You now can pick a hue (hex code) for a circling colour on your profile picture. Note that it is slightly brighter and 'greyer' than what you pick. I would also say it's even a tiny bit bluer, it goes through a filter of sorts.

Just FYI the default thing you did was not just pay what you paid but also sign up to pay $3 per month from this point onwards at the 1st of every month (regardless of when in the month you donated it originally). You can turn off the auto-renewal in the settings.

Taoism is extremely different to Confucianism, their 2 similarities are:
1) that they both believe that people are innately good if others in society are good (as the default)
2) that they both believe that bad people need to be dealt with harsher than kind people
Buddhism differs on 2 but all three agree on 1.

You're too young to understand, assuming you really are 14. Trust me when I say that until you're 18-19, life hasn't truly begun to leap onto you in terms of responsibilities and workload and usually it isn't until around 21-22 that it really hits you that you have to fend for yourself. I'm not at all romanticising childhood, I am not the type who says I wish I could be a kid with no responsibilities again, waa waa. I am instead the type who tries desperately to keep my free spirit alive no matter how diminishing life is for those around me as they age.
When you're 19, you'll realise what it is to have things that are really not pleasant to do but that you have to do just to succeed in life and get through the week/month financially or whatever. When this happens you can find even an online forum to be such a soothing escape, especially one where you're a main character that others interact readily with, both negatively and positively. It isn't easy to quit, it isn't easy to refuse to visit a place where you actually matter, but the key isn't to deny what it is, instead aim to feel like a main character in your real life and ensure that you take the time away from the site/escape to do that. Then, the site becomes the side dish and life becomes the main course.

I'm not entirely sure what exactly is in the document regarding the protection of minors but anyone who votes against it is probably worth taking note of (long-term). Why are you even being democratic about something like that? Just do it, I don't understand what the issue is.

Your arrogance is an issue for you more than me. Jesus was clearly depicted as a first born, so your 'second born male' theory doesn't work, but Lucifer was indeed depicted as the second son, with Michael as his older brother and Gabriel as his younger.

Debating is at first tactical art that masquerades as a strategic science that masquerades as a linguistic exercise but really is a psychological experiment each time it's done (and the lab rats are the audience and judges).
I can justify this, if pushed. Asking me to justify it isn't pushing, suggesting why it's wrong and how it fails to be right is where to start.

Your reason 4 destroys everything else. You admit that because the game is designed in all other ways than the blue shell, to reward fast thinking and agility, it is therefore completely unfair that this one move punishes the person in the player pool who is best at the thing the game is meant to be competed upon.
The fact that you can get a blue shell at the last minute and this can give the person who was first, third, as a genuinely realistic outcome is beyond unjustifiable. Blue shell in a game where you 'hold' powers and release them at specific times, could certainly be justified, but not in a burst game like this.

I can honestly say that the recent updates made autochess unfairly favour certain strict, rigid build paths that's really bs. There's a new game Legends of Runeterra (three weeks of release brand new) and it's so fun and works on iPhone, Android and PC, Seriously I could call it the best virtual card game, even potentially game itself, of this era and all time.

He always works with rappers who are far worse than him so that he sounds skilled in them. Put him on a track with Tech N9ne and you will laugh at his lack of skill.
He is a great YouTube personality, I laugh while watching his videos (even his reactions to people who reacted to his songs) but he is nowhere near to a proficient level of rap. He's a mediocre rapper who works with bad rappers to look good.

You are talking about a game that is designed to reward fast tactical play rather than planned out, strategic play. Everything is justified in a game like that except things that push the game longer. The blue shell is prolonging the game and also brutally helps the person in second, also realise that the person in the lead getting the blue shell is brutally unfair. They actually have to avoid it.

