2 of my friends got full fee waiver plus their unis are paying 30,000 dollars per year to get them to join the PhD program, I don't know what you are talking about. 

Yeah UK is not really a hotspot anymore, because of such a restricted market and limited opportunities, Most students talk about US,Canada, Germany,Netherlands, and maybe Australia. Unless it's Imperial College London or Cambridge I have not seen peers or seniors apply for UK universities. Don't mind it , just the truth currently. 

Let me provide some context, A lot of my friends are heading to US for further studies, so I thought it would be nice to ask what the debateart.com community thinks about it.

What will the topics contested? I cannot contest localized topics about USA. If the topics will be international in scope, I can participate. I am not from USA as you all might know. 

They are horrible as a country, no freedom of expression, thought and speech . Trade cannot bustle in an environment where trading partners or their nationals are being sentenced to death. Few months back the Chinese sentenced a Canadian to death for drug peddling and are currently holding 2 Canadians as a bargaining chip , when Canada detained a Huawei executive for questioning. 

Nominal PPP is never correct to measure the strength of an economy, American currency is at a higher valuation because of the strong foreign exchange reserves and demand for dollar, but if someone was to say, construct a six lane highway in America or say build a train track, it will cost tremendously more in America than in my country(India), that is the reason why all fundamentally easy productions are actively outsourced to South Asian and East Asian economies. I can buy a decent car in India for roughly 5-6k , same car might be selling in America for 25k. Why the stark difference? A factory worker in India will be roughly paid - 5-6$ for a day's work, In America it will easily touch 100$ or above.

He was useless agreed, sasuke was useless, but very powerful, because he had the other half of the chakra of Sage of six paths. I commented strictly on the plot , no sasuke everyone dies , kaguya wins, end of story. 

No sakura no one has a problem, think about it even if she died in the Shinobi War, does the plot move , not at all.

I have watched all 220 original and 500 of Shippuden , twice. I discontinued after Naruto and Hinata's marriage , Baruto makes no sense to me. Perspective :Development of plot, the Plot peaked when Naruto and Sansuke fight Kaguya, no point discussing that. The build up - akaksuki, the great Shinobi war and in all other build ups , sakura's role is not worth examining,even side- characters like Killer Bee had more function than her. 

True one might not be an expert in History or Eng literature because the fields are frankly too broad to comprehend, but the topic of your dissertation , the dissertation you presented infront of the review committee, you surely are an expert in that. I agree with one portion of your comment though , How does one qualify is very difficult to ascertain. 

But when we had the China debate you sourced Expert opinions from Academic references, isn't it a huge downgrade when you dive from reading academic research to wikipedia. 

If we look at the overall story, it peaks when sasuke and naruto take on their supposed mother and mother of thier ancestors- Kaguya. Even when the 4 th great shinobi war was going on it was Naruto's chakra that saved all of the Allied Shinobi Army, Sakura had no role to play. Even when Mighty Guy sensei opened all the gates in combat with Uchiha Madara, Naruto's healing ability saved him. If we go even before this phase when Naruto had the nine-tails taken from him, Minato healed him by giving him the sealed Nine tails chakra. Even Neji and Hinata were more important than Sakura, Neji saves Naruto's life, and Hinata's fall makes Naruto run havok when akatsuki attack Konoha. 

I agree with the above people Sakura is useless. Even Tsunade was more useful, since Naruto would not have learned the Rasengan had she not pushed him to do so within 3 days.

Hey guys sometimes while reading reporting or news articles or documented historical events, I encounter websites or news agencies providing conflicting reporting or description of events, what do people think about reliability of the sources? especially wikipedia, I recently found a wikipedia page grossly misinforming about a particular incident, when I dug official sources. 

So in general do you guys feel wikipedia as a credible source?  

About the first part what do you feel if the sources contradict each other?
