You are wrong. On top of being sadistic and solely attacking with lies there exist lies for fun.
Most catfishes are not human traffickers, they are people who get a rise out of being loved etc and are not actually worried about the rejection of the 'real them' but are purely greedy about being a master of the art of being the fake them.
There's also examples of lying for totally non-defensive reasons that are non-attack and non-thrilling but this is by very strange people who want to test the others' ability to discover the lie among many other very eccentric people lying in many unusual scenarios.
On top of that, lying is simply having the intent to deceive and it is very important to understand that sometimes one may tell the truth out of self-preservation where lying would have been better had they had the courage. Examples include snitches, the epitome being Snowden who acted entirely against self-defense in not lying and he exposed a lie that was THE GOVERNMENT POSING AS SELF-PRESERVING while actually being quite different indeed.

Person 3 should be arrested for committing murder. The means and level of premeditation would make it first degree murder. That kill alone wouldn't get the person the death penalty most likely if the means weren't too cruel but if other kills were uncovered as having been done by the hitman/hitwoman then they'd end up getting the DP under most states' laws I believe.
Person 1 is going to go with their lawyer to make themselves out to be an accessory to murder but this is entirely untrue and if the prosecutor is well trained and the prosecution team does their job right, person 1 will go down for committing first degree murder as the hitman is their weapon of choice.

If including a tiered voting system please do one of two things.
1) Ask Aaron permission directly on DI on account 'aarong' for the right to copy the system
OR
2) change at least 2 of the ranks of 'casual, moderate [and] formal' in your ranking system and word the descriptions slightly different to how DI did.
If you think Juggle is 'corporate' DI is even more so and will sue you if you copy it directly. What you could do, is offer aarong to directly give DI credit for making the system and linking to their explanation of the voting system and quoting it. He'd be more inclined to say 'yes'.

DI is miles ahead of both DDO and edeb8 (as well as civid and fordebating) in how it's innovated everything to do with debating.
Whiteflame and I were active in fixing the voting and whiteflame can take credit as can aaron who collaborated with him on the three tier system of 'casual, moderate and formal voting'. I can take credit for being the guy who put whiteflame in touch with aaron by actively asking WF to help me explain to aaron what was currently wrong about his lax vote moderation.

This is a lie. There is a binary between unacceptable vote and acceptable. Within both there is a spectrum of how 'down' or 'up' it goes but there's a line in the sand.
You were on the 'unacceptable' side. Try again to explain a single of your votes.
Right now, one could switch out Pro with Con and alter which side they say the person is on regarding the resolution in your first line of the RFV/RFD and then justify giving all 7 to the other side.

I highly recommend 'downsizing this' and putting in your unique 'pretty font' that you use for the Site's logo as 'debate' and 'art' ('debate' on the left-appearing speaker and 'art' on the right one).
These are royalty free as in 'pure royalty free' so even using them is free. I got them from a specialist site dedicated to putting copyright-free images out there.
Some 'royalty free' images limit you to use it freely only if your site doesn't get ad revenue or financialyl benefit you in any official manner. This is 'pure royalty free' so long as you never ever state that the original photographer or pixabay are directly approving of your site or what it stands for.

I have helped a neighbour of mine create the logo and even motto of the company they run which helps local teens and young adults from rough backgrounds get into the mechanics industry (so criminal records, kicked out of school etc gives them a hope in life). I won't reveal what the brand is as that will help you track them down and then inquire as to who I am but I 100% was involved in helping them design their logo. In doing so I let them know a particular wrench they wanted to use would get them sued later on even though it's fundamentally a charity they are setting up and helped them which they thanked me for immensely.
I know what I am talking about when I saw something is totally free to use. The image of this logo is free to use.
I recommend the free program https://pixlr.com/editor/ [you can't use the editor if you don't white-list the site on your ad-blocker] to edit the image. They in no way at all watermark your images. What they will do is (beneficial to you) deny helping you in any shape or form if you say you used it to edit the image.

Btw, regarding the PM chat, I am thinking about making it "full screen", so not showing the office sidebar when you are there, just the chat. Do you think it's a good idea? And obviously I'll make it real time, probably in a couple of weeks or less.
I can promise you the sidebar is a huge 'good' thing you do not want to take away, if you really actually want your site to become an alternative to almost any social media that people would use to 'chit chat' you're gonna want the sidebar to help enable chatting to many people at once. I do understand this will be what happens in your 'chat' tab but I guarantee you dropping the sidebar is the wrong move while making it live is the right one.
If you can keep the sidebar AND make it live, this will be optimal.

iPhone is for the people of low to medium IQ. It's great because it gives you less options meaning there's less buttons to confuse your fragile brain and also less you can do to stop Apple spying on you across all apps.
