You said "Wikipedia on top!" earlier, which I agree with.

You might consider asking @AustinL0926, this seems like something he might be interested in.

Khan academy + Wikipedia is unbeatable.

But you must be careful as it could slice the already dwindling playerbase in half.

If you do it correctly it could work, possibly.

Are you sure that monetization is the best way forward? It seems to betray what the site had in mind.

Thoughts On DART's Latest Update
-->
@DebateArt.com
Here are some examples:

In general:
- You click on the envelope and see "Chats" but there is no create button
- Where and how can you create a Question on someone's profile?
- The Mentions system could be confusing, it's a text box and someone might ask "how am I supposed to separate multiple names?"
- (This is temporary) It's confusing for it to be impossible to change your profile picture.

Especially as a new user, you're probably going to be very confused when you don't know you need "qualifications":
- You can't find where your qualifications are or what the requirements are
- You can't find the button to create a forum post

Additionally, this is not directly related to the UI but new users will be confused by the "slang" used on the site: DDO, DART, BoP, Kritik, etc.

Thoughts On DART's Latest Update
Here's why I think that:
  1. New users are locked from rated debates, voting, and forum topics.
  2. The requirements for these are a bit stringent, especially for rated debates.
  3. From my POV, people don't really do many unrated debates.
  4. The UI can be confusing at times

The look is fine, but I think the restrictions cause a bit of an issue.

I like the new look of debateart
This is because if you're locked out of stuff and nobody accepts your unrated debate there's kind of no point staying. It would be almost read-only in a sense.

Personally, I think this will probably discourage new users from staying.

New update violates 2 different MEEPs and undermines what they entail.

DebateArt.com 2023 Election Voting
After careful analysis of both candidates' history, examination of both users' general comportments, and inspection of their respective activities over time I have concluded that RationalMadman is the current best choice.
