So this is how you track down a CEO. I did it yesterday to prove a point. I know you brought up personal security as a barrier but then you just social engineer your way into their inner circle and you can still do that in a somewhat anonymous way, but also keep in mind they are probably only taking security to public meetings and such, probably not to walk them from the car to their office though if they are a high level target, hopefully their office building is surrounded by security and man traps that scan for weapons and make sure everyone who is there is authorized to be there, but in many places this isn't done.
