Age has nothing to do with being an adult, a 15 year old can be an adult. An adult pays their own bills, doesn't live with their parents and figures out how to handle all of life's problems themselves. That is what adults do. The govts responsibility (Public Education)  since day one, always has been, is still,  and always will be to teach children to read, write and do math above all else.
