You have absolutely no way of verifying that anything that is stated in the bible, were the exact words of Jesus.

If I were to ask you to remember every detail of everything that you spoke yesterday, you would probably not remember anything.

So what are the chances of an eyewitness remembering and recording in detail....Honestly and without exaggeration.

And what are the chances of someone honestly and without exaggeration, translating and transcribing with any accuracy, several hundred years later?

No, that's not what I was getting at, I'm questioning why so many people get upset about trans people, not the trans people themselves, that has to be a tough way to live, especially because of all the prejudice against them.

What I don't get is why people are so prejudiced against trans people, why all the hatred, what have they ever done to deserve it, in what way has a trans person affected the hater's life negatively? If they haven't, then what's all the outrage about?   

There are so many real problems to be upset about, why do people choose this one?

Much is said about Israel's right to defend itself whenever civilian casualties are brought up. And of course the same argument is brought up for other countries whose attacks have high casualty rates. But if we've learned anything from the previous two examples, it's that self-defense only implies the right to kill the person attacking you, not the right to attack anyone at all. So while there might be potential arguments to justify attacks killing noncombatants, I find it hard to buy that self-defense is one of them. If an attack kills five terrorists and five noncombatants, you can argue self-defense to justify killing the terrorists, but not so much the five noncombatants.

Conservatives and libertarians like to say they're thick skinned and don't get offended at jokes no matter who the joke is against.  If I made fun of their 8-year-old daughter, then they would knock the shit out of me and act like the triggered SJWs that they advocate against.

This is fine if they OWN the fact that they're SJWs, that they're sensitive and they get offended at certain jokes; the issue I have is the dishonesty.

Maybe the SJWs were right on offensive jokes.  Maybe making offensive jokes should be taboo no matter who it's against.
