A LinkedIn profile of Mangione shows that the 26-year-old graduated as valedictorian of the Gilman School, an all-boys, independent day school in Baltimore that boasts a high-profile alumni network. Mangione graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science in 2020.
He was trained well to shoot a gun. But was sloppy with his getaway.

The point is that if you actually want a violent revolution, those have a pretty high failure rate. I'm not implying the CEO was on trial (he wasn't).
There is no healthcare revolution in America.

If we get the revolution people are calling for, the two situations will be comparable enough.
The lone shooter shot the Healthcare CEO during his early morning walk . Brian Thompson, 50, was killed last Wednesday in what police said was a 'brazen, targeted' attack in New York City, sparking an intense ...He was not on trial for anything. The two killings are unrelated.

King Louis XVI was killed by a lone executioner. But let's not ignore all the people cheering his death.
The execution of King Louis XVI was a result of a public trial which found the King guilty of high treason. It was a public execution.
The execution by guillotine was performed by Charles-Henri Sanson, then High Executioner of the French First Republic and previously royal executioner under ..

King Louis XVI was condemned to death by a majority of only 1 vote. Amongst those who voted in favor of the execution was the king's own cousin, Philippe Égalité, whom the king did not have positive relations with. Philippe himself would be guillotined on the same scaffold a year later.

There's a lesson here, but it seems most people haven't learned it.

Here the Healthcare CEO was killed by a lone shooter. Big difference in American justice.

@WyIted
It is absurd to associate smoking a cigar with that of killing a healthcare CEO.

I don't know if I stated that we all do and  if I did it was hyperbole. I think the point I was trying to make was that revenge is an underlying calculus that is a necessary precursor for the existence of society.

This is not to say you aren't alien. Perhaps you are. Perhaps kryptonite is your home planet. I am only saying that exceptions within humans are more likely to exist.

It's also a fact that many people aren't aware of their subconscious. For example when somebody smokes a cigar, they are unknowingly simulating sucking a cock, but they are unaware of this repressed desire to suck a large black cock and it manifests through smoking. Those people might say "I don't want to suck a large black cock, while my wife watches and mocks me for it", but those people would be wrong. They would be repressing the fact that they want a large load of cum on their face.

This may or may not justify the rape of men who smoke cigars by gay black men. That's not the point I am making at all. I am only saying sometimes we repress things and may not even be aware we are repressing them.

Atheists that believe no God exists due to no evidence known is a weak basis.

No empirical evidence for a creator of eternally existent, finite, occupied space Universe/God. All else is fantasy land belief or faith.

More than 5 regular/symmetrical and convex polyhedra cannot ever exist anywhere anywhen.

God = finite, occupied space Universe.   Simple not that complex to grasp by logical, common sense critical thinking humans

However, if we want to also include the two other catagories of Cosmic Trinary Set/Outline, then we put the word God in italics because of Meta-space.

God = 1 } the eternally existent, Meta-space mind/intellect/concepts and ego--- ex humans who conceptually place their conceptual self outside of conceptually finite Universe as if they exist are a conceptual God looking back in a that finite Universe, held in its conceptual his/her/their hands

2} the eternally existent, macro-infinite truly non-occupied space, that, embraces/surrounds the following,

3} the eternally dynamic { in motion } --aka the only perpetual motion machine---  finite, occupied spaceUniverse, and then begins its three primary subcatagories
....Gravity (  )....reality ^v^v....Dark Energy )( ergo a gross generalization as > ..........space.............( ^v^v)(^v^v)..........space....... simplistic concept

Some might say its is 3's all way the down { subcatagories } --instead of turtles--- and that is certainly true with the following fermionic matte subcatagory of observed   -reality-  time;

3 particle 3 anti-particle --electron family aka symmetry of physics

3 particle and 3 anti-particle --- neutrino family aka symmetry of phyics

6 quarks and 6 anti-quarks ---"  The six quark types are named "up," "down," "charm," "strange," "top," and "bottom. " aka symmetry of physics

Mathematical  logic to prove the existence of God. Take a look at these 12 steps made up of a set of axioms (Ax), theorems (Th) and definitions (Df).

In the time of Jesus, the Romans were the ones running the known world. Yes, the people they captured they made slaves. At that time, many Jews were scattered all around the world as slaves - because they could read and count. That's an interesting part of history too. The Jews were people of the book or scrolls, and so every male could read, mostly by the time they were 12 - do you recall a thing called Bar Mitsva? Even females were encouraged to read. The percentage of them however is something I couldn't indicate.

Since in the time of Jesus, the Jews weren't the ones in charge, it is hardly likely that OT rules and laws would be applied. And in fact we know that the way the slave system worked in Jesus' time, was basically the Roman one / Greek one - the polytheistic religious position.  In the OT, the laws applying to children born into slavery was different - and people were not allowed to kidnap others. And while in the OT, it is true that many people in war became slaves, that was a better alternative to death.  Remember the Geneva Convention wouldn't appear for thousands of years later.

