Jesus summarizes the teaching: “You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform” your oaths to the Lord (Matt. 5:33). Disciples must keep their word, especially when others depend on them, even if circumstances change or oath keeping brings real loss. No one should break vows unless keeping them requires sin.

Standing or kneeling are rigid positions. It lacks flexibility.They are rigid positions when you are only performing one of them. Repeatedly kneeling and rising is another matter. During Mass, some of the elderly members avoid it.I tend to stand at the back of the church and kneel on the ground, behind the pews

It's funny how Judaism was true for the first 2000 years but lacked this crucial element then became wrong and stupid as soon as Jesus arrived with something supposedly better. Maybe there is more salvation in Judaism than you think. After all, the law was actually a covenant of grace the whole time. God forgives people many times in the OT despite them being "under the law".
