Will AI make investing in higher education pointless?
-->
@Shila
That’s true, AI is specifically built to outperform humans in certain tasks, especially speed, pattern recognition, and data processing. In those areas, it’s already hard to compete.
But I think the key difference is scope. AI improves on human intelligence in narrow, defined problems, while humans still control context, goals, ethics, and creativity. Someone has to decide what the AI should optimize for, how it’s used, and why it matters in a real business or social setting.
Even the best AI still depends on human judgment for things like strategy, leadership, communication, and understanding real-world constraints. You can beat humans at calculation, but not at setting direction or interpreting messy human problems.
So I see AI less as a competitor and more as a multiplier. People who know how to guide, question, and apply AI will stay valuable — the challenge isn’t beating AI, it’s learning how to work with it intelligently.

Interesting question. I don’t think AI will make investing in higher education pointless, it will just change what we invest in. Degrees alone won’t be enough anymore, but skills, adaptability, and real-world problem solving will matter more than ever. AI can automate tasks, but it can’t replace strategic thinking, creativity, or understanding how technology fits into business.
For example, many students now aim to work with a Software development company, and that still requires strong fundamentals, communication, and continuous learning. AI becomes a tool, not a replacement. So instead of skipping education, people should focus on smarter education — learning how to work with AI, not compete against it.
