@Incel-chud
You are then proof of what I said:

I understand why you'd think that and probably that will be a somewhat present correlation (I get where you're coming from) but I know hardline anarchists and libertarians who are gonna score large as well.

I think you're wrong because 'freedom' requires authoritarianism to protect it in left-wing theory and alternatively right-wing libertarians can be very sure of their stance and prefer bad news over uncertainty
Although if you scored full 6 on question 4, you're definitely authoritarian (even 5 is authoritarian) because you are saying that your own judgement of most social situations is instantly correct/rigid.

I think that actually your question 4 was the one where autoritarians will score much higher and liberals/libertarians will score much lower.

What were your answers?

Actually, I have thought hard about a question and Idk if my answer is honest or if it's a 4 or even a 3 instead.

6.I'd rather know bad news than stay in a state of uncertainty.
5

I gave a 5 because I work like this; if it's bad news that I can't do shit about, I tend to be okay staying uncertain whereas if it's bad news I can still change I become very tolerant of whatever suffering comes with the news. I honestly don't know if that's a 4 or a 5 and it's often enough that I'd be willing to put 3.

The fact that the daughter of the Byrdes was thirdparty was a huge, huge clue that if the theme-split was straightforward, byrdes were scum. In the series, she reluctantly sides with her family against the town. Only their son could be town if they were scum or scum/tp if they were town.

Theme split was "The Byrdes vs everyone else" because in the show the Byrdes (while their intentions are innocent) completely destroy the lives of everyone they encounter in the Ozarks.
I knew this the moment that Earth's character was town.

Not sure why others didn't pick up on it.

As an outsider, I read into the fact that Mikal didn't push hard on the fact that Sui was protected by whiteflame on Day 3, it screamed 'scum' to me. He voted sui and didn't acts shocked or angry about the result being nullified and that whiteflame was that role, he passively mentioned it at most.

Supa was blatantly town, read how he pushed on and voted for Max, he was sure it flipped scum to a level that didn't make sense if he were scum.

Sui was blatant scum but unlynchable by day 3.

Not sure I fully understood the redirect mechanics or that it would be easy to convince anyone if I did, as town there though.

2.I feel uncomfortable when I don't understand the reason why an event occurred in my life
6

3.When I am confused about an important issue, I feel very upset.
5

4.In most social conflicts, I can easily see which side is right and which is wrong.
4

5.I feel uncomfortable when someone's meaning or intention is unclear to me.
6

6.I'd rather know bad news than stay in a state of uncertainty.

31 is my total.

I'd say I'm a progressive who is left wing. I'd say I am firmly not a Socialist but am a Social Democrat overall in terms of the 'group' I politically adhere to that is mainstream. In some ways I deviate but I'd say I'm a Progressive first and Social Democrat second but these are just semantics as there's such huge overlap between the two. I believe 'progressive' is a better term, as is 'social democrat'; 'liberal' is a term I can also go by but generally not what I default to in a conversation.

@Incel-chud
Let's assume this was real. What is your interpretation of the situation.
Since I interpret it as bullshit you invented to fit a far-right narrative, I am unsure what I interpret in the real situation because I do not think it really occurred and I do not think the cops are racist to white people.
What could explain the arrest of the woman?
What happened before I got there?
Both of these have the same answer; how the fuck would we know?
I assumed all parties were strangers, were they really connected in some other way?
How would we know?
What context am I missing here?
The entirety of the context actually, which is why you concluded it was racist without understanding the complete situation.
Should I have just seperated him from the woman instead of attacking, especially if through some weird way he was the victim?
If you were reliably strong enough to do that, yes. Otherwise, you were justified to engage violently in defense of the woman if you feared that coming in passive could lead to him knocking you out or brutally attacking you. However, you kept assaulting him after he released her and was hurt by you already, to 'teach him a lesson' which is directly illegal and constituted aggravated assualt even if it began defensively.

