NDE's are interesting but it is not evidence for an after life. In fact I think NDE's as evidence is just an attempt to cherry pick data to confirm biases, and not a legitimate attempt to understand whether there is actually an afterlife or not, which is why all attempts to read a card after a patient has been put under, and have had their heart removed, has failed. 

1. personal/experience is not persuasive to me, and I think it should be left out of the discussion, unless you have some way to show that it is something I can replicate and trust the results of. I don't think you would trust my personal experiences to guide you in your beliefs either.

2. correlated sources- If you have sources that correlate these facts, I would appreciate if you provide me with the sources or tell me where to find them, so I have the opportunity to gain the same knowledge that you apparently have.

3. What evidence? Saying you have evidence is not convincing, you need to show evidence to be persuasive.

4. I'm not sure what this even means.

5. spirituality seems like the personal experience argument and can probably be lumped in with that.

Yes I was asking for a formal debate, but we can discuss it here in a more relaxed fashion. No big deal. The problem I find with NDE's is that they seem to just be a psychological phenomenon, like dreaming that happens when your pineal gland responds to trauma by sending out chemicals that simulate light to your minds eye, and you can basically dream more vividly. I believe I have ran into some studies cited in the book "SpooK" by Mary Roach where experimenters have put cards on the ceiling during surgeries, to see if they could be recalled when people claimed to have had NDE's and the experiencer has failed to recall the specific card 100% of the time. 

NDE's caused by a psychological phenomenon, and not be evidence of an after life. 

I think refraining from obvious logical fallacies such as bare assertions which are common place on this board should be included in the guide as well.

I think the statement "Islam is right about women" is meant to bring about cognitive dissonance on the part of some liberals who idolize certain special groups of people. While Republicans are unfairly in my opinion are said to favor large corporations, many liberals favor any group they view as a minority. They see "victim" as a label to show the superiority of one group over another, by elevating women and Muslims to the status of victim, they also see believe neither group is capable of large scale collective wrongs. Only white male, christians can be capable of large scale wrongs, so when it is pointed out that Muslims have a religion that is clearly anti feminist than it hurts these particular liberals, and they are forced to attack their own belief system that their declared victims are completely innocent of any large scale wrong doing (As they define wrong doing). When confronted with the statement "Islam is right about women", They can not say what their gut reaction tells them to, and the cognitive dissonance often washes over their face. After biting their tongue to tell the speaker he is wrong, they call him racist or sexist. 

I think Bill Maher talks a lot about this cognitive dissonance, when he discusses radical islam, and even he realizes what most muslims would consider moderate is still pretty radical by Western standards.

I think this is the "true world" theory that many long debunked philosophies talk about. The term "ultimate reality" is either a semantic trick meant to literally change the meaning of words. I assume what we perceive in our daily lives is the ultimate reality, and honestly the phrase needs rto be better explained, but I feel it won't be broken down for us, because ambiguity allows him to hide from any argument you make, A type of moving the goal post fallacy

Also I am not presenting a diagnosis. Just because he has displayed symptoms of early onset schizophrenia does not mean he has it, which is why it is a good ideal to seek help, and I say "before it is too late" because if medicated early, schizophrenia can be a non issue in somebody's life, so yes if you see somebody displaying obvious symptoms you have a moral obligation to point them towards help

I don't disagree with that. I don't have enough information to know if it is true or not, all I know is I have been helped a lot by MODERN psychology, and it may help you as well. 

This is a young crowd and I don't mean to  nit pick, but if this is viewed as a promotion or a demotion by the moderators, it is a serious issue. Ideally it is viewed as a role acquisition and nobody thinks they are above anyone else in any sort of hierarchical sense. 

I have personally held many leadership roles,and even when technically above people in a hierarchical sense, I have always strived to be a servant leader. 

I would advise putting people in positions of influence based on how seriously they take the ideal of servant leadership. 

I legitimately have mental deficiencies. It is not offensive to point them out, and I certainly hope not against any terms of service. This site seems to be geared towards us growing to strengthen these deficiencies, so I want mine pointed out.