There are many schools of thought about what matters more vs less in poetry and rap but I am one of those more on the side of skill and wordplay mattering.
You can't be lazy with your flow or metaphors and expect to be considered a proficient poet, unless you are delusional.
I am going to constructively criticise you here, do not expect a fairytale with a happy ending, damsel in distress.
For My Knight:
While this can be a title, it's a poorly formed one considering that the 'for' means 'made for' as opposed to 'if it wasn't for my knight' and you take the last 3 words of that. This is not a poetic start, in fact 'Knight' on its own would be the most poetic way to entitle the piece out of these three words but it's not that good for the title. Something better to do would be an indirect reference to his knighthood that you refer to in the poem. This is how to keep things fresh and how so many cliché pop songs end up able to be published with unique titles.
My Knight rides to my tower,He’s always been a dazzler ❤️ .
Wrong. If you want to do this as a single line you have to at least rhyme 'tower' and 'dazzler' with 2 syllables both to make up for it. That's not to say that doing that would be bad, if you do pull it off that's top tier rapping.
So aim for something like this:
My knight rides to my tower, he's always dazzler,
Now aim to either compliment how soft he is or how tough and gritty he is.
For a sensitive boyfriend:
Not to deflower, but to pay my ransom,
This can then lead into you saying that if they scam him, he's got the heart and/or mind to still push through for you.
For a tough, gritty boyfriend:
Never overpowered, out-done or out-handsomed.
This sets you up to not need to fuel his ego much in the future lines of that stanza and to be more creative with where you take it.
Inside I await,For his black horse to reach the gate.
Black knights and black horses were known to be the evil ones. Robbers had them. Perhaps you are saying he's an antihero or antivillain even. That is fine but make it clear. The black horse was commonly ridden by those who fought against the 'prince charming' type.
Also, consider how easy this is to milk for extra rhymes. You basically stopped it for no reason.
I await my fate,
I contemplate how great he is upon his horse on which I'll jump and with him, lay my weight,
Just that alone has so much more skill in the rhyming and flow.
note that the 'tem' 'his' and 'him' is a very clever flow technique that few rappers know of. What it is achieving is keeping each intermediate syllable sounding similar enough to the next while being a different word. 'tem' and 'him' actually rhyme because 'tem' in contemplate is said more like 'tim' when delivered fast.
I jump on, we're now running with fright,From the oppressive tower now outta our sight.
You already had 'tower', why are you using it to rhyme with outta? Why add 'our' after outta? No need.
Let's rethink this also because 'running with fright' emasculates your oh so manly knight... Also why are you frightened when with him? That is something to consider about how you feel with him as it's a Freudian slip that you don't truly feel safe with him.
Think more like this:
On the horse that gallops with a force that's frightening,
I'm Sandy to his Danny and we move slick as if it's grease lightning.
This is an extremely strong play on words but I understand that you probably are in a generation that has no clue what Grease Lightning is, nonetheless you get the idea.
We run into night,
With all of our might.
Might/power is often held as a separate power to speed, also speed is known to have the sprinting variant and marathon variant. Are you complimenting you and him on enduring a lot as you go along or on how fast you him push through challenges? Make sure you are clear on the intent of your metaphors before slapping them in.
Eventually we reach his house,As quiet as a mouse.Spending the rest of night together,More happy than ever 🥰.
You are too young to be writing this in a poem, this is also not the best way to put how you arrive. Is he a ninja? Okay, then make it clear. He may not think being quiet is a good thing.
Making our way the very next day,Our horse blessing us with a happy neigh 🐴.Someday we’ll run away together,Like birds of a feather 🐦.
Birds don't run but this combination of animal metaphor was actually the best attempt at metaphor 'stringing' within the poem. Good job.
I have to return now my knight,But dont turn white.
White knights are the good guys in folklore, again you are saying that he is bad for you.
This is actually a bit scary because even if he's a 'bad boy' type, it implies (combined with the other Freudian slip) that he is toxic for you.

Change is the meaning of life. Literally.
Once you understand this, you will better understand the single thing that separates the living from the inanimate is that the living alter even if all around them remains the same, whereas the non-living entities change only when other things do. Think hard about this, very hard, and it will make sense.
Happiness cannot be the meaning of life because it is not even clear whether or not things like bacteria and/or maggots feel happiness in any hormonal sense at all, yet they are undeniably alive.

