Why do people who have near death experiences recite different versions of the afterlife?
-->
@Bones
Because each person has different near death experiences, just because they think they saw Jesus, doesn't mean it really was Jesus especially since we don't know what Jesus looked like.

A careful reading of the bible and the application of grammatical principles reveals no real contradictions, the  alleged paradoxes , can usually be  addressed very easily.

How silly are Covid restrictions
-->
@oromagi
 Yes I know that subtle, situational humour is not for everyone and actually people are not necessarily lining up to buy non essentials because those items won't scan at checkout. People spread out buying essentials and non essentials causes no more threat than massive lineups at the grocery stores.
 it's good to know that D. Ford is not making any money off of the business, or that there is no nepotism happening, I guess Fords increase in his worth is due to other factor and is just coincidental.

My humour is usually from observing things or events which could be interpreted as humourous. Shoppers are not breaking the law by lining up (while social distancing)to get into a store, it is a result of the fact that they have less places to shop at and can only buy certain items. Greeting cards are just an example of so called non essentials, I for one couldn't  care less about greeting cards, but how does buying non essentials effect the spread of Covid in any way shape or form.
 Mr. Fords business has profited greatly from these restrictions.

@oromagi
Yes I know what the law says, what I didn't know is that there would be a lack of humour here. But, my post is not entirely meant to be humorous.
The law is not making any assertions about what products have COVID-19. That is the point, if you can't get Covid from so called non essential items , then why can't a mother by her children shoes or clothes or other items deemed by someone to be non essential. My experience with online shopping for clothes is every time my wife orders online most of it has to go back because it doesn't fit. During the first lockdown some of the businesses, including Walmart complained about the restrictions, pointing out the fact that they resulted in more people in smaller areas, thereby defeating the purpose of social distancing.
 Not sure how you could possibly know that I am breaking the law by pointing out the inconsistency of the law you see as consistent and attacking my hygene  is a logical fallacy.
 Someone is telling these businesses what they can sell and what they can't, if not our polititions then i don't know who. At least one of those making the rules is making loads of money off of all this because his company, which makes the directional arrows (among others) that tell us which way to walk down an aisle has gone from being worth nine million before the pandemic to now being worth fifty + million.

Here in Ontario we have certain businesses shut down, except for curbside pickup, some businesses are open but you can't buy certain "non essential" items or there are only a certain number of people allowed in stores at one time, which results in line ups at grocery, drug drug stores and hardware stores, which results in having more people in less places, even though they may or may not be distancing. At stores like Costco there are certain aisles blocked off but you can still buy food and pharmaceuticals, but you can't buy clothing ( I guess we can go naked since clothing is non essential ). At Dollerama  you can't buy greeting cards, but at Shoppers Drug Mart you can. At Walmart I saw a woman trying to buy shoes for her child only to be told they weren't essential. I could go on but the point is it looks like you can get Covid from buying certain items from certain stores or walking down certain aisles in certain stores. It seems like our politicians are making up the rules as they go along.

Unfortunately many people think that scientists can prove something to be true, but this is not true at all, they can never know if they have all the evidence or not and many times the discovery of previously undiscovered evidence has overturned previously held beliefs.

Noah's arch must be pretty big.
The fountains of the great deep, Scientists believe that there is up to three  times the amount of water beneath the earths crust as there is on the surface.
The water could have come from there as indicated and, of course would also return to whence it came. As for other boats they likely would not have had time to prepare and would probably perished due to lack of food and drinkable water.

What i actually was saying is that all species came from an original pair at the time of the flood, one dog pair gave rise to all the species of dogs, one cat pair gave rise to all the different species of cats and so on for each kind of animal.  Weather one calls it evolution or adaptive change, it still makes sense and is supported  by scientific study.

-->
@BrotherDThomas
Actually i am promoting the fact that God designed us with the ability to adapt to different situations, while still remaining fully human or, in the case of animals, they remain the same type of animal. We know also that many species have come about by the manipulation of man. This, of course was much later labeled as "evolution".
 The number of animals on the ark is undetermined and i said it would "make sense" for God to send the young animals to the ark  as they would take up less space are generally healthier. Don't know of anything in the Bible says this, it is speculative.

@Bones
All the species we have today came from a single pair and kind of animal. Dogs came from an original kind of dog such as dingos or whatever the accepted dog kind is these days, many have been man made or have changed due to environmental or other influences, but, of course they still remained canines.
 As for the large animals, it would make sense to take the young as they would likely be healthier. All this would greatly reduce the number of animals on board.

@Mandrakel
Creationists interpretation of the evidence is generally not accepted by atheists. We all have the same evidence, the same rocks, the same fossils, the same sedimentary layers and so on, and we may not have all the evidence can, and often does  change previously held conclusions.

God (Jesus) is a loving and forgiving God, but is also a just God.
God could also make their deaths peaceful.
And no people don't change after death, that is for the living.

Making a final choice to be with God  does not make a person a robot, free will may well exist in heaven but in the case of the Christian, they have made the choice to worship God before entering heaven.

Atheists often complain about God not doing anything about rape, murder, suffering  or other crimes against humanity, but then complain when he does do something about it. Free will is the cause of these crimes, but free will is necessary, otherwise we would just be robots.