What have you changed your mind about?
-->
@Yassine
So, if you were curious, my mind was changed regarding Islam due to genuinely listening and reading about it. I actually considered both sides of the argument fully and have come to know of the cultures from many inside sources and what they say.
- I have been engaging with you for a while, 'genuine' is the furthest thing from reality. In truth, you're a simple hater with no desire for understanding whatsoever. This isn't a bad thing per se, we all have our own biases. But it's a good start to admit it.
Thanks for your opinion of my agenda. I seem to know what I think and feel better than you do, though.

I'm sure he impresses on the laity. But he doesn't know much of anything. Zakir Naik is salafi btw. Regardless, which of his statements was objectionable to you?
What does him being a Salafi have to do with his relevance in Islam as one of its highest scholars and spokespeople at present, to the English speaking world?

but what I don't understand is why they don't just drop the religion and become more secular, rather than cling to their religion and try to redefine it in a more peaceful manner.
- Maybe because it is objectively superior to Secularism & is also objectively more peaceful.
how is it either of those 2 things?
let's have a debate: Islam vs. Secularism. You're confident that Islam is so bad compared to Secularism, show us why that is the case. I'll let you pick whatever specific topics to include -or exclude- in that comparison (Islam vs. Secularism). What exactly would you want to compare between Islam & Secularism?
then the debate should be entitled Sharia vs Secularism because if you want to make it Islam vs, it should be Islam vs Atheism or vs Agnosticism. Secularism refers to the law of the land in theory and enforcement no longer being related to a particular faith and inherently leads to greater tolerance of non-native faiths and cultures.

@Yassine
I actually used to be a very typical accepting person when it came to Islam. I was not raised to dislike it whatsoever.
- Is that part of your culture?
Idk what exactly you mean by 'my culture' because you are assuming a few things here but if you mean that is it part of Western democracies to accept and tolerate Islam, yes that is definitely part of them. They are almost infinitely more accepting of Islam than Islamic cultures are of them, for instance. It is actually very curious that they are expected to alter laws to protect Muslims from restriction and persecution but that Islamic nations would never do the same in reverse. The only Islamic culture to properly tolerate outsiders influencing its culture seems to be Dubai in the UAE and that's just out of pragmatism as it's expat-reliant in its economics. Even there, fasting for Ramadan and other things get enforced by law (but instead of the fast itself being mandated, you are allowed to not fast but need to do it privately etc)

It was actually by reading and listening to what both sides of the arguments said about Islam that I came to be horrified about the Hadith and Qur'an.
- That's doubtful. You have yet to quote a single reliable Muslim source about any Islam related thing you ever brought up.
I have even quoted the Qur'an and Hadith themselves, it's you who chooses to ignore them and dismiss what I say as relevant. I am not interested in your approval anyway as you approving of my source has little impact on the source's validity.

It has also come to my attention that unbelievably, what I am horrified by is actually a watered down translation as many of the western copies of the Qur'an are altered texts without some of the more horrific lines.
- This is obviously nonsense. Countless versions of Quran translations are available in heaps in print & online. Do you have any examples of such horrific lines from the Quran?

The preacher named Dr. Zakir Naik is a youtuber that I followed quite a bit.

Nothing he said made me less skeptical about Islam, I noticed his habits of double-speak and deflection but he is so good at it and so knowledgable of the Qur'an and Bible that I was impressed regardless.

I have fully understood the Islamic side of the debate but what I don't understand is why they don't just drop the religion and become more secular, rather than cling to their religion and try to redefine it in a more peaceful manner.

- LOL! Yeah, that's not going to work. Nice red-herring. Why don't you start by addressing these crimes your countries perpetrated against their own children instead of evading the issue at every turn.
This is not a red herring whatsoever. You are calling social services 'abduction and indoctrination'.

I mean I'm skeptical about mRNA vaccines and am vaccinated with non-mRNA but if I were under 18 (which can only get mRNA) I'd just be antivax tbh unless my parents super pressured me. I was rebellious as a teen though so I doubt they'd do that, they sure would try though as they more than anything would be worried and guilty about 'what if we infect you' type stuff and if you're 16-17 it actually can/does affect you tbh (covid, I mean).

Even if the fears were not exxagerated, the proper attitude to have as an american is.

