the peaks and valleys with other diets

  • nausea.
  • vomiting.
  • headaches.

This is true, but usually is because of lack of sodium intake. This is referred to as keto flu and is solved by ordering keto-ade packets to add to water or creating your own keto-ade, combing flavoring, potassium (use no salt for this) and pink Himalayan salt. Table salt if you are not salting your food and maybe some Epsom salt as well.

  • a low tolerance for exercise

You'll have an extremely high tolerance for cardiovascular exercise. You will have a harder time building muscle because of the lack of carbs though. After people lose weight on a keto diet, if they want to build muscle, I suggest using times carb targeting prior to work outs. So maybe chug a regular protein shake which are usually carb heavy, or if your preworkout is not carb heavy enough have a glass of orange juice.

It will take you out of ketosis, but overall you will still be in a state of ketosis for the majority of time.

For it to be an evolutionary advantage it would need to help maximise our fitness to survive and I can’t see how religion does this.
I would argue that it has maximize fitness to survive. You'd have to look at it through the lense of group evolution. If a group has 30 selfless individuals unafraid of death and willing to die for their God, they have an advantage over tribes in warfare who do fear death, will act selfishly in battle by retreating too early etc.

why bother reading it in German?
I don't think things translate perfectly. A lot gets lost in translation. I also think it's useful to try and put yourself into the time period as a writer and know what was going on around them. I know that for example Nietzsche is hard to understand in English, In German with their larger working vocabulary and more precise wordings of things, I think it would probably help with a deep understanding of the work. I am just using Freud and Nietzsche as examples because they are the first to come to mind, not the most interesting, but there is a lot of great things that came out originally in the German Language, and that non native speakers probably miss out on because translations are impossible to get perfect.

For example the phrase "see you later alligator" if translated would probably seem odd. Not to mention using words with intentional double entendres or more subtle multiple meanings that would be unique to the language.

It's one of the reasons I think people get Bible study wrong as well. Most of the stuff comes from Greek or Hebrew. When I do Bible study I really start tearing apart the original language as much as I can to try and get a fuller meaning as well as understand the time period in that region

Such a beautiful language soon to be replaced by Arabic
I am learning it because I want to read all the works of great Germans how they were intended to be read people such as Nietzsche and Freud, as well as listen to Nazi propaganda on it's original language.

I am honestly not sure why Germans even speak German. They all know English anyway, they might as well keep things simple and adopt the same language as the civilized world.

Their language is stupid by the way. Like if we make a left turn we just say those words separate. These assholes try to combine the words to unnecessarily make a single word meaning left turn. Not to mention the stupidity of making every noun one of 3 genders. Words shouldn't have genders assholes.

They do other stupid shit also. I think they have 9 words that essentially mean "the" . You only need one word for the idiots. Nothing is gained by having multiple words

Another stupid thing they do is have different words they use with the same meaning when they are for example talking to a respected elder vs peers.

These jack asses complicate everything, and don't even get me started on dialects. It is one thing to have regional accents, but entirely different dialects is dumb. It's the same language.

Predictions for the future of politics and society
Medicine can now do some crazy things. We can make artificial meat in a man etc.
I wonder if that's ever going to become advanced enough to grow human lungs or hearts

You just know once they legalize the selling of lab grown meat, people will be clamoring to eat human flesh.

The neurological re-hardwiring is going to be the hardest hurdle to reach posthumanism, so I'm not convinced that we're all that close to it. I'm not even sure if the CRISPR genome editing is advanced enough (or can become advanced enough) to even attempt lasting edits to DNA that result in neurological re-hardwiring.

Agreed. Plus there is that other problem. If we gave an ant an IQ of 150 and put it in a human body, would it still act like an ant? Post humanism might not happen because it's just going to be humans who are now superior in a lot of distinctly human ways .

Most hospitals in America are either government owned, or are non profit. It should also be noted that americans pay much more than Their socialised healthcare counterparts (due to the higher privatisation).
I don't think not for profits will go away if the government becomes minarchist, I think a lot of private businesses will just replace public ones, but I do get your point

I disagree that the higher payments are due to privatization. Before FDR came into office healthcare prices were really low, and he put a cap on wages which meant companies had to find a way around the cap. A lot started offering health insurance as a result.

I believe that health insurance has done a lot to hide the price of actual services. Like we have no ideal an ambulance ride costs $2000 if the insurance company pays it. So insurance has caused a type of disconnect that discourages shopping around and keeping prices reasonable.

Now you could argue the insurance is private as well and somewhat blame the costs on private entities because of that, but remember it is FDR's socialist wage caps that normalized things like insurance to start with.

I honestly think the costs of healthcare would be lower had that sort of wage capping never taken place.

You could argue that despite what caused the problem, socialization would fix it. You might be right, and that is a discussion I would want to save, but I think it's unfair to place the blame on the free market, because it looks like market manipulation preceded the high prices.

It would be 10x worse
Can you give me an example? I don't necessarily think bribing the CEO of a corporation like Amazon would be easier than bribing a senator. I probably just don't have a grasp on what type of bribery you are talking about here. It would help if you clarified or gave an example or 2

I imagine there's a correlation between a family being able to afford homeschooling and the increased levels of education (as opposed to the education itself) if a parent can afford homeschooling they're likely more affluent to begin with (more likely to have lots of time on their hands). It must also be noted that Teachers generally need degrees.....if we're being taught by our mums, some people are naturally going to get stunted, no?
I can't help but to think non profits would step in here. K12 is currently like a free homeschooling website, but if it is or became private you could monotize it by putting up some affiliate links for homeschool supplies or a cheap monthly payment like Netflix

You are correct that poor people would probably struggle more with getting there kids a good education because of less free time. Besides schools are basically there to offer free daycare so parents can go to work anyway. Taking those schools away would harm the ability of single parents to work and provide.