If that is all you meant then yes it's fine. I assumed it also meant exploiting three things:
- Creating alts as a very experienced and successful debater (so not an unsuccessful debater with such a severely low Elo you just want a second try to get high/decent) and baiting people in on your account/identity to garner wins to later go 'haha it was me all along and now I have 2 account in the Top 7!' Especially if this is done a third time over, it becomes a nuisance.
- Harassing a user (or users) tactically over many alts but doing it such that the user(s) feel obligated to 'tough it out' and not report as no one account did it too much, too often. This would probably only be done by someone who was already a significant nuisance in other ways, but it arguably could be done by someone who was patient enough, used VPNs well and when caught out by you simply pleaded ignorance and that they forgot to inform you (but the point is that it's unlikely they'd get caught, given the stealth that goes along with this and if you think this is imaginary, I am telling you this has been done on other websites and platforms and is very difficult to police without active 'radar' of people's IPs, system info etc).
- Creating alts to disarm former foes to gain dox-worthy or general dirt on them and/or other users by playing extremely friendly for a period of time whereby afterwards this information is used by the user in an exploitative manner. The key aspect of this is that had the user maintained their former username throughout, the victim would never have trusted or disclosed the information as their guard would have been up. You can argue that this is not exploitative, since this is what goes along with a 'fresh start' without former rivalries but this is also why I said you had to be precise and exact on what 'exploitative' meant so that you can easier justify bans later based on it and even just reading this in the Code of Conduct would remind users to keep their guard up to this type of thing.

Threats of lawsuits are not allowed, and by using this site you agree to waive any rights to file civil suits against fellow site users for any non-criminal actions.
Never have nor will agree to this. If the situation comes up where I am drawn to do this to someone, I will damn well inform them of it first to give a 'warning shot' and help them correct their behaviour without getting things to the courtroom or revealing who I am to them (both are unpleasant for me, costly and a waste of energy).
I have seen situations like this arise on other websites and often it is the mods themselves who issue this thing that you call 'harassment' but is actually a correct part of legal proceedings because often what you are asked to prove is that you informed the other party of how severe their actions were, legally, and yet they continued to pursue them. This helps with increasing the length of sentence and is often very significant in whether they get probation or not.

@Tejretics
I will give you 3 reasons why you are incorrect.
- New debaters will improve less since the feedback on the debates and winrate they garner over time will not be as structured towards specific areas of improvement. Whether you admit it or not, there is actual forced difference in RFD depth based on it being Choose Winner vs 4-section system (wrongly called 4-point, it's actually 7-point). The 4-section system forces new debaters to improve more from the feedback as the voters themselves are psychologically pushed to structure their RFD better, separating the presentation of the debate away from the contents, yet giving feedback on both.
- Corrupt voting is less easy to police and has more net-impact given what others cannot vote on. The fact that it's all or nothing, means that even if one debater was weaker in the main arguments area (which is usually what the entire vote is based on in Choose Winner), they can't have a cushion of points via honest voting giving them that, against someone with a grudge or whatever having a very slanted but borderline acceptable RFD.
- It is never made clear (it can't be, it's not about what the Code of Conduct says) whether or not you are meant to base it entirely on arguments only or not. Think of a scenario where you have an unbelievable abusive, rude, lazy and/or whatever type of debater who made more logical arguments and rebuttals against one who put full effort in, even potentially sourcing better. Would you give the win to the other in Choose Winner, when the 4 points would supercede the 3 in the other form of debating or at least tie, if S&G is equal? S&G wouldn't necessarily be equal if this obnoxious debater presented it visually worse as we all know that S&G includes presentation, as was brought up in the recent/upcoming MEEP, by Ragnar.

School is no different to standard employment in terms of what it is designed to do to the mind and personality of those who undergo it.
It trains you to be:
- either obedient or cunning
- either hardworking or charming
- knowing when and when not to pick a fight of any kind
These are essential life skills but I agree that in school, especially because teenagers are the most punishing toward the 'weird' out of all age groups, school is not actually good at teaching us the subject matter that we learn, instead it teaches us those three things as life skills.

Confusion via mystery and being louder when I guess right are essential components to what lets me know and reveal a lot more than the next guy.
The reason you are confused is that you are a person who remains unusually calm under pressure, this is also why you likely had to quit the site yourself. You see, people who stay calm and grit through pressure feel underwhelmed and thus unmotivated when working far from a deadline. The adrenaline of the pressure is actually an essential thing to perk such a psyche up. Conversely, Gatorade is a person who dislikes a lot of pressure and sees pressure as a necessary evil. He caves when faced with a situation that presents itself as potentially pressuring if he pushes back. He doesn't do this out of simple weakness or lack of foresight, it is actually because he is very sure he wants an endgame of mutual respect that he extends the arm of friendship.
If he were simply easy to get information out of, he wouldn't have bothered to hide it from those that demanded to know it. My presence is, or was, intimidating and unpredictable for him. He doesn't like that I easily spotted who he was. Unfortunately for him, he helped everyone narrow him down who would go back and carefully study who hasn't been banned by request vs who he denied being and how early in the site's history he claimed to be around. The only realistic alternative was Romanii, but Romanii wouldn't arrive like this, he'd be ruder, more entertaining/sensationalist and wouldn't have a description that's so repetitive.

