Rap is phenomenal, I will just give you two tracks that display everything you said rap lacks.

do you want me to say more in public? I'd rather not help publicly. I was just gonna PM him some fundamentals etc which isn't cheating as it's permitted for anyone to coach anyone so long as there's no conflict of interest and since I'm not in a debate against you and not debating the same topic there's no conflict for me to coach him at present. I was not gonna give him more than a guide towards what to look at fundamentally as he's new to 1v1 debating.

In fact rap includes everything you said it lacks.

Rap includes melody. What you are referring to is the 'main' part of rap called the 'spitting' or 'delivery of lyrics'.

I would like you to find a successful rap track without melody among the other things you said it lacks.

Then I'd like you explain how they have anything to do with lyrical advancement.

Then I want you to explain why a scale being subjective makes it impossible to uphold. If we totally deny subjectivity as having value, it follows that all forms of music are reduced to equally bad which would imply no one should be paid more than anyone for it amongst many other things.

There's so much to attack here in your case while defending the resolution. The reason I'd hesitate to uphold the resolution is because it literally will take hours (at least 2) to fully put together the ultimate proof that rap is more lyrically advanced than other genres. It's going to convince any voter who doesn't totally deny subjectivity as having value in judging music and lyrics.

Type1 I have had deep chats with you on CD about this topic. You should know how to win, stop stating anything as obvious fact and go into detail. This is a fact and you CAN STILL WIN in round 2 if you take him on properly. Go point by point with patience and stop your hyper aggro style.

Jobs was not autistic, Gates is. Newton was not autistic, Tesla and Einstein were. There are lies in the first debate.

Autism is a trade-off made in the brain where it sacrifices the natural ability to socialise by nature and forces that to be a part lacking that has to be learnt from scratch and in exchange increases the capacity to memorise things in a systematic manner which is simply a level/form of thinking and understanding neurotypicals can NEVER achieve no matter how high their IQ.

I was diagnosed with high functioning Autism from an age far younger than most do (the first signs were official by age 8 but the diagnosis came at age 12 on paper). I know what it is to be autistic but I don't see the drawbacks as an issue (yes I just said the drawbacks are not an issue).

To me, the struggle to learn socialising manually makes me more capable than even a typical psychopath at feigning socialising and has resulted in me being ridiculously good with people and ridiculously high in my immunity to their stupidity and group-think. The natural urge and ability to socialise is a mental illness that makes one skip questioning truth in exchange for the pleasing of other individuals, this is cancerous and makes one tame to superior beings (usually psychopaths but there's others who prey on them of totally different disorders).

I would never want to be normal, I'd rather be dead and this is not hyperbole. Neurotypicals are there to be the norm, they are the bland background to the show in which stars like me shine. I laugh at their normality and don't comprehend wanting to 'cure myself'.

Amending the '25 cents' would not be overturning it etc. I will be taking a left wing stance on it. I probably know less law than you but more philosophy and raw 'basis of what makes a society good and just' type arguments as well as economic studies into nations lacking minimum wage and poverty etc. I look forward to the debate.
