I think Churches have seen the writing on the wall for years and have been very slow to realise what society at large is trying to tell them which is no wonder why Church goers are leaving in droves.
Many of their rules and dictums are well behind the times, for example, villification of homosexuals, anti-abortion and anti-assisted suicide.
Not only are these views hurtful and offensive to others, they are in some cases illegal.
Christianity is fast being relegated to where it began, as a radical, fringe, anti-social cult.

Talking to those Republicans and they will all tell you that what they do is in the name of Jesus Christ.
Lets us all see your documented evidence for that actually being the case.
I'm sorry but I did not write the event in my notebook at the time.
It is ISLAM that is the problem for Muslims because of its vile and violent ideology and beliefs and instruction to its adherents.
No more than Christianity because of its vile and violent ideology, beliefs and instructions to its adherents.
In fact, most people would say that Christianity has the most vile and violent ideology of any religion.
However, I am not saying that. What I am saying is that irrespective of what the Bible or Quran says, followers will interpret passages the way they see fit to fit in with their own ideologies.
Moderate followers will see goodness and peace; extremists will see violence and self-centered promotion of their own nefarious causes.

@Envisage
9 in 10 people get chicken pox in their lifetimes, today. So... ok? Well done I guess?
Completely wrong.
It is estimated that since the use of the varicella vaccine in 1995 became widespread, there has been an 85 percent decrease in infections.

You made the claim so you get to show us all who they were.
I did.
As with all my posts, I thoroughly and objectively research the subject. You have failed to respond.
You have made a claim to the opposite effect; you are either lying or in complete denial of the facts in which case you are clearly deluded.
The fact is that religious institutions by their very nature are prejudiced and incite bigotry.

It makes absolutely no sense at all does it.
Exactly, yet as with most incidences like this the person is either deluded, lying, or both.

Just lock thread or warn for spam. W/e u wanna do
It is quite clear to deduce that this is the sort jumbled gibberish exemplified by the Scottish gentleman shown in the topic video. He was obviously deluded; you could see his eyes were bulging out of his head while he spoke. Yet when he was politely corrected he took exception and his deluded thoughts really started pouring out.
A characteristic of delusion is that the subject is completely unaware of his condition.