Ancient Jewish literary sources suggest that Jews were both slaves and slaveholders in antiquity, and that slavery had a major impact on almost all areas of Jewish daily life, whether in Hellenistic and Roman Palestine or in the Mediterranean Diaspora.

Were the Canaanites enslaved?
The rabbinic story of the Canaanites who went to Africa was used in this context, but also was further developed, so that the African Canaanites were said to have reached Central Europe, where they eventually become the slaves of both the descendants of Shem and the descendants of Japhet, thus fulfilling the curse of ...

What role should the Catholic Church play in modern secular societies?
-->
@Tradesecret
Still, I think the Roman Catholic church has a part to play in our world. It's not going away. It is far too large to die. Yet it may be true to say that is crumbling from within.  But that's another story.
The Catholic Church is mainly challenged by other Christian’s denominations and the Jews for introducing the concept of the Trinity. But it keeps the words of Jesus alive and the world guessing.

Category theory is arguably better adapted to that end than any other current approach. The disadvantages of relying on so-called abstract nonsense are a certain blandness and abstraction in the sense of breaking away from the roots in concrete problems. Nevertheless, the methods of category theory have steadily advanced in acceptance, in numerous areas (from D-modules to categorical logic)."
The fact that even mathematics have to adhere to a unified theory proves abstract nonsense is real and disparaging.

I know you're meming, but I'll give this response anyway. In Islam polytheism is the greatest sin. So much so, that you actually are further away from Islam if you're a polytheist (even if Islam is one of your religions) than you would be if you were an atheist.

None of which are actually forthcoming on anything other than a random basis.

Also, I'm not sure my values align with this more mercenary, transactional form of faith. If the gods are no different than mafiosos, what makes them divine?

We wrote the Bible fool.
Masonry is a system of paganism and idolatry, demanding belief in a god, not the God of the Bible. They call him Baalim, an idol god. 9. Masonry demands that those coming into its order swear an oath that is wrong for any man to take, supporting their right to take his life if he divulges their secrets.
Nice try, but nope, I will not divulge our secrets.

What else do you call her when she doesn’t behave like a mother?
I call her a whore and then she says

"I am your mother, don't talk to me that way"

Then I flip her the bird and she yanks my pants down to spank me.

Then she breast feeds me for a bit to make me feel better and often that makes me hard and she doesn't want me having premarital sex and ruining my life with a kid so she often gives me a blowie so I don't have that temptation.

She is a pretty good mother but my allowance could be more
You should tell her not to deduct from your allowance for sexual favours as a good mother.

So the answer to your question is - yes, it applied only to slaves who practised or adopted Judaism.  And given that anyone could join Judaism - and the OT is full of people who did, then you were only excluded if you chose to be.  The question for many would be - is the God of the Jews fairer and more just than the gods of their ancestors?  And I reckon that objectively many thought that the Jewish God was. And many others thought otherwise.  In many ways, it is no different to our world today.

In the time of Jesus, some people were slaves because they were born to slave parents. Others were captured in war and were forced to become slaves.

Judaism is closed because if you’re not born and raised Jewish, you’re strongly discouraged from converting, unless you marry or are adopted into a Jewish family–and even then there are requirements for the process.

The media companies have an audience they cater too and they will lose this audience if they cannot sustain this addiction.

How would them all being a hive mind differentiate them from the competition?

They take a niche approach.
A niche marketing strategy is an approach that focuses on serving a particular segment of the market with unique needs and preferences. It involves identifying a specific group of customers with distinct requirements and tailoring marketing efforts to meet their needs.

It's really odd that you are making random posters about a niche when we were talking about a completely unrelated topic
It was in response to your question on how they differentiate from the competition.

The cops I wouldn't be surprised if they "accidentally" miss some details or if they intentionally fuck up the investigation by revealing stuff like what was written on shell casings or what is in a backpack only he would know about so that way if a detective does get a confession it doesn't matter because he literally can only give details that are public knowledge
The cops can only report what they know or find. They let out this information so the public can assist them in figuring out the connections they might have missed.

I think communities should encourage, discourage, community legislate against sins.
Which would be lacking much 'direct force,
Home Owners Association for instance, can't have me whipped if I paint my house a gaudy color.
But 'could exert influence, or fines in certain situations, such as a community where one agrees to laws before joining.

On a Federal Level however, I think I prefer the direction of the American Constitution.
You should at least respect the community you live in.

should sins be outlawed? some people think for example that sodomy should be outlawed. historically, it was an outlawed practice. some old school catholics might want to outlaw the sins defined in their church, but progressive catholics or moderate ones might want to respect the autonomy of other people as long as the sin doesn't hurt other people.
All kinds of sins are outlawed in the Bible. But because of the separation of church and state America is struggling to implement the commandments in the Bible.

The Quran must tell Muslims to hate their neighbour and be least likeable. Only that can explain why 60 percent of Muslim countries are at war with each other and their neighbours. The Jews were never liked throughout their history and faced antisemitism wherever they went. Nowhere in their Hebrew Bible does it tell Jews to be likeable. Christianity follows Jesus’s teaching. Even here Jesus never taught it was important to be likeable. Jesus was crucified for his oversight for not being likeable.
