I just give my view on any given subject and leave it at that. If challenged I just say we agree to disagree if nothing the other party presents makes any intellectual sense. If good factual points are made, I will consider chaining my mind. That rarely happens. Most rebuttals are ad homs, character assassination's and shaming tactics. There is no need to defend an argument that makes no claim. It is the party that makes a claim that needs to defend its claim. An atheist doesn't believe in a god so what does an atheist have to defend? It is the believer that there is a god that has 100% burden of proof. Scientifically speaking, the proof of a God can not be definitively proven.

The "big bang" is a theory it isn't fact. I for one reject it because all of creation coming from a singularity with no dimensions seems quite preposterous to me. No one knows how the universe began and most likely never will. All of humanity will most likely go extinct before that question is ever answered definitively.

I would also add: Make living on the streets illegal and create encampments to house and feed the homeless. spare me all the details of who lives where and with whom. People will be separated by biological sex and all that shit. There would be no use of drugs or alcohol. You will work to stay their by picking up trash and cleaning graffiti. There would also be a day labor organizations on site for those who don't want to do that kind of work to earn their keep. 75% of all day labor money would be kept in escrow to get back on their feet. If you leave without having proved you have somewhere to go, you lose all monies in escrow. You would be free to leave at anytime of course. But you are not going to live on the streets.

I've tried in the past to start threads that would make people take a hard position, but they always degrade into deflection, adhoms and insults. I remember asking How would you reduce homelessness. No one without exception would suggest anything concrete in action. It was all just worthless platitudes with 0 accountability on anyone's part. I made some suggestions and was instantly labeled with all the predictable adhom BS.

Even if that disagreement breaks no laws or harms anyone. You don't determine if you are good, everyone you come in contact with does based on your interactions and words. "Good" is obviously subjective. I am reliable, consistent, trustworthy and dependable. Those are objective truths about me. I am not a good person. I have differing opinions. Merely having a differing opinion can make you a bad person. For instance: Not supporting a political narrative or voting for the wrong political candidate.