One thing I want to agree with Supadudz on is this:
Your parents are right if what they're asking you to do is be a quiet mouse on Facebook. Stuff you say there can haunt you for life. Facebook isn't privacy-friendly, just delete your profile and at most make a new one and add only the few you need to stay in touch with. That's my advice, I am not a famous person and never want to be.
Trust me, fame is not a good thing unless you're a very ordinary, socially acceptable person on the inside. Any view or thing you do that can in any way be construed to make you seem bad will be, when and if you become relevant in any sense of fame.
I may be a coward, but I'm not a totally silent one. Thanks to not living in a hyperoppressed regime and researching VPNs, privacy T&C and techniques that companies use to harvest data, I can ascertain where to speak freer and where not to. Supadudz is correct in warning you not to say stuff you'll ever regret saying on something as attached to your identity as Facebook, I believe (as a Taoist and even who I was prior to becoming one) that all mistakes are merely learning experiences (unless it's a fatal or truly damning one). Learn, evolve and don't be immature and foolish next time you make a post or think of where to make one.
Challenge views, post as you want but do it wisely. I also would advise you away from the username 'Alec' following you everywhere. Try to reduce where and when your username is used and that applies to profile descriptions and all that jazz as well. The key to privacy as opposed to anonymity (which is basically saying as little as possible that isn't said by everyone else) is to strive to have a persona be kept to one place. Sometimes that's not possible, in such cases pace yourself wisely. Your real life identity being the 'username' on a social media platform is the most blatant time when you should be wise. Your parents are correct to warn you Alec, they want to protect you from serious media harassment and work-colleague bullying in the future. You may even be rejected from jobs (even entry level jobs) based on what you posted with your name attached, and of course it's harder to mask the more unique that your name is.

It's pretty normal everywhere that you give your child advice and are often allowed to turn up to the bank (with them) and have bank meetings together and stuff, as a parent, even after they are 18.
It's not normal that you suddenly battke them for legal ownership over their finances. Whike it's possible to ve a trusted health-based consent giver and a person their landlord deals with, if they're particularly struggling with things mentally and/or emotionally, it's not a 'thing' where you're able to make executive decisions on their behalf in finance and it's also normal that they'd take your advice and let you innthe first placd.
America clearly has ossues to even have something like this be a commonplace practise.
Created:
I don't get it, maybe it's an American thing. It's pretty normal in other nations for parents to manage their child's finances even while the child passes age 18 and becomes an adult. When I say 'manage' I do obviously understand the legally the 'true' owner of the account is not the parent.
If that's not normal in America and your parents are trying to make it legally binding that they keep control of your financial decisions, the solution lies in talking the more openminded parent out of it. Idk what to tell you, hopefully they see reason. Also, being open to their influence and showing that you take what they say on board and at least talk it out with them is a good way to make them not feel the need to force anything.
Of course there's the hardcore solution of moving out and making it on your own but that's suboptimal unless they're truly unpleasant in many ways.

Atheism is usually reached by people born into a life where desperation and suffering were absent.
Theism is usually reached by people who have been through hard times and is typically only pretended to be believed by people who have not.
There are various exceptions, 2 of the most significant achieve contradiction to those trend and it comes in 2 ways:
- When someone who has had a relatively pain-free life suddenly reaches brutal hard times fast, this inverts.
- When someone who has had a relatively painful life suddenly comes across good times this also inverts.
The contradictory occurences have even stronger correlation to the proneness to end up atheistic or theistic than the former trend.

It's extremely good for a phone game but I warn you that game is deceptively easy to learn, it's easy to pick up but very difficult to master. I won't reveal my rank but this season I'm approaching a high rank relative to the norm and relative to myself. Very wonderful game for a phone app.

