@PREZ-HILTON
I don't think it is responsible to give someone the power to help decide perm bans that holds grudges and is against freedom of speech.
Do you have an example of RM's alleged opposition of "freedom of speech"?
Who does RM hold grudges against?

I can't hold him to it, but he accepted that pledge in front of God.
Say what you will about Wylted, but he has jokes

Yes, I take the threat against the Democratic process very seriously.
Only because that relates as a threat to you

Wylted will be fair to all.
That sounds like equity rather than equality

Wylted, answer me this:
Are you confident in your occupation as the possible president?
I doubt so, because of the existence of this thread. If you did not see RM as an opposing force, you would not be inclined to have these "pledges"

The final say lies with the mods and laws of DART. Democracy is not the leading force of "what I should do"

Do you want votes to matter?
My vote for RM did matter. This thread is not officially part of the presidential votes, so I do not care for participating.
This is your idea of a back-up plan

@Wylted
This is the first I have heard or read of DART being under the influence of a democracy. I am not sure if this democracy is truly present or what it is doing.
Is there a forum or a link you could supply me with to view RM's alledged bullying first-handedly?

Wylted has promises that sound good on the surface. Initially, I would vote for him because of how he projects himself on his campaign threads. But he is much less trustworthy than Rational Madman. Wylted's points do not have as much depth as RM's.
Rational Madman clearly cares about the site and common people. He is not manipulative--at least sinisterly.
Wylted could easily be wanting to gain the President title for selfish reasons.
"The most important benefit of electing me, is I will give you actual currency." - Wylted (not bolded so as not to confuse my vote)
This is ridiculous. Why would we need a currency on a Debate website? There is no need. That is merely invention and not innovation. Clearly a ploy to gain votes.
What is more disappointing is that Wylted states this is "The most important benefit of electing [him]" The most important benefit to ensuring Wylted is president is the manifestation of a crypto-currency.
I am hazarding a guess that this is not actually Wylted's main incentive for voting for him, but the fact that Wylted claims this to be his "most important benefit" is very disappointing.
Rational Madman at the very least cares very much for the people, and I trust his judgement. He is too imperfect to be tricking us. Wylted is hiding something.

A nice addition to DebateArt would be to create a "random debate generator." This tool would be capable of creating spontaneous debate titles. If there are new users to the website or regulars that are lacking in creativity, this device would grant instant possibilities for debates

The Bible proves that hominids compiled it.
You are saying that the Bible contains proof that it was written by hominids. Where in the Bible is this stated?

There cannot be an objective morality without a perfect standard

@Best.Korea
There cannot be multiple truths and simultaneously multiple moralities because with all of the “truths” that could eventually be generated, they will begin to contradict each other.
It is impossible for truth to contradict itself, otherwise the “truth” would then be incorrect and thus a falsehood

Who decides what is logical?
And in your example with the casino, what is being justified? What is being decided right or wrong?

If you or your community value/ought such.
Additionally, how do you know if what you or your community value is true or correct?
Created:

@Lemming
I'd say it just depends on what you value, want, ought.
What is "it"? "It just depends..." What is "it"?

@Best.Korea
1 + 1 = 2 is not a matter of opinion or value. It is part of a mathematical law that is eternal. It does not matter if I observe the aforementioned math equation because the law is still true whether I believe it or not.
So just as there are true laws, there must be truth to everything. Which means there must be a true morality. Truth is not relative, so there is an objective morality

@Best.Korea
I propose 2 theories:1) Getting used to be hated from childhood2) Accepting "hate and violence" as something good and profitable
1) What do you mean "getting used to"? Accepting it as a truth? Developing a lie: everyone hates me and the world is against me? Childhood is the worst time to feel no love. That is extremely detrimental to one's mental health.
2) Do you know who accepts "hate and violence as something good and profitable"? Criminals. Some dictators
Moreover, your theories stem from what a victim would potentially start to think after being bullied. If studies conclude that bullied children commit more crimes, why would anyone endorse your theories as productive?

@Best.Korea
I am going to prove that there is objective right and wrong. It starts with knowledge of laws that govern our world. Laws that have always been around. Take math for example.
1 + 1 = 2. That is right. It is not wrong. It cannot ever be wrong.
1 + 1 = 5. That is wrong. It is not right. It cannot ever be right.
How can you say that there is not objective right and wrong? Right and wrong is not "part of a conceptual fantasy world."
Therefore, right and wrong is not "made up in our head." Right and wrong was governing our earth before there were human heads.

How do we know what is right or wrong if there are no "right" values? What is false and what is truth? There is nothing else but right and wrong
Created:
"I would guess they are more likely to commit crimes like theft and rape."
So crimes in a general sense. I would rearrange "more likely to commit crimes" with a lack of respect for authority and rules. A hatred of people can appear if one is mistreated and abused by others. Those who are angry at the world can definitely commit horrendous acts like shooting schools. Anger can drive one to have high contempt for humans and want to lash and "avenge" themself from their school years.
I'll talk more about your Proposed Theories later

Hey, this my first post ever on this website.
What I have to say is:
1) What crimes would the bullied be more likely to commit?
2) What form of bullying is taking place?
