Hello! I'm not quite as bellicose as Dawkins on this subject, as I will admit that Christianity has done some good for humanity. However, I will be arguing that it's far outweighed by the harm. I look forward to debating with you.
This is the man who thinks that shapeshifting interdimensional reptilians are controlling the government. I think his lunacy has been confirmed long ago.
There was certainly philosophy in the late Roman Empire, but nothing like that of the Enlightenment. Historians consider the Enlightenment to have started in the mid-late 17th century, at the earliest.
Also, do you not realize that religious skepticism and secularism were the Enlightenment's defining characteristics?
Hello there. I will be both arguing two main points: that the prequel trilogy is awful and Star Wars was already "ruined" by them, and that the sequel trilogy is actually pretty good so far. Not perfect, but far better than Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones.
No, that's not what I meant. I'm not going to focus on anything that's clearly meant to be a parable or metaphor within the context of its book. I'm going to be focusing more on stories such as those in Genesis and Exodus, which the Bible certainly takes literally. If you're willing to defend that, feel free to accept!
I was on DDO, but I can't say I've ever met this guy. I'm hoping for a civil and reasonable debate, but if he really does behave as you say, that's a shame.
Hello there. I'm honestly not sure if this is a troll debate or not, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I will be arguing that white males aren't biologically predisposed to commit any more evil acts than anyone else. Best of luck!
This is an interesting topic, but I won't accept because can't think of any good arguments that fanfiction is always a bad thing. Especially considering that The Aeneid, Foe, Wide Sargasso Sea, and other works of great literature are fanfics.

Thank you. This site has so much potential, but god, is it wasted.

Hello, I will be taking the position that life was not created by God. Look forward to a good debate!
I would be more than willing to hear out an opponent who argues that it is neutral. I'll edit the description to reflect that.
I haven't. I'll send in my response tomorrow.