"Give me liberty or give me death"

or

"A person who would choose any amount of security, over freedom, deserve neither freedom nor security"

Those are quotes from America's founding fathers who created what was once the greatest country on the planet.
Even if my own parent told me these quotes, I'd laugh. After all, if I get scolded for the laugh, I need to rather die than not be free to laugh at them right? ;)

It is indeed bad that child labour happened in Switzerland until the 1960s, not 1980s. I am confused why you are referring to that as what is still happening in the West.

. In Canada, Native children enslavement continued until late 1990s. Beyond the systematic removal of their culture culture, language & history, they were also subject to abuse, torture, rape, forced labor, starvation, & often used as lab rats.
If we read your link, the school operated in 1901 and around that time, not past the 1990s, please provide evidence of this.

 It would've taken you two seconds to Google the examples I mentioned... Regardless, The Indian Child Welfare Act in 1978 gave, for the first time, Native American parents the right to refuse their children's abduction into boarding or public schools.
Okay, and do you think this is a bad thing?

Why I don't believe in climate change (as someone who isn't a republican or conservative)
-->
@TheUnderdog
Something fundamental to understand about left-wing political theory is that left-wingers conclude that the natural process of free market economics is that members of society will become selfish and ruthless. Thus, it is actually not hypocritical for them to want the government to be responsible for both welfare of the poor (instead of random spur of the moment charity donation dispensing) and environmental protection.

That said, I do understand where you are coming from. Personally, I avoid using cars if I can, preferring public transport (well, Covid made me scared but I'm overcoming it now as I'm vaccinated and beginning to venture out there physically again, very cautiously). I also have personally given a small amount to a charity fighting deforestation and will give more when/if I'm well-off enough to with enough disposable income. However, I do not claim to run a carbon-free life, it's not easy to get renewable energy for my mains electricity and such at an affordable price just yet in most countries.

What do you think “natural” means?
-->
@cristo71
I actually enjoy this question, Taoism strongly answers this but your question is indeed a brilliant Kritik on the hippie faction.

Hippies often talk of 'natural' and fail to realise that greed, rage, innovation technologically and all kinds of things that harm the planet and ecosystem are natural results of not just humans but nature itself (we are just the most capable active agent species within it).

Humans destroying the environment is natural as is eating meat, rape, murder and all kinds of things. These are all natural parts of us, as horrendous and evil as they are. In fact, what being good means at times is to resist nature and that is where trouble arises. In Christianity, Islam, Judaism and I would even say all faiths other than Taoism but especially the Abrahamic ones, there is encouragment to resist nature. Even Buddhists believe in resisting, they just wait for 'nature' to attack first. Yet, Taoism structures it differently and here is one of the concepts that made me fall in love with the idea of Taoism:

If it is natural within you and others to empathise and do the good, act on it heroically without much hesitation. On the other hand, if it feels less natural and you are forcing yourself to do it out of some sense of either loyalty, altruism or conformity to society's idea of 'justice', ponder on it and weigh up the morals in a sense of 'which ends up being the most natural way to achieve the outcome where the least are suffering'.

Making others suffer is natural, yes, however what Taoism at the highest level of it teaches is that ultimately everyone naturally benefits from a little biasing and tweaking the natural process to favour utilitarian good for the planet and ecosystem. In other words, it is a net-selfish wisdom to at times sacrifice one's own selfish base urges but question why you're doing it. Helping your mother is generally natural but if she is super toxic to you, then focus on self-preservation, same with father, friend or anybody. Helping and good are natural, us as humans protecting nature, punishing rapists and murderers and so many other acts of justice and kindness are also natural as much as the evildoers are acting on their own nature.

Now, ask yourself this, is it very natural for a corporation to snowball into greed at the expense of the planet? Yes... However, how natural is corporate capitalism? That is not the way we naturally competed.

There's more to life than pussy anyway, if you just want pussy for pussy's sake, you could just get a sex toy and watch porn, literally. To me the joy is in the woman it's attached to.

Covid fucked a lot of things up though, in terms of sex. A lot of incels at this point (early 2022) are primarily due to Covid not just due to a more on-screen world.
