A.I. Generated Art Contest
I'm a huge fan of A.I.. My current hobby includes generating A.I. art and printing them on canvas to decorate my man-cave.

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in a visual debate (No words, only topic specific art). Every round has a specific topic and each person has to generate AI art to post. The best AI artist wins.

Any takers?

I’ve Started The Keto Diet Within The Past Week.

Unsweetened almond milk is a perfectly fine low glycemic product. You can make your own at home if you want to control for chemical additives.  You can buy the almonds in bulk at 60 USD/10lbs. Makes about 30 bottles of milk. I use it for coffee creamer.

I’ve Started The Keto Diet Within The Past Week.
I did Keto and zero carb for over a year. My blood-pressure became dangerously high, my cholesterol was super high, I became hypocalcemic (low calcium presence in blood) and I started having random anxiety attacks. I only ate red meat, avocados, water and table salt.

When  the symptoms became unbearable, I switched to a whole-food, low glycemic plant diet. Blood pressure normalized within a week, cholesterol dropped to near normal levels, and anxiety disorder went into remission.

My personal belief is that keto is an adaptive state for scarcity, and not a suitable long term diet. Be very careful. Have your labs drawn. Monitor your biometrics. Some people do fine on this diet, other people react poorly. The problem is, many of the damaging side-effects are muted until your body loses the ability to compensate for the imbalances.

For example, the reason that you lose a lot of weight quickly at the start, is because your metabolic pH drops and you become acidotic. To compensate, you body draws calcium from the bones as an acid buffer and you increase urine output as your body attempts to get rid of the acid through urine. The first 10 lbs is literally fluid, not fat. You have to drink plenty of water, because the pH compensation is a continuous process. You can injure your kidneys if you don't monitor your fluid status.

Yes. I used software that scans the server and then attempts to copy every file.
Since it’s a 200+ hour process, I focused only on the raw text.

Nope. Juggle LLC let their LLC expire. Another unrelated company registered under the same LLC a few years later. I contacted them too. They were baffled. Have nothing to do with the original Juggle.

DDO Eulogy:
We gather here today, on the 12th day of June, to commemorate the rotting, bloated, carcass of Debate.org. The reason it's rotting and bloated, is because it actually died a week ago, and someone left it out in the sun.

DDO was once a vibrant community.....well, it actually still is a vibrant community. I think ants are building a nest in it's torso. Ehw.
However, before the ants, there was spam bots, militant white nationalists, BackwardsEden (a man who did entirely too much LSD to be allowed on the internet), and an occasional visitor from...(checks I.P. log).....Afghanistan, who really wanted to debate people on the authenticity of the Quran. Unfortunately, after spending hours writing 10,000 character arguments, with cited sources from various religious scholars, his debate opponent only replied with "safe places on the darkweb to get 100% working credit cards ".

During the last weeks of DDO, I personally reached out to the next of kin, who had long abandoned Juggle LLC (which was now trademarked and owned by a weird babysitting company). I offered to take over the full-time care and rehabilitation of DDO and offered to buy the domain and webservice outright. A few days later, they responded by shutting down the webservice. So.......I guess it's kind of my fault. Had I not reached out, they probably would have forgotten that they ever owned the site.

In an effort to save the debates and forum conversations, I archived the entire site in HTML text files and immediately started going through people's old profiles to see if I recognized anyone. It all came flooding back in a huge wave of emotion. Rage....mostly. I hate Imabench. I hate him so much, with his stupid curly f#$@king head.

Ok....someone hand me shovel. Let's bury this bastard before the wolves smell the carrion.

it's unformatted text, but easy enough to read. I think the largest files is 106 MB.

---- Debate.org Historical Archive ----

A full site back-up with graphics was unfortunately not possible. All the information is unformatted text in html files.

I posted these links in a related forum, but figured a dedicated forum would be best. These archives captured "everything" that isn't a graphics file. Every user profile, every debate, every forum post and every poll (if anyone even cares about polls).

I have a rudimentary backup of DDO hosted on my webservice. It's essentially a text file of every account, debate, forum post, etc.
It's approximately 106 MB.
If you want an archive for yourself, it's here: https://www.USBurning.com/DDO/ddo.zip.

There is a more thorough version in the works, but it's not a guarantee. I'm 15 hours into a backup of the site, and it's only about 30% done. Currently it's about 796MB. I'll host that content as well, if (big if), the back-up works.

I'll post to this forum when it's completed.

No. The webservice is shutting down, but the domain remains privately registered. I reached out to the last listed owner about buying everything, and their response was to shut it all down. The domain name arguably has a value exceeding 100k, although nobody in their right mind would pay that.

The content is a text file, unformatted. You can just visit your profile URL and archive it manually with copy and paste.

You can't.

I was on DDO for a few years (username Heineken). I went back last month to see if I can fill some newly found free time, only to see that it was a spambot hell. I tried contacting Juggle LLC, but after a registry search found out that Juggle LLC was disbanded and now belongs to a babysitting business.
However, the CEOs names are still listed on the old Juggle website, so I found them on LinkedIn and wrote them specifically for the reason of buying the domain "as is". I also offered to take over the role of webmaster (for free).

Within 24 hours, the notice appeared that the site was getting shut down. I'm thinking they weren't interested in a buyout or a revitalization.

Has anyone ever given you useless advice?
No advice is useless. Some advice serves the purpose of guiding you and some advice allows you to judge the advice-giver as incompetent (and there is value in that).