Do you know what else I noticed just now? You reply to everyone with the @ function except for me (it's true that you also haven't a select few times with others but with me you haven't in this thread, consistently).
It is as if you either have some muscle memory of being blocked by me from the past or that you only click 'reply' as an instinctive thing when you disagree with someone whereas when you agree or feel aligned to them, you don't click it. This would also add up somewhat with where you haven't @'d someone in the past.
It is in noticing things like this that I make deductions about people on here that the mods would struggle to. It doesn't matter what you tell me, and the answer to your question if I enjoy my time here, I don't much but I don't hate it. It definitely got better after I quit the Discord server, that place is toxic and managed terribly (though it's improved with time, it's just too prone to toxicity and seen as a safe place to be toxic vs the main website).
It doesn't matter to me what you say, I know I am not wrong that you're an alt of someone. In fact, the way you're replying makes me all the more sure you are. Just stop pretending that I am wrong. You are telling me that you're so familiar with DDO that you somehow investigate Juggle enough to find it to be a shell company? Is that meant to make us believe that you're a brand new user?
Created:

@ATroubledMan
I am sure it works like that for you.
Ethang and I have done more to help the mods spot alt abusers than their own tech has done so far, in fact both of us also helped them spot who was abusive in the first place. While I do not not defend abuse, you do not understand why Ethang attacked you because you don't understand how utterly toxic this site was (just look at DDO's religion forums) and how many double standards there were in the moderation team both on DDO and here when you come and say these things.
I knew that Sparrow was an alt of Type1 long before the mods did. This is not because I withheld information, nor is it because I dealt with things the wrong way. I am not one to cry to a teacher when I learn that the teacher doesn't even believe me about what the wrongdoer did. Sometimes you need to be a bit self-productive in how you get a troll/bully to even reveal themselves as that. Only then can the mods even begin to side with you.
You don't understand that because you also came to the website after a while when mods actually earned their reputation and position to some degree (it's still nonsensical who gets chosen vs does not in lesser positions but Virtuoso earned his place as head mod, of that there is no question). Originally, this site was full of incompetence and corruption in the head mod's way of handling things and simply running to the mods was a bad habit to develop as more often than not it got nothing done or even angered the mods to the point where they'd ban you instead for reacting to weeks of abuse that they never once let you know they were handling (because they weren't).
You don't know this, so that is why you don't understand why Ethang, myself and some others who are more used to the old-school way of moderating here, ended up learning that the mods rarely will save you or handle things until you yourself cause the troll to reveal themselves.
I noticed you spoke on my locked thread, congratulating Ethang5, about how this doesn't work anywhere else. Actually, it is the norm on most forums that the mods don't usually give a shit unless it's very, very blatant rule breakage and where the victim is not a very disliked socially awkward member of the community. Thus, even the norm of moderation on forums is something you perceive different to myself and Ethang5, explaining why you also differ in approach to handling toxic members as a non-mod member of a forum.

You are agreeing with me that God is fundamentally amoral or upon closer inspection extravagently immoral while also extravagently merciful (a contradiction that leads to people confusing God for being 'good'). God doesn't have emotions or empathy, we are toys to it/him/her. That is what I wanted admitted by Theists in creating this thread but it was soon derailed and ironically the example used by one was that refugees who are trapped in Turkey deserve it as it was God saving Greece. At such a point, I discontinue conversation as it tells me all I needed to know about the hypocrisy of "good God" Theism.

It evolved in a village in China (or was designed if you're looking into conspiracy theories) no earlier than November and is said to only have been noticed in December. The flu you are referring to had different symptoms, Coronavirus is brutal, feels like glass is on the inside of the throat in the severe symptomatic cases, the flu doesn't feel that bad nor is it as brutally dry throughout the body and throat. Flu also is more mucus-producing, focusing on the entry to the lungs whereas Coronavirus attacks the WHOLE lung passageway through to the lung itself.

When you say still donating, it's The Steve person's first month. Do you expect me to seriously donate every month when despite all efforts I was repeatedly rejected for vote mod or any position at all for people who put far less time, effort and money than me into the website?
Personally, I have give more than I've gotten out of this website. When I donated, I was being severely bullied by many here and the moderation was barely fair at all until bsh1 realised I care more about the site than the bullies and veen then he stayed corrupt to the end of his reign here.
I believe in debating and wish we had more of it happen in politics rather than personality-attack games masqueraded as debates.
