I'd be happy to debate your point on guns as I believe in the US, the 2nd Amendment should be abolished with heavy and general restrictions but on guns - including forcibly taking them from people who don't hand them in.
What's wrong with being a Christian and a socialist. The UK Labour Party was founded on the principles of the New Testament and is a democratic socialist party.
I ran out of characters to put a full case, however, there is more than enough to get started. What about this as a structure:
R1 - My case part 1, your rebuttals of part 1
R2 - My case part 2, your rebuttals of part 2
R3 - My response to your rebuttals, your counter-points
R4 - Summary/Conclusion
I have set things up ready for the next part as in the past cases and definitions so you can probably guess quite a few of my points.
It was! That was my first ever full debate. I was a bit fearful at first over format/rules etc. but it was really enjoyable. I didn't know much about the topic before taking it up so it was interesting to learn about both countries.
In the UK, the Conservative Party is seen as the party of big business and the Labour (Socialist) Party is seen as the party of small business and trade unions.
Quora and some of Pro's other sources are really unreliable.
I'm happy to have this as a formal debate if you want.
I have many arguments against number 2 and 3.
Number 1 is just not worth having them for due to the damage they can cause.
Indeed. Puerto Rico should also be a state
That's my key point.
In the 42nd and 43rd Congress, they elected Republican Norton Chipman as the non-voting delegate to the House of Representatives.
Not strictly true about always voting Dem.
I'm more inclined to agree with PRO's position but they just don't have a good case.
CON seems to have a much better argument.
I only see Brexit as damage control - I only think we should leave to respect the result of the referendum.
Thanks for the tips on the format on one of my other debates. Is this first argument any better?

It really depends on what you want to prioritise and what is in the deal. The current 2 deals would have net negative effects.
Any tips would be appreciated!
It's a good topic - I just happen to agree with you.
The debating point is " the most prosperous and ideal Sate in the UNION"
This means you need to prove both prosperity and the most ideal state.
I'm more than happy to have this debate with you, if you want to prove your argument.
If you assert it as a fact rather than opinion - what is there to debate?
Then I must protest. I do not have "TDS". I'm not even American - it barley affects me. I just support - unequivocally - the Rule of Law.
Is that comment aimed at me or someone else?
Thanks! It's only my 2nd full debate.
We could have a debate on this, if you want.

Is the term liberal being pre-defined, or is it a debatable point?
They are both former Soviet republics in Asia.

I was inspired by your previous debate.

This is a great concept!
Is there anything I can do to end the debate or delete it?
Can't wait to start!
It's open voting.