I say that's the real reason for schools because studies also show that a homeschool kid gets as much education in a 2 hour school day as a public school kid in an 8 hour day.

I think you found one of those situations where a minarchist state would be outperformed by the current system. Who knows though. The fact is people can be creative so some cult might step up in these areas to offer free school to brainwash while educating the kids and it would be a fair trade. Cults set up free drug recovery units all the time for the same reason. There might be 100 other solutions.

Basically I just wanted to explain to you that a minarchist system might not look much different than the current system though it would perform better in some cases and worse in others. Your original argument I think was that minarchism wouldn't work, so I am addressing that.

I am not addressing whether it would overall be better or worse, and you'll find if you are arguing with an intelligent libertarian they don't really care whether a minarchist state outperforms the status quo, they are just concerned with what type of government is ethical to have.

I pretty much agree with you. I think it might just be Western women in general who suck at raising kids or perhaps I just attract shitty women. Clearly my life experience might not reflect the broader reality.

I can tell you I have been around some great female matriarchs. Usually they do a great job keeping large families together and loyal to each other. They all seem to have relationship problems unless they can find a husband who will split responsibilities with them instead of trying to lead the house.

Clearly even in large families with a strong matriarch, the women are going to more often than men take the care giving role.

I kind of watched this unofficial thing happen on my dad's side of the family. It was weird. At first my grandmother was the matriarch who ruled the family almost like a queen. Then her daughter ruled it when she died. Now that she has gotten old, she has handed the reigns to her eldest daughter.

I know there is nothing official, but you can feel the power shifts and everyone always starts obeying the new matriarch almost like an Ant colony.

I know I said a lot here, but I basically agree with what you said about men and women's separate strengths complimenting each other.

I do think American society has lost some of that, because we have this ultra masculine image of what a man should be. It's a good image and we don't have that image of what a woman should be.

So of course women try to drop their femininity in the west and become like males because they view males as superior. Unfortunately women just have a messed up image of what is masculine so they think shit like hitting your partner or being neglectful to kids is masculine. They think lots of sex with random strangers is masculine so they replicate that. They take male movies because they don't want female heroes who are feminine and instead of a female spy they make James Bond a woman. Instead of females who save the world from ghosts, they try to have women replicate the male Ghostbusters.

The ideal of masculinity doesn't only hurt females. We have a generation of beta males who because they don't fit the stereotype, don't think of themselves as men, so they mutilate their dicks and try to be women.

So yes, Western women are unique because they are at war with the sacred feminine. It's sad that men are going to have to save the sacred feminine. It might be fair though, we may have been the ones to hurt her to start with.

The government? i thought rothbard was an anarcho-capitalist not a minarchist?
Actually I thought your argument was a more general one towards libertarian I am only familiar with a few Rothbard arguments not his overarching ideology.

I'm sure bribery couldn't infiltrate this system....
I feel like it infiltrates the system we have now. Could just be my cynicism though.

People in Rural areas don't give a shit about properly funded schools and hospitals? remember, everything is built privately. Who the fuck is going to built a school in rural areas when you wont even get many students attending?
Basically I think you would have single mothers do it who are looking for an income. It appears homeschool students do better in college than ones who went to public school, so it could be a wash.

Hospitals maybe not so much, but I assume there would be a town doctor like in the wild west. Hospitals are already privately built so I'm not sure much would change in that regard.

That's one of the criticisms for hospitals now days. They are too profit motivated which means they will prioritize patient satisfaction over nurses and doctors doing the right things.

There's studies done to show that doctors who are less personable get sued more often. So we are looking at hospitals for ing good bedside manner even if in some cases it harms patient outcomes.

I am not promoting any system here, to remind you. However it seems a monarchist state works on paper. I am not sure what it would look like in real life. I think community policing would get better if areas could just fire a police company and bring a new one in, for example, but it also could result in some types of mini kingdoms like took place in the 1800s with town sheriff's having too much power over their jurisdiction and being too far out of the ability of feds to step in and regulate

Imagine having an army being paid through private entities. America would have no army.
I am Sure the government could fund it through bonds and conquest.

Your roads would be private (therefore tillable) every time you go on a road.

It would be like Netflix. A monthly fee and various organizations would connect for you to be able to ride on nice streets. Not too different than what we have now. The fee would replace taxes and the roads are already built by and maintained by private companies.

Rural areas would be massively underfunded as there would be no private business incentive to build roads or industries there (low populations).
People in those areas probably don't give a shit about those things.

Do you know the difference between Chauvinistic perspective and Misogyny?

I will once I Google it here in a minute

It would also be insane to suggest that men make equally good childcarers to women, if we average things out.
I really don't agree with this. I have 2 kids. Both women punish if the kid pisses them off and the harshness of the punishment is dependent on how pissed the kid made them, while I just give rule and make a list of punishments and if he pisses me off and doesn't break a rule, no punishment. If he makes me laugh and breaks a rule punishment. Now something women are capable of apparently.

Also the first one tried to use the second one as a weapon after we broke up. Apparently she was more concerned with beating me than the well being of the child.

The second one has issues I can't get into publicly because I am afraid the authorities could come down on me for being too soft on her in these regards but I can tell you things like. I make sure his teeth are brushed, she doesn't. I make sure he is bathed, she doesn't. Around me he eats nutritious foods, around her junk food.

Maybe I attract shit women, but my experience are that they are terrible parents. I can also tell you my own mother did a shit job, it only appears she did good because my dad was so horrible in comparison.

The only real exception I can think of, is my sister. She is a single mother and is the best mother I have ever seen in my life. It's damn near heroic how she handles it, but I see her as an exception to the rule
